It seemed before everything was pointing me in all different directions and now it is all pointing me to the what is. Even before when I was hearing it being said you are the space between thoughts it was as if I didn’t even hear it at all, and now it’s all I can hear. The main struggle is dealing with the deception and love of suffering the mind keeps sending my way because it’s feeling threatened.

Would highly recommend Vipassana meditation, they have centres all over the world and it's completely free of cost, the root of all our issues is impurities in the mind and practicing vipassana targets it at it's core.

Thank you for this knowledge, I am humbly trying to practice karma yoga in all aspects of my life and praying that my Lord would accept the fruits of my actions to please Him only, far too long I have been selfishly engaged in serving the ego. I hope that with these practices I can get the ego demon under control, I will likely have to listen to this video a few more times, and then again to ensure that I remember. Ram Ram Ji.
Maybe referring to the ego as a demon creates unnecessary fear/adversity to a very human aspect of ourselves. Yes it is good to recognize the ego as something limiting that can stop us from living and loving from the most pure place. But it is a ‘protective mechanism’ of our human psyche and not inherently evil… it just is, it just exists and we only have to recognize it as something seperate from ourselves not assign it an evil or malignant nature❤

I left a nice tip in a cafe this morning thinking that I hope something nice will happen to me and my family. Is that OK or have I missundestood?
How do I avoid depersonalization while using this and learning about dualism? It does help but also sometimes gives me anxiety because I feel that I am not my body

How do you continue spiritual progression in the face of one negative happening after another? I’m having trouble even maintaining the motivation to better myself for my family and those that I come into contact with..
I guess what I’m asking is thusly: How do you stay motivated, despite adversity? Am I not meditating enough? Is there something I’m missing?
I lost my father in June of 2021 and it’s been all downhill since.

What version/translation of Bhagavad-Gita do you suggest people read? I'm seeing negative comments for every translation so it's hard to pick which one to read first.
Try The Holy Geeta, Commentary by Swami Chinmayananda, published by Central Chinmaya Mission Trust costing Rs.400. Each shloka is given in Samskruta, English and detailed in good English
I also liked The Bhagavad Gita for daily living in 3 volumes by Eknath Easwaran published by Jaico Books costing Rs.795 for all the 3 volumes together.
If you want to understand brother.... Try to learn sanskrit... You will get the original meaning..... 😊 sometimes translation cant give you the exact meaning of what was said .....
