My 1st trip was Sept , 2001. Fell in love with the country. Said if ever I retire I would want to live here. Fast forward . 26 1/2 yrs at my job and they shut my department down then a month later the entire facility was shuttered for 13 months. I was 58 yrs old when I had finished up 99 wks unemployment while working part time at a Walmart in Illinois. Long story short we sold 2 vehicles, a big beautiful house , all our belongings and moved to the Philippines on the 9th anniversary of that 1st trip. Have not regretted a minute.

I agree 100% with you Randy. The US is not what it use to be for sure and doesn’t represent my moral values anymore. We are structuring our life now so that we too can move to the PH. By the way most of my time spent in the PH was in Davao at One Oasis, that back ground sure looks familiar lol. Take care, Jake
Buddy, in the Philippines there is greed and murder and scams and gays and trannies and corruption just like in the USA...but they all claim to believe in God. Funny how the faithful still sin so much.
I agree with you on all that. If I did not have family here, I would move immediately. I can say I like my job and that helps. I was military also and fought for a freedom that does not exist and getting worse.
Very interesting take on why leave the US. I completely agree with all you've said. Things are way different now than what it used to be. Wish I could have an early retirement and move back to the Philippines.

You mention as many do that the Filipino women are some of the best looking in the world. Today I spent time wondering about their looks. Since the Spanish were there for so long and their proximity to Asian countries, most people show the definite features of the cross between Spanish and Asians, with some Caucasian mixes. It's hard to find what the people looked like pre contact. Many Filipino women mention wanting to have kids with a Caucasian because of how beautiful the kids turn out. Thanks for a place to stick these comments.
Ya it’s true . When they reach18 or 20 yrs old and pretty, speak good English oh they join beauty contests they always won. Wonder why even the height if mix marriage always tall. Women here is only 5’3 or more.
I think the closest filipina Morena celebrity you can do a Google image search of Kathryn Bernardo and lovi poe. Most of the time they represent a mix lighter skin filipino filipina. Some European, Australian, Chinese, Japanese mix, etc.
Just a friendly advice since you are now living in the ph. Respect the people around you, this country is a melting pot of ideologies, beliefs, political affiliations, gender equality, conservatism and progressive movement. We dont shut down people simply because they stand opposite to us. I hope you can adjust to your new life and environment. Good day
Most of what you say is true. But.... I turn off the TV, go to a baseball game, then walk in the park. No problems here in Ohio. I know how to shop smart and eat well. I would never completely leave the USA... I hate illegal immigration, but there is a reason those people knowing risk their lives and ALL their money to cross the border.
What do you see at the ball game.If it's like the ones on tv it's a bunch of woke commercials and advertisements.Illegal immigrants. Most of them come here to bleed you dry via the US government programs. While those that have worked hard for decades watch their savings eaten up by inflation.Good luck.

Yep, good ole USA is going right down the toilet. I met my wife in the Philippines, she's from Bohol. If they only allowed medical freedom there we'd most likely be packing our bags and joining you.
So it sounds like you're a political refugee! The economics certainly make the Philippines more attractive, but not sure how long that will last with the increasing influx of expats from the more developed world. Looks like you are doing well! All the best
The younger expats go in the major cities. Those places already expensive to begin with, so no problem there. As for older expats, they go find places in rural areas. There's a ton of cheap property in the provinces, I doubt there'll be an upsurge of provincial prices because of expats any time soon.
You think women don't end their pregnancies in the Philippines? Yes they do...but they're forced to do it through back channels or do it by themselves.
Exactly!!! I have a lot of liberal relatives who treat me like dirt just because I have different viewpoints!! How is it that I can accept theirs with no problems???!!!
@@jeromeburdine966 Thats the biggest problem... the US has become 'liberals versus conservatives' and NEITHER side gives a damn about ALL the people in the nation. The civil war never ended.. it just moved from the battlefield to the congressional floor.

Thats the difference between PH and US. We still have the value to recognize your biological roots. that's why sometimes even gay get called as brothers and lesbian as sisters. they don't get offended as they know they respect them for being gay and lesbian but biologically your still a male and female.
Government in the USA is falling as well.
Has been since 2001
@@rediron44 since before then.
It has always been falling. Just depends on what side of the coin you fall on. I have NEVER seen the US government as good. And most likely never will as long as the same type people that were running the country at the start, are still in there making policies and decisions. Cannot heal a nation if you keep the same parasites in the system.
I hope U. S. GOVT WONT COLAPSE BECAUSE OF OUR PENSION. MY SSS AND U. S. NAVY PENSION ARE MY SOLE INCOME HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES.
I AGREE THAT THE U. S. SPENT TOO MUCH TO SUPPORT OTHER COUNTRY. U. S. ALSO TRANSFER MANY OF THEIR TRADE SECRET TO THE CHINESE. ALSO U. S. SHOULD STOP MINGLING INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF OTHER COUNTRY. LOOK AT IRAQ, AFGANISTAN, LIBYA, SYRIA, IRAN. LET THEM FOUGHT EACH OTHER, THEY ARE ARABS COUNTRY. AS LONG AS THEY DONT ATTACK ESRAEL

HOW MUCH U. S. SPENT AT IRAQ, AFGANISTAN WAR. TRILLION RIGHT. IT SHOULD SPENT AT HOMELESS PEOPLES.
WITHIN 10 YEARS CHINA, INDIA WILL OVERTAKE THE ECONOMY

First off, Thank You for your Service. In my humble opinion you are absolutely correct short only two issues. #1-They shouldn't be experimenting on people or animals. #2- There is no such thing as a perfect parent. You have those that try to various extents and others that just don't give a damn. Thank You for allowing me to express my opinion on your vlog.
hi Randy. i just came across your channel and this Vid. Outstanding articulation of whats happening (and whats wrong) in America. I have just retired from the USA rat race and am very tired of the situations in America. I have been eyeing the Philippines for the last 4 years, and plan to get there in the next year or so. thanks for sharing your Reasons !!
the ones born after 2015 . the kids, especially the ones with educated parents - have english as the first language. that is really exciting for the next generation of pinoys.
Where?

Excellent Video
Thank you for youre service , it means alot!
You are welcome.
Just subscribe from a Filipino American in Texas USA 🇺🇸. Enjoy and take care. Goodluck to your channel
So true, God bless you Sir
I agree 100% with you Randy. The US is not what it use to be for sure and doesn’t represent my moral values anymore. We are structuring our life now so that we too can move to the PH. By the way most of my time spent in the PH was in Davao at One Oasis, that back ground sure looks familiar lol. Take care, Jake
Buddy, in the Philippines there is greed and murder and scams and gays and trannies and corruption just like in the USA...but they all claim to believe in God. Funny how the faithful still sin so much.
Good list
Thanks for choosing Philippines and for appreciating everything here!
You are welcome. I subscribed to you as well. You surprised me Blank Space
Very well said.
I agree with you on all that. If I did not have family here, I would move immediately. I can say I like my job and that helps. I was military also and fought for a freedom that does not exist and getting worse.
I brought my family and my kids education System is better here too
Iam not from the US but i absolutely support your thoughts. All 20 points you named are similar to where i am from.Enjoy your time here in the PH
Thank you
Very interesting take on why leave the US. I completely agree with all you've said. Things are way different now than what it used to be. Wish I could have an early retirement and move back to the Philippines.
Hope you find life better here in my country, the Philippines, sir.
43%😳 Wow!!!
It'd getting worst and worst Here in the usa. Total mess
We have plan to go back in PH. Living in USA is not enjoyable like before. It makes my blood boils to see the demented president lies.
For those first time travelers to the PH. You have to lower your expectations. It's still a developing country but so westernized
It’s not lowering expectations but respecting the culture eg lifestyle.
I hear you big man I'm with you 100% your spot on Po . I'll be seeing you soon I hope it be my pleasure to have a cup of coffee or a cold one with you sir . I've been there a few times before covid changed the world stage. I'm like Gen McAuthor I shall return lmao 🤣. You can bank on it I love it there . Mabuhay Po Salamat 😊
Look forward to meeting you.
I'll have one on ice waiting for you
@Randy Bryant kamusta ka?? I hope well cool it sounds like a good time God bless & Mabuhay Po. /Ps make mine a Mig light I don't do Red horse lmao 😂 peace out bro see ya .
I agree with everything u said bro I've been sick and tired of the bull shit they do in America I wish I could move there as well
Sounds like you left because our Democrat Party who have destroyed everything. These are the same reasons I escaped about 7 months ago with my wife and 8 year old daughter and now live here on Bohol where my wife is from and sure glad I got out of there.
Did you revoke and denounce your USA citizenship? If your that glad you left (escaped) then you should never return. Remember there are millions of souls that would give their lives just to stand on US soil.
Very well said......Sir!
Thank you hope you subscribed
U r so right I'm leaving also
God bless you and your family 🇺🇸🇵🇭
Thank you. God has blessed me.
They are so beautiful because of the mixed blood
Ya it’s true . When they reach18 or 20 yrs old and pretty, speak good English oh they join beauty contests they always won. Wonder why even the height if mix marriage always tall. Women here is only 5’3 or more.
I think the closest filipina Morena celebrity you can do a Google image search of Kathryn Bernardo and lovi poe. Most of the time they represent a mix lighter skin filipino filipina. Some European, Australian, Chinese, Japanese mix, etc.
👍
Philippines is the place to be. I love BGC (Bonicafio Global City)
Lot of truth, Will you be returning for the Revaluation. Thank you for your service 🫡🇺🇸🇵🇭,God Bless, Enjoy your New Home, Belus Leyte Island.
How's your energy now?
Hi Randy, that was quite a list of grievances… seems like you took the advice of so many patriots and acted on "love it or leave it"
All true! Like it or not, it's all true...
I just subscribed thanks
Just a friendly advice since you are now living in the ph.
Respect the people around you, this country is a melting pot of ideologies, beliefs, political affiliations, gender equality, conservatism and progressive movement.
We dont shut down people simply because they stand opposite to us.
I hope you can adjust to your new life and environment.
Good day
Thank you. I love it here.
Just don't let the Liberals rule the country again.
Bryan, if u draw SSN at 62, and your kids are less than 18 yrs old you get over $2000.
I don't draw SS yet I'm not old enough
Too bad by Saturday I'll be in Davao in 4 days...
As observed in news and social media, living in US is like a man in an island,no neighborhood
I have a 12 yr old, I want him to go to school over in Davao, where can I send him, or a list.
There are plenty of places here or depends on what you want for him
Most of what you say is true.
While those that have worked hard for decades watch their savings eaten up by inflation.Good luck.
getting cheaper in Philippine's then usa . meet right woman she family and husband first. 89 % Christian ppl their and alot best beaches in world. see you randy in jan. retired in naga city .

what's the tagalog phrase for "uninformed red neck?

@Randy Bryant. Do you have to be jabbed to live there?? I heard it was very strict with mandates etc.
I had to be fully vaccinated to fly at the time i came came over last year if that's what you mean?
@@1hoosiersdreaminthephilippines Oh that's terrible. Not so free is it? New World Order sir, it's EVERYWHERE!!

thanks for your service, and i honestly like you ans have subscribed we have many similarities but are also bery different. 1st thanks for your service. 2nd I am a gay man that has raised 2 children and I know you love your son if one or both were gay , be careful. i can tell you lean republican and im independent leaning more Democrat since we suffered Trump and the lies that continue, i will call out any wrong no matter republican or democrat and i wish everyone would. lastly i can tell you love your wife and don't you tell me had she been raped or you and her been told she was going to die if she gave birth , you wouldn't trust Her and the doctor to make the best decision for her life. we can agree to disagree on many things and we can talk to each other about them but we must be willing to and agree to be honest and accept truths. I wish you and your beautiful family all the best and I think you made a very wise choice moving to a much safer less stressful environment. much love brother. ill be watching, you keep living and loving and spreading kindness.
Welcome to the Philippines!😎
WOW! you said right..all tru brothers..America has no God anymore.its okey to say and emonize Christian but not Islam and other religions.

I totally hear what you are saying. I am disgusted how godless America is becoming so it wore me down too.
Yes sir all the reasons i too dislike the way america is moving too, Well done good luck and God bless.
When you coming back to Davao??
I want to live in the U.S
But I heard medical care is not good at all in the Phillipines. ?
Medical care in the major cities is as good as the USA at a fraction of the cost
The expat in Davao region they go for gold nuggets 😂😂😂

You think women don't end their pregnancies in the Philippines? Yes they do...but they're forced to do it through back channels or do it by themselves.
listen to "trust in god" by Tom McDonald.. you might like that a bit
Thank you
actually it was "In god we trust"...
good song.. give it a chance. It resonated with me, and why I left the US for the PH 10 years ago
Well PUT!!!
Lots of reasons for leaving, that's for sure.
Just because someone doesn't agree with your views doesn't make them less valid
Exactly!!! I have a lot of liberal relatives who treat me like dirt just because I have different viewpoints!! How is it that I can accept theirs with no problems???!!!
To each his own. Don’t rain on others parade.
@@jeromeburdine966 Thats the biggest problem... the US has become 'liberals versus conservatives' and NEITHER side gives a damn about ALL the people in the nation. The civil war never ended.. it just moved from the battlefield to the congressional floor.
