Really impressed with the quality of your vlog, with drone footage and all. And the way you present our humble little country (and the locations you visit) is better than most commercially produced ads I have seen. Hope your Finnish Experience truly met your expectations.
@@pekkakarppi3068 why surprisingly? Have you seen the lines at Nuijamaa border crossing? Well, maybe not now, but during pre-pandemic times there were easily 500+ cars waiting to cross into Finland. Russians love Finland for so many different reasons. As for idiots - they live on both sides of the border.
If you like Moomins and ever end up near Turku / Naantali, you can actually go to the Moominworld for free and look around the park during winter when it's not officially open. It's not even trespassing, as it is an open area and the park people have even said that it's ok to go there. Not really worth the trip alone during winter (in my opinion), but something to go see if you end up around there. They do have a winter magic week usually during february when the moomins are "awake", it's mostly for kids but anyway.

Chad and Claire, enjoyed your adventurous trip to Finland. The video of the train ride aboard a Finnish train was very interesting. This video about Christmas, Finland blew me away!
Aloha guys, you popped up on our TV screen with "Swimming in the ice" and my wife and I have been binge watching ever since. Love your content. Keep up the good work!
Wow!! What an amazing village. Belongs in a hallmark movie. Breakfast looked great and loved the coziness of where you had dinner. So much fun there. You two are amazing and funny and always enjoy your videos and the pics you take. Have an amazing time there Stay warm and enjoy the sauna room in your cabin cant wait for next video. Just in awe on that little village. So gorgeous ❤️
Hi Claire and Chad, thanks for a lovely video again. You could be perfect to promote Finland for tourists. I love your positive way of talking. Enjoy your holiday 💕
love the ordament that you picked! I love those elves, they´re everywhere during the christmas season. I actually have three, a little one, a medium and a huge one. Their names are Tont, Tu and Ja wich spells out the finnish word for elves :D Im very glad you´re having such a good time here!
omg now that I discovered your videos (which are AMAZING!), you guys should come back in summer time and see how the sun shines all through night. You would love it. Waiting for your summer Finland videos :)
I needed a laugh and that one horn reindeer, poor fellow. I called them antennas when I lived in Montana and a hunter I worked with kept on laughing and laughing. I moved there from Vegas, oh well. Loved the video.
Wow. I appreciate how you are there to enjoy your stay overall and not just chasing the northern lights, which as anybody Finnish can tell you, is a fleeting chance. As a Finn, I've seen them a few times (living in the south of Finland), but the most surprising thing was at a bus stop in Tampere (which is south of Finland). One should not waste money to come to the Arctic to see nothern lights, but to have the time of one's life. Chasing perfection leads to misery. Living one's life in the moment creates happiness. Carpe diem!
As an Finn i have only visited Santa Claus Village once when i was a kid... This video made me think i should visit there again. Place is still looking great
Wow, very cool. So beautiful, nice cabin ! Loved the reindeer ride, wish we could have seen all the ornament shops . But I kn your on a time limit, kind of a bummer. I’m not a fish eater either, so guess I wouldn’t be eating much. Love the little man your going to diy to an ornament, very cute. As usual, thanks for the tour. I’ll never go to these places, so it’s fun seeing them through y’all eyes 😊
A male reindeer drops its horns beggining of winter and female before summer. (So all flying santas reindeers are female even Rudolf ☺️ ) have a nice trip here in Finland
Sorry, Marja. But nutered male reindeers drop their antlers very late in the winter. They also tend to have bigger antlers than the non-nutered ones. We call those as "ajoporo". On the downside those antlers are much weaker. It has something to do with hormones.
Any packing tips? We're headed here to do some filming and would love to have known what you packed! It looks like you only packed two reasonably sized suitcases & two backpacks. That is quite impressive! Especially with all of your camera equipment. Were you able to do laundry in your hotel rooms or what is your Finland packing secret? Lastly, we are soooo impressed with your editing! Well done, you.
Have you already tried fresh rye bread? :) Vaasan ruispalat is the most popular one that we finns eat on day to day basis. I think I might have some right now :D

Santa's village is very close to the airport, I'm surprised you are allowed to fly drones over the village in that area? Did you need special permission?
Its funny to think that theres over 3.3 million saunas in Finland and almost every house has a sauna and apartment buildings have community sauna or you might be lucky to have your private sauna
Sauna is supposed to enjoy naked, just saying. I live quite near the Santa Village but have visited it only twice. I guess when some things are so common they are not so interesting anymore. Last when I was there they were building those cabins where you are staying. I hope you´ll get to see some northern lights.
Nice video again, but I'm sorry to tell you that the arctic circle is not there where it's marked in that Santa Claus Village. In reality it's about 2 kilometers north from that and actually crosses the runway of the Rovaniemi airport :)
