21:58 Sabine blocking her back without looking while shooting in front of her was so bad ass. And I think Sabine became so capable in the force so quickly because she previously did not believe in herself or her ability, but now she trusts in the force, and in herself.
I also think that once you unlock the potential, it becomes easier to use and rely on it, she is open rather than blocked, she doesn't do anything OP either, she does some basic stuff but it works for her.

It took me a couple of watches but the ending was basically showing Anakin finally being able to rest. Luke brought him back to the light side but the unfinished baggage of Anakin's legacy was Ahsoka and her trauma before, during, and after order 66. I think Ahsoka was communicating with Anakin at the end before Sabine walked up as they both are finally at peace. Sabine sensing something shows she's finally tapped into her use of the force and ready to be fully trained. Ahsoka knew what she felt but didn't say yet. She looks to Anakin before walking away with the confirming nod and smile of approval. It's all in the facial expressions.
The Mortis Gods rockfaces had a spot where the daughter was supposed to be but the statue had collapsed symbolizing what happened in the Mortis Arc of the Clone Wars. Very cool symbology. And seeing Morai the Owl indicates that Ahsoka bears the mantle of the daughter.
What happened regarding the daughter in the Mortis arc again ?
@@vega6773the son attempted to murder the father so he can escape the planet,but the daughter quickly got in between to protect her father and took the dagger up her back which made her mortal and loose her powers and immortality meaning she was slowly dying,instead of loosing all her life force she gave it to Ahsoka who the son killed after getting the mortis dagger she snatched from kenobi and ressurected Ahsoka which could mean that the statue of the daughter that collaps symbolizes that Morai and Ahsoka Are now the daughter

21:45 thanks for acknowledging Thrawn in this scene, I’ve seen so many people watch this and take it as just he doesn’t care, but there’s such a clear regret or woe in his eyes. He clearly respects and appreciates all who work with/for him, and I liked seeing this moment.
This series is MAGNIFICENT! I absolutely love Sabine as a padawan that's not one of those overpowered jedi. She makes the perfect Mandalorian jedi because she has to compensate for her shortcomings with Mando training and anyone that doesn't like it could just not watch (like me with the sequels) 🖖😎👍
I don't believe Ezra was against lightsabers.. Ezra gave chop his saber in rebels just before he snuck away to face thrawn in the ending.. after that Sabine changed his saber to her style while training with ahsoka. I think Ezra just felt like that saber is Sabines now kinda like it was a gift and he just wanted a new one

That Sword the Great Mothers gave Morgan Elsbeth was the Blade of Talzin. Mother Talzin used it in Clone Wars when General Grevis killed the Nightsisters.

the entity whispering/calling to Baylan. The entity connected to The Father, Son, Daughter, and Morai. The description Sabine gives even hints/points to that entity and names associated with that entity.
Those two Death Troopers were already long-dead and turned into zombies 🧟♂️ before the other Night Troopers even died. _Literal_ Death Troopers 💀😰😱!

Justin is very emotional throughout, very refreshing to see the childlike reactions (it's a compliment) but one thing that makes Jane emotional is Anakin :)
I think this episode has some of the best lightsaber fights in the Disney Star Wars era!
In Mortis Gods story arc Anakin was offered to replace the Father. Maybe Baylan is drawn there to become the son and Ahsoka to become the daughter. Baylan wants to restore the balance /start anew - balance was off as the daugter was cast away (destroyed statue, Morai as owl - by saving Ahsokas life, she became her). But will Anakin become the Father or Baylan? Who will become the Son then? Shin? (Ahsoka as light side of the Force, Shin dark side? Anakin or Baylan in the middle - he was a lot neutral, neither Sith, nor Jedi. Anakin was both in the world between worlds).
Anakin couldn't be anything other than the father.

@AnakinSkywalker1 He's the only one that could control both the son and daughter in the clone wars animated series. That is something only the father can do, which is why he asked anakin to take his place.

It absolutely stuck the landing with this finale, making it a near perfect season of tv, while setting things up for a season two.
I give it a solid 10/10/. Amazing finale and a fitting end to a great show much like house of the dragon.

I think the only Sidious/Palpatine/Snoke reference in this New Republic Era so far was during the Shadow Council scene in Season 3 of The Mandalorian is Project Necromancer, led by Commandant Brendol Hux, which involves cloning. Also, those early failed cloning experiments of force users from Grogu's blood, that Mando, Cara Dune, and Greef Karga discovered at an Imperial Facility in Season 2.
Regarding Morgan Elsbeth's actress, Diana Lee Inosanto..... In relation to her fight scenes, I have a feeling that was her doing the choreography herself. She has a background in martial arts and has previously worked as a stuntwoman. Also, her godfather was Bruce Lee, with her father having been one of his students. I believe Shin will take on the role of Mara Jade.
Why do you think you are getting an “explanation” for every random character? Characters just exist sometimes. Like the guy in cloud city.
Everybody has background lore… that’s what makes Star Wars special..
Usually there’s canon books that help explain lore and all that. There’s book for all the movies and the sequals.

Kanan always said Sabine was closed off to the force. Her Master Ahsoka's faith in her helped her unlock it finally. Also great Tribute to Kanan at the same time showing his knowledge once again.
Episode gets a 8.8 season gets a 9 out of 10 but yeah Morai Showed herself she has something to tell Ahsoka.. Abeloth is stirring Queen of the stars mother of mortis for sure... Wish we got 12 episodes... onto loki

The night sister sword is not new ... There's an episode of the clone wars where she fights mace windu and conjures up that sword or something similar ....After they steal the light side of the force from whole bunch of people season 6 I believe I forget the episode It's right before the Yoda story arc... Also not all the Jedi were against Ahsoka If you remember after they voted Yoda says not all in agreement we are...
Great finale clearly setting up the rest of the mandoverse including the movie and the blade of Talzin refers to Mother Talzin as for Sabine having the force I think she's always had it she was just blocking it out and remember this could be in her bloodline cause she's clan Wren of House Vizla

I agree with Jane. Sabine didn't see or sense Anakin. She was drawn by something else, probably the same thing calling to Baylan. Most likely, The Mother, aka Abeloth.
This was fantastic. They were clearly planning on making Ray's character a big part of next season/the film, I'm gutted he's gone :(

I have watched a few reviews of this awesome episode. I can't for my life understand why people think the two dark troopers attacking Ezra and Sabine are "zombies." They are the same dark troopers from Mandalorian. They are robots, not the same as the dead troopers from earlier.

Thrawn still does not know at this point about what happened to The Empire or Palpatine or Vader. Thrawn did not seem to be interested in world domination (at least in the new canon novels) but made a deal with Palpatine to work with him and The Empire for his own reasons. Sometimes their goals aligned and other times they did not and Thrawn worked behind Palpatine's back to do what Thrawn wanted, but while still honoring his deal with Palpatine. So, I'm curious on what Thrawn will do once he finds out what ultimately happened to The Empire. I feel like we will be in for a twist and Thrawn may not be the Big Bad, after all. I like to think in season 2, either we find out Ezra somehow downloaded the coordinates and jump path so Hera can now go back to the other galaxy to get Sabine, Ahsoka and HuYang OR it will be revealed that somehow ever since Ahsoka and Huyang piggybacked with the Purrgils to the other galaxy, Huyang had been recording and already knows the coordinates and jump path the Purggils used so they can now make their way back. My understanding is once a jump path or course is plotted & has been used, anybody else can now traverse that same path, unless I am mistaken. I like to think Sabine accessing The Force was more about her learning how to do it the very first time and once she found that access point for her, driven out of complete desperation, she could always find her way back to the same access point. I use the crude analogy of a red dot on a shirt you never knew existed until somebody physically showed you where it was. After you first saw the dot yourself, you can never un-see it again and you seem to always see that dot every time no matter what. So, whatever caused Sabine to access The Force that first time, she can never forget that access point and can just keep accessing it more..

Have to admit, we didn't have a so much good combat choregraphy live action since Obiwan vs Maul and Obiwan vs Anakin. Even if Vador Vs Obiwan isn't bad it quite doesn't match this one

According to Nielsen Ahsoka Did not make the top 10. It got beat out by Suits, Who is Eron Carter, bluey, Grey's Anatomy, and NCIS in over all streaming. So Disneyland when they posted that Ahsoka was the number one streaming show. I guess I can say I have loyalty. Loyalty to George Lucas for the work that he has done. I was stupid enough to watch the sequel trilogy in theaters. But that was because I had no idea that Disney did not follow George Lucas's storyline. The second time I was jepped is when they brought in to skywalker and the finale of the second season of The Mandalorian. I am done with Disney Star Wars. I am just the fan of George Lucas's Star Wars and that is episodes 1-6 and The Clone Wars. Majority of the Star Wars fans left. I love the Star Wars original trilogy, The Star Wars prequel trilogy with no complaints, and the Star Wars remastered versions with no complaints. I did watch rebels when it was out. But after learning what I know now. I dropped rebels like a bad habit. All the thirsty fans can have the Disney Star Wars. The only way Disney can bring back a lot of the Star Wars fans is if Disney would get rid of the sequel trilogy. If Disney would have made George Lucas's versions of the sequel trilogy, then they would not be in such a mess.

Three women are the reason Anikan turned to the Dark Side of the Force, his mother, his Padawan and his wife. He never had a chance because they were all awesome and strong women.
For awhile I was hoping that The Armorer was Sabine's mother
well this was one sh1t episode. Damn all Balen and STILL, after 8 episodes, we have no idea of his motive. Is that great writing? No. 14 minutes in I was screaming that nothing was happening. Jesus, it was very frustrating to watch this one. And now Sabine's lack of urgency has rubbed off Ezra. He arrives on the ship and should be screming Thrawn is coming, but no. The finale was the erectile dysfunction of the season.
I wanted a dark side Sabine moment
Even just a hint of one would have been awesome.
