Nice! I ended up ordering the new Michael Myers one too. I love the one now but I'm wondering if in the long run it'll be too big where the new one would match the other four statues which would be ideal.

When it came to horror movies, some of my favorite ones were products of the '80's. Makes sense being that I graduated from HS in 1986. I can still remember seeing the promotional TV commercial for The Gates of Hell. The commentator was well known for being the "Voice" of so many of them. He had contracts with various movie production studios to promote their horror films. When my parents purchased our first VCR in 1985, one of the first movies I rented was Creephow (1983).
Thank you! I do the same thing. I watch any one I can come across. I am also redoing this room right now so hopefully soon I’ll have a new updated room tour.
You have some cool stuff. I don't really collect much beyond the movies. Themselves. However I do have the Universal Monsters Busts and a couple of posters . The best of those is a recreation of a Bela Lugosi movie called "Black Dragons". Thanks Richard. Great video .
Thank you Michael! This room is pretty packed and I am also redoing it so I hope I can do a new room tour video soon. Taking a lot longer than I expected as these things always do. Lol Very cool on those Universal Monsters busts!
Thank you so much!! I love the look of your home theatre. I was debating which way to go. I opted for this one mainly because currently I don't really have another room to display a lot of this so it became my home theatre/movie memorabilia room.
Awesome room Richard, you have so much cool stuff! It made me laugh that your projector screen exceeds the recommended size. Love the Bruce statue and the John Carpenter section. Thanks for showing the horror blu rays in such detail. Fantastic video!
Thank you so much HH!! I prefer how your movies are displayed so I am very much envious of yours. And the projector screen is a bit bigger than they recommend. Ironically I originally wanted one that was even bigger. Haha
This was enjoyable. It was like “Vague Ramblings: The Motion Picture”. Some random thoughts: I like that bluish-gray color the walls are painted. I wouldn’t mind watching all of the William Castle films in that box set I had no idea there was a Larry Cohen documentary (or even that he passed away!) Questions for the next Q&A: What movies do you most want to see made available…either for the first time, previously OOP, or on an upgraded format? Do you have any of the Aurora monster kits? (They seem like they would fit nicely in your room.) Before the current situation, how frequently did you attend special or retro screenings? I don’t know what city you are in but what is that scene is like there? Thanks, and see you on the next one!
Thank you Gary!! And you are right. I almost named it the Movie Room Tour Movie. lol The walls were painted that when I moved in. Seems to be a latex like paint which helps with light in the room but boy does it comes off easily. The Larry Cohen documentary is so good! It might even be streaming now. Unfortunately he did pass away last year. I was lucky to have met him. Great questions! I am planning to do the next Q&A video next week.
Very cool! One quick note about playing 4k discs through a 1080p projector: although the video is indeed downgraded, the audio is identical and in fact, some 4k discs come with Dolby Atmos tracks that are only found on the UHD disc and not the standard Blu-Ray. It may be worth investigating which discs have the exclusive mixes so as to get the best possible audio quality when watching a particular film.
Thank you!! And I agree. The audio boost is amazing. That's why I'm glad I can still watch stuff in my theatre room even if I can't get the full 4K picture. In fact I just got in the new 4K release of Top Gun with an Atmos track that I can't wait to hear. That is a movie that should sound so good in Atmos.
WOW 🤩 now that’s a great movie room very jealous . So much good things about it. Amazing figures, movie collection, posters, layout, movie screen and more. Such a great movie collection from all the great movie studios. This video needs to be this length just to show all the basics as you have so much in it. Thanks for showing it
Thank you!! And that means a lot. I tried keeping the video as short as possible but no matter what I did it was basically staying at that length. I even reshot almost half of it. Now if I can just get my wires under control. lol
Richard Diaz 😂 yes the wires are always a big pain. A room tour is always hard to film I want to do mine but it’s just a nightmare to do and mine is a small bedroom so I can only imagine what yours was like but you done a brilliant job.
Thank you!! I tried to see if I could hide some of those wires but it only made it worse. SO I figured if I featured it right away I could hopefully get the worst of it over. lol No room is too small. I'd love to see a room tour of yours!
Very cool 👍 I have a massive collection of Blurays, steelbooks and 4k's too as well as framed posters and collectables, but your collection easily makes nerds like me envious.
Thank you! I'm actually running out of shelf space so the piles are starting again. lol I'm going to start selling off some of them to make room. I love having the movies around the room but at the same time I have a lot of movies that I either have multiple copies of or ones I've bought and watched once and probably won't watch again. The problems are collecting. lol
Do you own “They Call Her One Eye” aka Thriller on Blu-ray or DVD? Was it ever released on Blu-ray? I just ordered the DVD on Amazon. I couldn’t find the Blu-ray.
I love the film. I do own the DVD. It has not been released on Blu-ray unfortunately. From what I've heard the director is making it impossible for it to get released on Blu-ray. I believe it has to do with an obscene licensing fee. There are two versions of the film. An R rated version and an X rated version. The X rated version has graphic insert shots (not of Christina Lindberg) during a couple scenes.
Thank you CC!! It took a long time but I finally got it up. I also know the mistakes to avoid when I get around to doing another one. I think I reshot half of this. And one segment I reshot twice. lol
@@RichardDiaz It's still an amazing effort for your first room tour video. Loved every minute of it and i wanted to be even longer in runtime! You have many great collectible pieces but that wouldn't mean a thing if they were crammed or wrong placed. But i must say that your set up (room set up that is lol) is perfect!
Thank you!! That means a ton! I spent so much time trying to get things where they are. A few things I will still move I'm sure but I was trying not to have it not looked too overcrowded but still have everything showcased in some way.
Thank you!! I was so happy when I finally got that screen. For the longest time at my old place I was just projecting stuff onto the wall. That was fine for me but when I got the screen it was like ok yeah I now know why it makes a difference. lol
Thank you so much! A lot of this is stuff I have collected over many years. I've never had a dedicated room like this before so it was nice to be able to actually display a lot of it.
My wife just told me that I misread your subscriber number. I thought you had 2000 and she said you have 2 million. The channel grew faster than I thought! Congratulations! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I will be doing a new room tour video in a few months. Doing some changes and upgraded the projector finally.
Heall yeah. Keep physical media alive! How many movies do you have? I am approaching 9,000 in mine! I was also in a Full Moon movie. And a producer on another!
Wow! I seriously bow down to your collection. That is amazing! I think between 4K, Blu-rays, and DVDs (a lot of which are still boxed up) mine is around 5-6,000. Though I'm thinning mine out a bit. I don't need multiples on every format and some movies were blind buys and I watched once and probably won't again. But I will always have a large collection. Physical media forever!
@@RichardDiaz that is still a very impressive collection. I have slowed way down the last month buying. I have only bought around 25 this month. The biggest problem? The more movies you have, the harder it becomes to find movies you don’t already own and might enjoy.... I have DVD, Blu Ray, Blu Ray 3D, 4K. And about 150 laserdiscs even!
@@hotgirlsarehot I don’t think quite yet. I have slowed down a lot this last month. I have only picked up about 1/5 what I normally would. It is getting harder and harder to find new movies I can justify buying. 🤷♂️ I should be there by March maybe?
@@DangerousDevilOfficial I know exactly what you mean. My buying has slowed down a lot. I also need to sell off ones I know I am just not going to watch again. Especially because I need more space. lol

wow you should do a how to book on making a media room/man cave (Your room just seems perfect) Simply awesome room/collection (You’re hardcore to have a Burial Ground Poster framed) 👍👍👍
Thank you so much! The room was actually already painted blue when I moved in. One of the reasons I wanted this place is because it came with, what they called, a "media room" but it had the essentials ready for a home theater. It is currently in transition so I hope I can do a new room tour in a couple months once it is done. The lighting was already there in the room. They are really just basic dimmable lights. In fact, I need to change some of the bulbs. lol But I did add some LED light strips around the bottom corners of the room just to help give it something extra.
@@RichardDiaz Well Richard, I have officially pre-ordered Second Sight's Dawn Of The Dead 4K Set, but have to spend a small fortune ordering it off an ebay seller because Second Sight's website did not do postage to me in Australia. I paid over $330 AUD, but am still glad to get it. Have you pre-ordered your copy yet?
Wow! I am so sorry you had to pay so much. All the more reason why I really hope this is the set we have all been waiting for. I did order mine! I actually have two on order. I have one ordered from Zavvi and one from DiabolikDVD. I may cancel the Zavvi one but for right now I'm keeping both. I have a few months to decide. lol
Those Martin Logan speakers are awesome! I actually heard an in-store demo, I think of the same model you have, back in the 90s. Wow, just spectacular sound. I've never heard anything so detailed and life-like. They have a quality that is unlike any other speaker I've listened to. I've heard placement is extremely important with them to get the best sound. Does the tonal quality of the Boston Acoustics and Klipsch speakers match them well?
@@paulwatford9443 I meant all things considered 🤣. It's really hard to properly display oddly shaped collector's items without making a huge mess. I'm having trouble with my display myself. 😥

What projector did you end up getting? In some of your newer videos it looks to be a Sony? Have you posted a video about it? If not I would definitely do one, because it's the foundation of your system. I just recently got the Sony VPL-XW5000ES. It's my 4th projector and the best one I have owned!
Having a room that size would be a dream for me.. some cool gear and an extensive film collection you have there..collecting some posters has become a bit of an addiction and no way I have the room.. Do you find having that space you collect more constantly??
Thanks!! Many years of collecting. Some of them I will be selling off but I still plan on keeping most of them. I love having them around me in the room.
Do you have any McFarlane figures? I have Snake Plissken, as well as The Crow, Sin City and more from back in the day, when they were putting stuff out all the time. 3-D album covers, 3-D movie posters (for Jaws, Robocop, Alien). Lost figures, Bob and Doug McKenzie, Slapshot. I loved that stuff.
I miss those so much! I wish they were doing more. I do have have some of them but I missed out on a lot. I wish I had some of those 3D posters. A lot of the figures I have are still boxed up from the move. I feel like I'll never be fully unpacked.
Thank you! I realized after the fact that I didn't even show it on really. When I do the updated room tour I will be sure to showcase the screen more with something playing.
The lights! what lights are they i need them in my life....ok not so much my life definitely my movie room, which incidentally i'm about to start gutting out in the morning, the thoughts of starting it, it's just horrifying right now! I can't even see the floor for all of the stuff that's in there , I haven't seen my brother in a month I think he walked in there by mistake and he just cant find his way out, it's possible. anyhow love the lights and i would love some details on them if you got the time, cheers dude.
Hahaha I hope you find your brother! I feel your pain. I am redoing aspects of this room and it is now a mess again. Movies and stuff everywhere. While it won't look drastically different the movies and some of the statues will be different. Which lights are you asking about? The ones on the wall were already in the room so I can't help much there unfortunately.
@@RichardDiaz Those blue lights, they kinda look like LED's , They look awesome , I'm just trying to pick up ideas hear and there. Ohh i'm sure my brothers fine , i just keep tossing bread in there , Let it never be said that I don't look after him :)

Would like to see more of your Andy Warhol's Frankenstein and Andy Warhol's Dracula Blurays. Couldn't see them that well because the room looked too dark.
Great room and collection! I actually watched the whole video lol. I know this is a 8 month old video but I’m curious about your room size. I’m looking to change one of my bedrooms into a movie room. My room is 12x12 and I thought it was a little small to convert.
Thank you so much! I actually tried making the video shorter. I even reshot some of it but it still turned out kind of long. I hope it wasn't boring. lol I don't remember the exact dimensions but I want to say it's about 15x19 or so. I have seen a few videos on here of people turning somewhat small rooms into really nice home theaters. I think you can make a really awesome one with the room.
Initially I checked dislike due to no wire management and the gear should have been a little more hi end to mirror the wealth of movies! But I can’t not compliment the SUPERIOR collections, his knowledge of his inventory and the SUPREME ORGANIZATION of his collection, that supersedes anything else! His organization speaks to his passion and the education he’s gained to show himself credible! At the end of the day, this guy overwhelmed me and well done sir! 👏🏾

I did just upgrade the projector which was long overdo. I am going to do a video on that soon. Now I can watch 4K in there! A huge expense but very much worth it.
That is a tin of the original poster I got from Spirit Halloween a year or so ago. They tend to have a few of them. I remember seeing them this past Halloween too. I have puck lights behind the statues that I got from either Home Depot or Lowes which is giving off the light.

I know this video is old, but the room looks great. Do you have an updated video of your room?
When it came to horror movies, some of my favorite ones were products of the '80's. Makes sense being that I graduated from HS in 1986. I can still remember seeing the promotional TV commercial for The Gates of Hell. The commentator was well known for being the "Voice" of so many of them. He had contracts with various movie production studios to promote their horror films. When my parents purchased our first VCR in 1985, one of the first movies I rented was Creephow (1983).
Awesome room bro,if I had a bigger space it would be something like this.
These movie room tours are my latest rabbit hole. Cool room bro.
Looks great! Lots of props and movies. I like!
Some random thoughts:
I like that bluish-gray color the walls are painted.
I wouldn’t mind watching all of the William Castle films in that box set
I had no idea there was a Larry Cohen documentary (or even that he passed away!)
Questions for the next Q&A:
What movies do you most want to see made available…either for the first time, previously OOP, or on an upgraded format?
Do you have any of the Aurora monster kits? (They seem like they would fit nicely in your room.)
Before the current situation, how frequently did you attend special or retro screenings? I don’t know what city you are in but what is that scene is like there?
Thanks, and see you on the next one!
Thank you Gary!! And you are right. I almost named it the Movie Room Tour Movie. lol
The walls were painted that when I moved in.
Very cool 😎 room, you have an amazing collection of movies, you have 4K, Blu-Ray & DVD 📀
Thank you so much! I'm still making updates to the room so I will do an updated room soon.
@@RichardDiaz you are most welcome
Great room man!! Lot's of awesome stuff!!
Super collection !
Thank you! But I bet you have collectibles and posters that would make me so jealous.
Your opening montage was beautiful!!! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much! I am currently redoing the room so once it’s done I will do a new room tour. I plan on doing a new cinematic opening too.
You have the best movie collection I’ve ever seen!
I noticed synapse has two different DVD’s with different packaging? Is it different versions?
I’ve never seen the film. I’m looking forward to watching it.
Amazing room and video Richard!!!
Wow! Very nice man! LOVE that theatre screen!! Awesome stuff my friend!👍👍
Thank you!! I was so happy when I finally got that screen. For the longest time at my old place I was just projecting stuff onto the wall. That was fine for me but when I got the screen it was like ok yeah I now know why it makes a difference. lol
lets take a shot every time he says this is not suppose to be here
Again, another great video. I dig the whole setup man. Very well done👍
Thank you Dylan!!
Awesome collection! I can only dream of having a collection like this. Thanks for showing us!
Thank you so much! A lot of this is stuff I have collected over many years. I've never had a dedicated room like this before so it was nice to be able to actually display a lot of it.
Looking forward to your channel growing. Keep at at it. You're a natural
Thank you so much! You literally just made my day!
My wife just told me that I misread your subscriber number. I thought you had 2000 and she said you have 2 million. The channel grew faster than I thought! Congratulations! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
THAT'S ALL YOU GOT😁 JUST AWESOME BRO😎 KEEP AT IT..🎥🎬 🎞 .
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I will be doing a new room tour video in a few months. Doing some changes and upgraded the projector finally.
Great Video, but I didn't see the movie " Trilogy of Terror" and the doll which you probably have anyway. I love your collection!
Thank you Jean! I actually don't have the Zuni doll replica and it bugs me all the time for not getting one a few years ago. Now they go for a ton.
@@RichardDiaz You'll get it one day no worries. Love your collection!
@@pattymam11 Thank you so much! And I hope so. I'm always keeping an eye out for one.
Are you OVER 9000?!!
Especially because I need more space. lol
Great inspiration. Thank you for posting!!!
Thank you so much! I'm planing to do an updated video soon once the changes to the room are done. Nothing major but a few upgrades and some redoing of collectibles.
wow you should do a how to book on making a media room/man cave (Your room just seems perfect) Simply awesome room/collection (You’re hardcore to have a Burial Ground Poster framed) 👍👍👍
One thing though i wish you had an antique of ET the extra terrestrial cos i luv him too and the movie too but still your collection was great
One of the best man caves I have ever seen. Felicidades 🎉 What kind of lighting are you using? That blue environment ❤
Whoa. I love the Neca stuff, compliments the room so much!!
Thank you so much! I'm actually redoing some of the smaller shelves to feature more of the Neca figures. Once that is done I'll do an update video.
Richard very awesome movie collection / cinema room. I have nothing compared to you, keep collecting buddie! It can only get better!
Thank you so much!! And I bet you have stuff that will no doubt make me extremely jealous.
I have a few months to decide. lol
OMG DUDE SO AMAZING ENVY LOL WONDERFUL. MY ROOM IS NOT AS GOOD AS YOU'RES BUT IT'S IN WORKINGS.
Thank you! No need to be envious. I bet you have things in your collection that will make my jaw drop.
Amazing movie room! There's a lot of stuff, but it doesn't seem cluttered. It's true that as collectors, the room's status is always Work-In-Progress.
You must have only watched the opening credits! It’s a cluttered mess.
@@paulwatford9443 I meant all things considered 🤣. It's really hard to properly display oddly shaped collector's items without making a huge mess. I'm having trouble with my display myself. 😥
@@theunboxingshow5461 lol! I actually changed my opinion and made another commented. The expertise/knowledge of the product, and the passion and COMMITMENT to the craft(not to mention the pristine order in which the product is housed), a few cords here and there are DEFINITELY overridden! This is worthy of high praise and I actually owe an apology for my first comment!
@@paulwatford9443 No offense taken! 😅
That Creeepshow Pillow!!!!!!!!! I want one.
I got it from Creepy Company. I also got the Creepshow and Halloween throw blankets from them too.
Great collection & set-up 👍
Thank you so much Jayzee!!
You have an excellent looking collection of blurays! Some were hard to see since the room looked a bit too dark at times.
Nice job. That's a cool room
Thank you so much! It's even starting to change a little. Might have to do an update video in a month or so.
That's beautiful! I adore your facility. 😮
Thank you so much! That means a lot!
Stellar room!!
Gorgeous! 😍
The screen is jaw dropping!
Excellent ! You posted the perfect movie room. So tired of seeing ninja turtles and he-man in other posts. The Disney sleepy hollow is my favorite Halloween movie too.
looks awesome dude.
Thank you so much! A few changes have been made, and are being made, since this video so I’ll have to do an update video once everything is done.
Love your statues. What scale are they. C3PO, R2D2, Pinhead, Freddy, Jason and Leather face? They look huge. Are they 1:6 scale? I know you’re Michael Meyers is 1:3 scale.
Thank you Dan! I believe they are all 1/4 scale. The R2 and 3PO ones I'm not sure if it's exactly 1/4 but I think close. The Michael Myers one is 1/3 and huge. Haha
Killer collection !!! 😱
Thank you so much! I’m hoping to get the updated video up soon. Making some changes but I did not expect it to be as much of an undertaking as it it is turning into. Lol
That looks like neat blue seawater glowing below your Jaws shark! :)
Such a cool design they did on that to give it a water look. I have a light behind it that helps show off the translucent effect.
You need a separate room for your movies and memorabilia because it's way too jam packed and busy in that room. You have a lot of very cool things.
You have an awesome collection, just subbed
Thank you so much!! It is really nice to finally have a room I can actually showcase this stuff. I have never had a dedicated room like this before. I might have gone a little overboard putting this in here but it was worth it. lol
Would like to see more of your Andy Warhol's Frankenstein and Andy Warhol's Dracula Blurays. Couldn't see them that well because the room looked too dark.
I will do a follow up video. Some of that stuff I will pull out so you can get a better view of them.
awesome collection!
Thank you so much! I already made a few changes which I show in an updated room tour video.
Just Awesome ! 😀 🏆 🥇
Thank you so much! There will be an updated one soon too. A few new upgrades.

Thank you so much Paul! That really means a lot. And you are not wrong about the wire management and gear. Some of the gear is mixed between older gear and newer. Definitely upgrading as I go. I did just upgrade the projector which was long overdo. I am going to do a video on that soon. Now I can watch 4K in there! A huge expense but very much worth it.
At 30:35 what is behind the sideshow Jason lit up? Is that a poster of the original or just the movie cover for the original?
That is a tin of the original poster I got from Spirit Halloween a year or so ago. They tend to have a few of them. I remember seeing them this past Halloween too. I have puck lights behind the statues that I got from either Home Depot or Lowes which is giving off the light.

Great collection but you need a bigger room for it all. Small rooms don't usually work for big collections. Though it is done very well.
Thank you so much! I agree completely. I have one other room I am trying to clean out to hopefully move a lot of this stuff to. One of my goals this year is to get the other room ready. Hopefully when I do the next video it will look a lot less cluttered. I also finally upgraded the projector which I will be doing a video on soon too now that I have had it for a few months.
Awesome collection man and just a question what is your favorite movie??? Have a great day and keep up the great work (:

Question if you don’t mind. How much was It for the projector, screen and all equipment to fire it up in total? Thanks and liked video!!
All I know is I buy music and movies on Kindle and all of it disappears. I go to my DVDS and they NEVER let me down. The kind of convenience I need is having the hard copy!
