Yep. Overall Skip is a good dude. I do root against him and his takes MOST of the time 😂 but when he's right I'm feeling it and adore him but when he's wrong it's quite painful to me but tough, that's how Skip is and flaws and all I accept him....a good painful dude.☺️

I don’t think y’all understand. Stephen A. is NOT thrilled at the decisions made by ESPN. He’s either using this as he gets closer to negotiating a new contract or setting the stage for showing why he may eventually leave.

Great points! The thing is though, Disney, ESPN, First Take (Stephen A) hit the lottery with Shannon Sharpe! I’m not sure who’s idea it was to only have him on for two days a week which I think they’ll realize is a mistake but if they get it right, they’ll be fine. It does seem like Molly is putting herself more in the Joy Taylor role from Speak so that’ll be interesting to see once Shannon gets there.

Skip being the moderator is just odd. It’s not as good as Shannon and Skip’s chemistry but the new show is not bad. All three of the contributors are knowledgeable and seem to have decent chemistry that can develop over time

I love the chemistry. Skip is brilliant for bringing the dream team together. I love having 4 guys talking sports and Skip moderating, Jen was good, but it flows better with Skip. Man Skip really is brilliant. First Take should do something similar, I've been tired of Molly for awhile

It's clear as day when she has an attitude towards my man, her voice, demeanor, body language. She has gotten much better other the years, she use to have that spiteful look on her face regularly. I agree that she is very talented and smart and beautiful, but her attitude tunes me out of watching first take which use to be my fav sports show. Stephen A is still my fav, so I just tune in to listen to his talk show/podcast on YT. To be fair to Molly, I would still watch First Take if Max was there, I don't like Stephen A selections in hosts and guests, he's like MJ drafting players 😂

ESPN/Disney didn't fire Irvin. Irvin never worked for ESPN. He was a special guest of First Take. Irvin was working for NFL Network, not Disney.

I really enjoyed the new Undisputed. It was refreshing to see a group of completely different personality types, and Skip actually moderate, not try to take shots at his co hosts. Regardless if he was intimidated or shouted over, he was behind the scenes a bit.

Idk what made me start listening to Stephen A. Smith. The guys in my family always watched his show but I was never interested...UNTIL I just happened to click on his podcast about some recent shootings in current events. However, admittedly, I do find Sherman hypnotic bc of the contrast on and off field. But I like both because it's not everyday, atleast where I'm at, that you get to listen to such well-versed objective opinions spoken by such smart and articulate African American men💯💐

I am happy to hear SAS give Richard Sherman's brilliance credit. He graduated from Stanford with a 4.2 GPA all while playing football and if I recall correctly, other sports too. Also, what happened to The Playmaker was one of those instances of guilty until proven innocent. ESPN never had him on air again and was booted off during the Super Bowl week's festivities/coverage.
You can't graduate Stanford with a 4.2. They don't use a numbered system. Sherm is still incredibly smart.

Stephen does a lot of quantifying before he makes his points. The only reason I find this odd is because I feel like he's the type of man whose reputation precedes him and who doesn't have to preface his stance as much as he does.
