Hey Alex, I'm excited to see a series focused on ComfyUI tutorials geared for VFX artists. I feel like your approach would emphasize actual utilities for AI in VFX
I'd like you to follow whatever path is most rewarding to you so you can continue to do this. So if adding comfyUI videos makes your channel more visible or popular thus helping you grow...go for it. Also, if you do add getting started videos (in comfy or pinokio ) you'd have rounded out the whole VFX beginners + pro's audience. WIN-WIN. I'm comfy with comfy, but I can see Pinokio winning over after having a module for comfy-UI. An analogy would be back in the day some of us in vfx got into linux and compiling the OS became second nature. With windows you'd just focus on the creative side and start using the software. So yeah i'd rather stay in comfy vs moving to pinokio but I'll eventually my artists would much prefer to work within pinokio . Cheers and love the stuff you put out here.
Thanks for your comment. I think now that comfy will have a standalone installer (coming soon) will be a good place to start from scratch and onboard people that are interested.
@@alexvillabon good to know. I still feel a gradio based UI workflow will be what 80% of your (future ) viewers will be comfortable with. So if viewership count becomes a priority in the future then Pinokio will be the way to roll. cheers, b
yes would be really awesome for vfx focus will be amazing. i was thinking of using comfy for makeup and fixing face textures . so would like to see your take
Looks like another Tencent rollout. I’ve been advised that they have legal verbiage that makes this illegal to use in for-profit work. Possible you could confirm or deny for us?
Thank you a lot. Best video.
Very cool!
I am in the same learning curve, a vfx focussed comfyui series would be a blessing!!! 100% support it

cool
Created a render pass WF with this included. This is the absolute but depth I've seen. Need to figure out how to convert it into normal
Thanks for sharing. Is the reason for requiring VRAM due to the model evaluating the entire video to maintain consistency for each frame?
I imagine it's a mixture of things, context window being a big one which is what makes temporal consistency work.

@@iamimpress I let everyone do their own research on that front. Giving a definite answer would be irresponsible of me since Im not a lawyer.
