- It's what "Class Racing" is all about. In Stock and Super Stock if you are paired up against a car of the same weight break, it is run as an old fashioned first to finish line with no handicap starts or breakouts. They are somewhat rare but Chad Loge had two of them in a row, first against Jon Irving in a '71 Dodge Demon and then against Randi Lynn Shipp in a '67 Pontiac Firebird.

That wide angle shot of Chad and Randi in the water box was just beautiful!
When people say, "Stock is just a glorified bracket race", I say this is the glorified part! Separates the fast from the furious! LOL! She is prettier! All Mopar on that last one. Thanks Bobby.
You can see how much these guys respect one another. Icing, chilling, changing out seats to lose a little weight because 3-5 hundredths is the difference
That is great when he cheered that she was not pulling on him! That is what the competition is about
Awesome video Bobby, blending outside with the in car. Great coverage all weekend!!!
Damn, those cars are the absolute tit's! Thanks for another home run video my friend, Semper Fidelis.

So awesome to see Dads car kickin ass live on!
We did a full interview also. It will be out in a month or so.
@@driverinterviews Will it be out soon? Thanks
Yes Tomorrow!
It is up. I was trying to find our old message. This was your dad's car for 50 years?
@@driverinterviews It was he bought it in 72 I believe.
They must be allowing some modifications because I don't care what you say. A stock 340 back in 69 did the 13s. So it has to be more than tire technology. If it's Stock you can't use anything that wasn't factory specs.
Any cam duration, any valve spring as long as no head machining required. They are getting them to rev now. Anything beyond that is cheating lol.
@@driverinterviews These guys are all doing head porting. Probably acid porting or spray welding to cover up porting.
Headers, ported intakes, lightened rotating assemblies, have to be close to stock valve lift but can be wider duration and custom LSA. Many do minor head porting but cover their tracks and make it look sand casted. I saw a super stock 400 pontiac being built many years ago and this guy did all of the above. Ran low 11s with 8.8-1 compression in a 3600 lb. 1974-75 firebird.
Closer to 14s
Yippie De Loge!!
Got some Doors!
He cheated, he raised his fist.
Hahah
Those launches left nothing on the table.
