I was seriously hoping you would catch the darn thing using level 8 gear as I have tried to do so since 2016! There are just so many other species that go for the small minnows and the #3/0 hook, especially the walleye. I mean, normally I am thrilled to get walleye, but when you're on a mission to get the Uni Chains, they can be a bit irritating. Earlier this year, I had gone back to the lower level fisheries and had discovered how many improvements and changes they have made to the environments as well as the AI, so I have been revisiting those old locations to test my old spots, especially for the Uniques. For the most part, they have not changed too much, however the species do seem more dispersed than they used to be, which is more realistic! I am getting ready to head to the Ghent-Terneuzen Canal next to see how much has changed. I will try to be more conscious of testing the old spots with level-appropriate gear as I did with Rocky Lake. Good luck with the Unique Sauger. Their original position has changed somewhat, so just keep at it. They were even trickier than the Unique Chains!
You're correct about 4/0 being level 18 (for cash, excludeing club points and bait coins). Large Minnows however isn't until level 26 though for bait coins or level 31 for cash.
@@dylanchain6036 True, but both walleye and pickerels bite well on medium. I just have way more fun that way, pikes fight, walleye you just reel in. Thanks for tip anyway dude.

Have found that if you drop the speed a notch when relling a strong fish, they don’t fight as hard to draw out line
the shiners are a must now after the last change Small minnows just dont work no more :(

Can try trouts, Rocky or Falcon but walleye just pays better. Tbh, Emerald pays better than Everglades.
