I love this fish because it gives a decent fight, isn't too rare that you never see it and pays very well per fish. Basically a middle ground between the rainbow trout and cutthroat. It looks amazing too
@@BoAngles I have barbless hooks on, I'm guessing maybe I am at the wrong spot. The golden trout are tough to catch. But I saw on Reddit this lake has issues with multiple fish completing the mission. I'll keep trying with different barbless lures it says.

If you have them unlocked- you just need to purchase them in the store. You can upgrade your inventory by buying larger tackle boxes or a vest- which will allow you to put more tackle from your ‘home’ into your ‘backpack’ or whatever terms they use. I’m not sure what lures are available at 5, but make sure to save some of your mission bait coins to buy unlimited licenses and lures you can only buy with bait coins later on

We had a 20inch trout irl that we lost. A foot off of the bank, you could see it swimming . It was a rainbow btw

Yeah I was at his live stream and I meant to say golden but for some reason it switched to Rainbow so my first unique was a 5 pound golden trout

What level do you have to be on to be able to use lures? I’m on level 5 and I have them unlocked but I can’t put them in my inventory.
