Big fan of Buffalo! Not so much of the Taurus. Fun gun but a company that won’t stand by their rebate makes me think they won’t stand by their warranty either...
You're not alone in your thinking. I have heard from many others with the same sentiment. I have not dealt with their customer service so I can't say one way or the other. My shooting buddy had to send in his Rossi lever action and they replaced the gun with one of his choice but it did take them several months for turn around. That was probably 5 years ago. Are they not honoring their rebate? I sent mine in a couple of weeks ago for this firearm (50 bucks) and haven't heard anything back BUT it did say 6-8 weeks so I wasn't expecting anything just yet. Thanks for watching my videos William. I appreciate the comment.
What ammo is everyone having good luck with? Out of my TX22 with Remington golden bullet I'm having quite a few hiccups even paying very close attention to how I load the mags.
I'll admit that I'm a little surprised, I figured the first one would just barely go thru but didn't think it would go all the way and thru the water jug ! Don't know if it's still there but there used to be a place you could take windshields like that to get recycled where I live. Do you have something like that around you ? Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
I was surprised that the .22 #12 stayed as tight as it did. I haven't shot one in 40 years at least. I wonder what a shot shell in .44 Mag with #9 shot would do to the windshield? I've always thought that the rifling would cause spiraling like a spiral galaxy rather than a shotgun like pattern. I've loaded them but never pattern tested them. I tried a 165 gr .44 on a wad on 150 gr of #9 shot on a wad over powder. Not good past 50 yards but interesting, accuracy at 25 yards is basket ball groups. I played with.410 plastic wads for kicks as well.
Loved that little test. I know for a fact that there would be no chance of that windshield lasting beyond the first day at my range. By the calendar I may be all "growed up", but when it comes to wrecking stuff (especially with firearms) I'm worse than a little kid. Of course when I was all done destroying it I'd be cursing myself out for making such a big mess for me to clean up. *:-)* Well take it easy man. Thanks for the video. :)
Just purchsased a tx 22 two days ago. Thanks for the windshield test i was wondering about this very thing. How does it spit out them stingers? Got quite a few of em.
I thought it might do a little more as well.... this is why it's interesting to do these things, I don't know the outcome until I try. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Look, I don't aim to make everyone happy. If I did I'd end up making myself unhappy and that's not worth it for me. I set it up the best I could and went with it.
Cool video. I love anything related to the TX-22. I've got a Canik TP9 SFx to run drills, and courses with. But, the TX-22 is my dedicated practice pistol. Best training .22 pistol made, in my opinion. I always miss slightly "left" on my misses, with a handgun. I find that if I apply more pressure with my support hand(left hand), and use more trigger finger, that I can usually remedy it, but I would love to hear your opinion on why I sometimes miss left. Thanks, bro.
Well, you are already implementing the things I would have suggested (more trigger finger). I have found that I shoot some pistols to the left myself. My Glock 34 is a prime example. When I miss with that gun it's almost always to the left even after bumping my rear sight to the right a little.
Awesome buffalo ,and tell me again that them things can't kill you . I know you know they can ,but sometimes people say crazy shit😆😆😆. Especially if you got 10 rounds.

25 yard basketball sized groups would be a useful load!
👍
Loved that little test. I know for a fact that there would be no chance of that windshield lasting beyond the first day at my range. By the calendar I may be all "growed up", but when it comes to wrecking stuff (especially with firearms) I'm worse than a little kid. Of course when I was all done destroying it I'd be cursing myself out for making such a big mess for me to clean up. *:-)*
Well take it easy man. Thanks for the video. :)
I know exactly what you mean! LOL I am a kid in my 40's now!!! ;)
I love the way he says stinger - sounds like 'stangur' lol
Yeah. That's what I said. Stanger. Just like those digits on my hands are fangers.
Funny, I heard stinger. But, that could be I was the resident translator in West Virginian, Kentuck, and Tennessean in my previous life in the USAF.
Just purchsased a tx 22 two days ago. Thanks for the windshield test i was wondering about this very thing. How does it spit out them stingers? Got quite a few of em.
Looks like you got one of Rick's shirts on. I'm wanting one of those 22's
Yep that's a genuine Rick Netherly original! I wear it with pride. This Taurus has really impressed me!
Now we're havin fun!!!

HAHA! They'd have me knocked off within the first 2 weeks!!! I'd shake some stuff up!
I'd have your back. Things need shook up......😎😎
That was something. I figured it would at least break the glass. Not just those little chips. Good video thanks Buffalo
I thought it might do a little more as well.... this is why it's interesting to do these things, I don't know the outcome until I try. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
More like a box truck or semi with that limited tilt on the glass.
Look, I don't aim to make everyone happy. If I did I'd end up making myself unhappy and that's not worth it for me. I set it up the best I could and went with it.
Shooting the .22 bird shot isn't doing the rifling in your pistol barrel any good...!
Speaking of shot shells, It would be interesting to see how the 38 with snake shot vs the newer 38 with #4 shot compared .
Those shot shells are weak. Nice firearm. Thanks for the informational video my Kentucky brother.
They sure were! I didn't expect much from them but I did think they would do more than that.
Man i wish they would make that in 22 mag! Nice! Good video! Watching from south central KY!
I wonder what look they had at the dump when he took that windshield in containing mysterious holes in it...?? Cops called...??
The guys at my local dump actually save me stuff to shoot! They watch the channel.
Hey Buffalo, How do you like the TX compared to the S&W 22 compact? I've been looking at these for a while.
Great video as always! And just and FYI: I get notifications right away when you upload your videos.
THanks for letting me know! I have had many complaints from folks not getting theirs. Someone else mentioned that the email notifications could be going to their spam folders. I wish I had mentioned that.
Thanks Buffalo. Great job. Good info. Don’t haul it off, there’s room for a lot more holes. : (
Great video Buffalo I’m way older than you and can’t shoot like I use to but I sure love my Taurus Tx 22 it eats all the cheap bulk ammo I feed it.i subscribed to your channel because you are honest and give honest reviews and that means a lot to me Thanks VOTE TRUMP 2020
jeff robertson welcome to the channel! Glad to have you here. The Taurus TX22 is a good pistol. One of my favorites to get out and shoot.
