❤❤❤❤❤❤ can you please show us how you make your fried bread? Using the bread plate as a cutter is an ultimate hack!! Your cooking/perserving, knowledge and love/respect for the Ocean and Earth is so lovely n refreshing to watch. Also how you speak te reo and translate for us non maori is powerful and i love it. Pray your channel prospers and manifesting for your own tv show🥰
tāpuakiʻi koe pea ʻofa ke ke tuʻumālie apologies if my spelling or choice of words are slightly incorrect but “bless you and may you be prosperous” I will certainly make the fried bread and include in one of the videos! ❤️

Thank you kōrua, I look at your acknowledgement not only of the channel and pleased you both enjoy, but also of the Naki, Waitara acknowledgement, where my Mama is from Ngāti Ruanui, Taranaki Hardcore. Mauri ora 😊

Ngā mihi e hoa, thank you so much as you have highlighted one of, if not the ngū for why we do what we do…Kai a te Rangatira koina Te Reo o ā tatou Matua Tupuna. Kia kaha Koe ki te ako I te Reo Rangatira. It may take more than one go and you just might fail but continue to fail, but fail forward rise to the challenge. One way of embracing Kai Sovereignty me mohio ai Kia Koe tou Mana Motutake ❤️
Thanks for the sub, I have many times watched your content and have thoroughly enjoyed, recall clearly when you both were in my home takiwa 'Waihau Bay"...nga mihi
Tena Koe, 😊 using initially a small grinder, sander/s then a dremmel with the occasional hand sanding, as you are likely aware you have to be really careful as parts of the shell have various thickness. Ideally a wet sander works a treat! Hopefully that’s helpful 😊 we finished ours with a marine grade lacquer!
Marine grade lacquer really is a vanish quality, we selected this grade more for how robust it is that it can withstand the natural elements and or being handled roughly by our tamaiti 😊 prevents cracking and chipping
My whanau started watching your channel we love it everything you do ❤ thank u 🙏🏽
Ngā mihi from my whanau to yours thank you 🙏

Marine grade Lecquer korero mai

Aroha mai also recommend you wear a mask and goggles (safety first) 😊
