100% agree. And Love your videos, dude. Been a loyal fan for a long time and glad your still dedicated to this channel. I can't wait to see more stuff. Also, I really liked Sinister. Very atmospheric and more of a character study than a shock fest. I got to meet both the director and writer and they were really nice. It really had a Shinning vibe to it with the whole writer being obsessed and haunted house. And it was surprisingly funny in parts, with the deputy.
MeMovieNight, just from seeing this video today compelled me to check out Megan is Missing. I just finished watching it, and I am just shocked. As a horror fan, this is the first time I have ever felt so disturbed and disgusted with watching a film in a long time. This really now has left a permanent mark in my conciseness. To just hear about these tragic incidents is one thing, but seeing it unravel before you is a whole 'nother experience.
Great video MrMovieNight, I personally am not a big horror fan there are the few that I do want to see but they are really just the classics, that need to be seen. I have never watched Megan's Missing and I think I would have nightmares if I did by the way you described it, I think the fact that because this stuff actually happens makes it even more terrifying. I will definitely be staying away from that film but very interesting video it was nice to hear your thoughts on it.
And thanks for the reply! I almost stopped watching Salo halfway through, but I was with my friends and had to preserve my man card. I highly recommend you watch Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer if you haven't seen it already. Keep making awesome videos!
Good video bro, glad to see you make more videos. Sinister i can´t wait to check out. Megan is missing is one i wanna watch for sure now after hearing your warnings about it hehe. Sounds like it can be a good one. The most disturbing thing i seen is something that was filmed in real life, those kid´s that run around killing people with a hammer and laughing at the same time filming it, i saw that video and i never quite recovered from it. The worse thing was how they enjoyed it
Very good video MrMovieNight, very entertaining to watch, i like your opinions! The most distrubing gore movie i have seen is Black Past by Olaf Ittenbach, it was an allright movie though, nothing too crazy in my opinion. Keep your good work up!
That's cool man! Yeah, Sinister was great compared to a lot of the other unoriginal horror crap that Hollywood keeps churning out. I hope to see more films like that. Hey...thanks for the kind words and being a loyal subscriber! Take care.
Mr Movie, I understand how you feel. Megan Is Missing gave me the same feeling- only I had chosen to watch it late at night. By the time it was done I was a jumble of nerves and it stayed with me for a long time! Disturbing!! The other movie that make me feel the same way is called "Every Way The Wind Blows." It is a cartoon and I am not sure if it is even considered to be horror, per say but it really really scares me! It is about being the last people on earth to survive nuclear war and how these characters have radiation poison but, don't even know it. It is horribly disturbing! I have to go watch something bright and cheery now after thinking of those two movies! Have you seen Every Way The Wind Blows? Did it creep you out too?
Great video-awesome u studied film. Will def buy sinister Tues...it restored my faith in modern horror! :) Megan's missing sounds disturbing-but then u kind of make me curious to watch it. It takes a lot to get to me...I watch a lot of horror movies w torture...but this sounds intense!
Thanks for the great comment dude! I actually have seen Salo, and it was mainly just very gross. It was disturbing too though, and not one that I will be watching again. I agree with you on the ending of Seven too...really messed up! Take care man.
I like to really test my limits when it comes to horror movies, but, that one might push me a little to far. But I do like your videos and I hope to see a lot more of them in the future.
Yeah...the film is just so disturbing in that it could really happen...and this kind of thing does happen. It's a whole different experience than watching any old fictional or non-believable horror film. This one really hits you in the mind and the gut! I hope you can forget about it quickly. Thanks for checking out my videos!
Wes, Megan is missing is an awful movie and very disturbing. But, it is a wonderful tool as well. I watched it with my 14 yr old daughter to show her how innocence and trust as well as curiosity are exploited. I urge other parents to do the same. Love your reviews. New subscriber, laura in jax....brenin is my kiddo.
Hey! Great to have you in our movie community! I really did like Sinister too! Yeah I can't recommend Megan Is Missing to you, just too disturbing and gave me a sick feeling. I don't like those types of films. Take care, and thanks for the great comment! :)
Hey MrMovieNight big fan of yours just a recomendation.I just seen a movie that was disturbing to me and its called Chained.Let me know if you seen it or what you think of it.Thanx and keeping making awesome videos.
Hey buddy. Yeah, I saw I Spit On Your Grave (old one and remake) and they were very gross for sure. I watched a trailer for the Alice Creed film and it looks interesting. I might check it out...not sure yet. Take care dude.
am with you on that i saw it too, never again i will play at '' who can find the most digusting thing on internet '' with my friends. it's disturbing and truly moving by the homeless guy in agony that those young repulsive adults was torturing with a screwdriver should i say the title or not ?
Robyn, thanks for the great comment! I don't like really disturbing horror films either, I just had to give my feelings about this one. I would not recommend it to anyone. And by the way, you can call me Wes :) Cheers my friend!
You have to watch it again, it only hurts the first time eh eh eh , i,m gonna see it today or later tomorrow............alone in the dark...........i want to feel it
I have seen The Girl Next Door, and it was very disturbing, especially since it was based on true events. I just don't think I can handle A Serbian Film, and will probably be skipping that one. Thanks for watching!
Well I heard about a movie called slaughtered vomit dolls. Looked up some stills and information on it and it has to be the most disturbing thing I have ever heard of. I'm not going to even watch it. Not sure why anyone would even make something like that, I guess for shock value maybe.
5 of my favorite Horror/Disturbing: A Serbian Film (I don't like it, it's just..no. Oh God, just..just no.) Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (Michael Rooker is fantastic) Scream (The sequels are okay, but not as good as the first) Se7en (It wasn't scary or really even suspenseful, but the WTF-ness of the ending got me) Salò, or 120 Days of Sodom (Do NOT watch this. If you're an Atheist, you'll become a Christian for 20 seconds just so you can beg God to erase the last two hours of your memory)
Yeah...I know about those "vomit gore" films. Not my thing. Just...gross...for the most part. Feeling disturbed is one thing, but feeling physically sick is another....I don't wanna go there.
Have you ever seen Yellow Brick Road? Now that movie is a mind screw. It's not shockingly gory but man, it gets in your head & under your skin. It really is excellent.
I think people are getting the wrong end when they talk about gore films..they don't scare..think your talking about the more subtle,true-to-life stuff..stuff that can actually happen to everyday normal people..anyway Scrapbook is another shocker that springs to mind
Watch Megan is missing last night and if that happens to someone i agree with you, it is terrifying but watching it just as a movie i have seen things much worst, believe me
No need to say the title i never wanna hear about it or watch it again. I am staying away from videos like that to. Rather watch horror movies and such that i know isn´t real, some of them even have some quite real looking FX but they never come close and look like the really real thing.

Nope...and I don't really have a desire to after hearing some things about it. Thanks for the comment
