I'm not one to ever comment on a video. But the amount of hate that this woman has been receiving is truly disgusting. Jaclyn has been a huge inspiration to many women and men. She is a selfless, godly woman who I look up to each and every day and will continue to look up to!
If you were to follow Jaclyn on other forms of social media, you would know that she fights her own inner demons and all of the negative comments are not healthy for her. She can either chose to let the negativity get to her or do the healthy thing and disable the comments.
Even though Jaclyn is a public figure, she is still human just like the rest of use. SHE HAS FEELINGS! If you don't like her, don't watch her videos. It's that simple. We need to spread more love instead of hate! Words hurt people no matter how famous they may be.

When all you do is talk shit and complain about her, why do you even take time out of your day to watch her videos and leave such horrible comments. These videos are about her thoughts and opinions, not yours. If you don't like them oh well, she does. Not everyone is going to like the same things. She's not telling you, you must go buy it. I'm a beauty consultant at Walgreens and I love drugstore makeup. I love the air spun loose powder which is found mostly at Walmart but some Walgreens stores carry it. You should really try the No7 foundations from Walgreens. If you go to a store that has a Beauty Consultant, we have little devices that will match you to your perfect shade along with concealer, blush, and bronzer. The elf pore less face primer is really nice. Essence has really good lipsticks as well as a brow gel with fibers in it. Soap and Glory (also found at Walgreens) has amazing lipsticks and a ton of nudes. Hope this helps! :)

selena Shermer Yes I did! If you go on Walgreen's website and look under jobs, beauty consultant is one on the jobs to apply for. Beauty Advisor is a different job and beauty consultant is the newer job for the more updated stores if that makes sense.

But then you all complain that she's "late to the game" and she "changed" when she makes a video on drug store makeup. It's so disappointing that I can't even come to this girls comment section anymore because it's barely about makeup. People critiquing her voice, her attitude, her jokes, how she's "changed", etc. Do people really get off criticizing people behind a keyboard because they are unhappy at that moment?! It's disgusting. Being her fan or supporter does not give you free reign to act like she's on UA-cam to service you. Her past videos all you would see is people BEGGING for a drug store video and bitching how high end she is. She puts this up, and now it's she's so out of touch and she's faking or she doesn't REALLY like it. For the people who wanted this video, now her enthusiasm isn't to your liking?! Screw the people that value her higher end make up reviews. Because if you had her income you wouldn't be shopping for high end makeup, you would stick to drug store to make other people happy, right? Ok. It was evident with this video that she is trying to cater to all areas of her audience, but it's never enough for some people. I get it, she "would be nothing without her fans", but scroll through her comments section and get a taste of some of this "support". This isn't even about being a Jaclyn fan or not, it's about basic decency which is apparently lacking here. There is polite criticism, and then there is this. If she spends even 5 minutes reading these comments, she's earned every penny she has in my opinion because it's painful. If a video inspires you to spew that much negativity, I assure the problem is not Jaclyn Hill. Go look in the mirror, or just watch a different video.

No definitely not, but I don't know one person where I do and that definitely doesn't make me want to viscously berate and insult her. My absolute favorite drugstore powder is Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Loose Powder Foundation! It has really good coverage and gives a luminous look without being shimmery. I've used it for years and have never found anything I like more. You should definitely try it!

i actually use a whole lot of drugstore and high end. i switch off between revlon color stay foundation and urban decay naked skin. i also use the KVD setting powder and RCMA no color powder. I'm a huge beauty guru. I've literally learned all my tips and tricks from youtube. kind of crazy but, i like it. i also bought your brush kit and will be purchasing your eyeshadow palette when it restocks. love you JHill. you da best!!!!
For all the people complaining that you can't relate to her anymore because all she buys is high end products. Do you boo! Go out and do your research and find an affordable version of hers and use that. Quite literally as simple as that. She doesn't shove it down your throats to go out and buy them. I watch because she is amazing, she's very knowledgeable about makeup and techniques. If you feel that she annoys you or she isn't relatable then you need to learn to grow like she has. You should do a backwards makeup challenge! Like make a list of your normal routine (primer, foundation, brows, bronzer, etc) and do it all backwards starting with lipstick and working your way back to primer! Obviously it's not a serious video but I think it'd be funny!! Love your videos!! ♥️😍😘
don't bake with the Maybelline powder if you are going to be on camera or anything it's got horrible flashback and you said your skin is dry I would use it sparingly I'm only in it mattifies the crap out of me. it has silica in it and that is what causes the flashback just a heads up I doubt you'll be able to read this but the millions of comments but I'm hoping you do so I can save you from that LOL!

in way of drugstore foundations, I have been obsessed with the Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse foundation. it honestly doesn't look like foundation, it looks like a better version of your skin and feels like silk when you wear it.
I also recommend the Rimmel Moisture Renewal lipsticks. they are super hydrating and almost weightless on the lips. I for sure suggest the shades 'let's get naked' and 'back to fuchsia'. 'let's get naked' is the perfect everyday peachy nude lipstick, and 'back to fuchsia' is a stunning, bold pink lipstick.
I think you would love these, Jaclyn. I know you're always on the hunt for more nudes, but I think the fuchsia will be totally up your alley as well.

I highly recommend Maybelline Face Studio Master Conceal Camouflaging Concealer. It works beautifully and it really does the job. I have a porcelain complexion and so my dark circles are more prominent and this concealer hides my dark circles like no other concealer has ever been able to do for me. You can get it at ulta, rite aid, target and probably any thee drug store. I literally LIVE by this 🙏🏻

And maybe knowing that will help them transition into a cruelty free makeup selection themselves. The Milani 16 hour setting spray IS INCREDIBLE and the exact same as the urban decay all nighter. Also Wet and Wild highlighters are the best!! And the infallible pro matte and pro glow are so much better than fit me on dry skin.

That NYX foundation with the dropper is awesome. One of my favorite foundations.
For the record, I have 10 Morphe brushes and two palettes and love all of them. Never had an issue and I use them interchangeably with all my other stuff, high and low end. Ignore the haterazzi, Jaclyn. Block them and move on. They are only here to spread their misery because they are jealous. Keep doin' what you do. We appreciate you!!!
I heard that the unicorn drops from farsali are bad for your skin because of the added chemicals etc. Some reviews on Sephora touch on that. I'm not trying to bash farsali at all. I follow Farah on instagram and love her videos. I have the rose gold drops and I love and recommend those, but after doing research on the unicorn drops, I would advise people to be wary about using it often.

Tasha Brown i dont know if you can find that in America but if you can get the l'oreal extraordinary oil for face.. it has 98% natural oils like coconut lavander roses ecc (i always check the ingredients before buying and i was really surprise to find such a gem at the drugstore, 14.95€ so i think 17$). it is a dry oil so it absorb quick and dont occlude the pores

The pro glow foundation,fit me matte, and promatte and the milani ones are seriously my favvvv. And the fit me powders are amazing!! As well as the telescopic mascara and the big shot mascara are my fav. And the age rewind concealer are amazing!! I hate the applicator but the concealer it's self is amaze balls. And the fit me concealer is amazing as well👍🏻
Baby ceep yes the telescopic mascara is my ride or die for life since like hs lol !!! I now also use the voluminous carbon black after just to make my lashes look fuller but they are amazing!
I looove the telescopic carbon black mascara! But you absolutely need to go out and get the voluminous lash primer! It adds so much volume to your lashes, I love it!
