I have never listened to Lacuna Coil before, as I am very blinkered to what I listen to. I saw an advert on Facebook for their 2024 tour. So on UA-cam I saw this and I am very much drawn to seeing them at the Roundhouse. This ladies voice is amazing.
3 minutes in and I am like... WHAT?! Cristina's voice is superb as always. Andreas is such a juxtaposition with his growls but it just fucking works! what an incredible sound and band. I wish I was there!
I remember seeing LC play at Ozzfest 2006. That was a fun lineup. Had Dragonforce, Hatebreed, Lacuna Coil, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and System of a Down(pre-hiatus). I didn’t know who Lacuna Coil were really. Had heard of them, and heard their big singles to that point. They are so good live. Glad that they’re still doing the thing. Awesome band

Christina Scabia is my current favorite female singer in Rock and Metal right now. With Lena Scissorhands coming it at #2. Sorry, that's as far as I have gotten at the moment. But they both make my "All Time" best female singers list and are in good company with Debbie Harry my #1 all time favorite female singer. Annie Lennox #2 all time favorite. And certainly the young ladies from ABBA Agnatha and Anni, along with another couple of girls from the B-52's Kate and Cindy. And that wonderful singer from the Go-Go's (and often overlooked) Belinda Carlisle. All of these fine ladies give me goosebumps when I hear them sing. (And Helle Bohdanova from the Ukrainian Rock Band "Ignea' about to be added to my list). Check 'em out.
If you like the more operatic / symphonic stuff the it recommend listening to Floor Jansen of Nightwish, Sharon Adel of Within Temptation or Simone Simons of Epica. So many other amazing female metal singers too like Tatiana Shmayluk of Jinjer, Courtney Laplante of Spiritbox, Alissa White-Gluz of Arch Enemy. If you like Black Metal there's Fluss from Aara too, she sounds like a demon banshee. Hope you like some of these 😊

I saw them in London 5 years ago at Koko and will definitely be again this year at Roundhouse. Trust me, ITS SO WORTH IT! Their energy is insane!
