Do you have tips for in game pitching I am probably the best pitcher on my team in practice I throw the ball the hardest an I can hit my spots but recently we had our first live at bats pitching an it’s totally different when somebody is in the box I’m 16 years old an I haven’t pitched as bad as I did today since probably 12 u I was hitting batters and walking people I don’t understand how I do so good in the bullpen but suck when I got out there I had a long talk with the coach an he said he still has confidence in me an is gonna start me this upcoming Tuesday I’m very nervous though that I’ll have another bad performance like I did in live practice today do u have any tips or anything because I have never been as mad at myself as I am right now an that was just a practice an I might lose it if I end up doing that again in a game situation
@@Yandy6 the thing is I care so much about the sport like it’s hard for me to forget it it was just a scrimmage but I was so mad at myself afterwards probably the most upset I’ve been with myself in years an it was just a scrimmage I’m gonna go an do my best but if I get that upset over a bad performance in a scrimmage I’m honestly afraid I might lose it if I do that again in a game
@@randstokes5048 during times of adversity, you have TWO OPTIONS. You can decide to become DISCOURAGED and allow yourself to self implode OR you can become DETERMINED to fix your problems thru self help or assistance from others(Coaches, teammates, etc). That's the first thing. Secondly, you must understand to EMBRACE your failures as opportunities for your GROWTH to develop and shine. Growth can not happen without becoming better. Becoming better means one must have been lesser before. To understand that means you can not allow yourself to become frustrated because you would know what must come before your growth.
LOL right...nobody cares about strikeouts any more...AS long as they club the ball over the walls of small ball parks once in a while it's all good.... (rolls eyes)
I feel that sometimes tee work encourages that in my experience.
Thanks
It’s my first year playing baseball in 7 years and I stepped in the box yesterday and got hit in the hand and lost all my confidence
what happened to 3 videos a week release as advertised?

Forget it. Best thing you can do for your next outing is to not dwell on the past scrimmage. Just focus on where you are rn

@@randstokes5048 you best commit 100% to what you do then. It’s always better to make mistakes going 100% giving it your all then not giving it 100%
