I hope you guys are liking these videos. I'm trying my best to get some real knowledgable dudes on the channel so if you have any guys you'd like to see on, drop their name down in the comment section and let me know what you'd like us to talk about.
Absolutely killing it. I did not get any of this as a young player but as a coach anything I can learn now I am trying to soak up so the younger players can hopefully be better prepared for high school ball.
Ben Brewster and Dan Blewett are legit for pitching mechanics. In addition to these guys, you're one of my go-to on pitching videos on UA-cam. The Holy Trinity!
Well I have mentioned in many of your videos that I pitched in highschool and I also pitched in little league and youth ball as well. I was fortunate to play for coaches in travel baseball that played pro or college and so I have tons of knowledge. See I never made it to pro or college but I learned a lot from those guys because I have been to camps and clinics where I think mostly it was college coaches and some played pro I think but they just taught me a lot. But I'm 45 now but I think with all those years of playing that baseball is in my blood and it's just a passion of mine. There is a part of me that wants to be a baseball instructor to share my knowledge to kids who is wanting to play at the next level where it is highschool or going to play college or pro. But it's hard for me to teach kids in what I was taught as a player to kids and I've always wanted to find someone like you who knows what drills to use. See I don't really know how to get started in being a baseball instructor and I have tons of knowledge from pitching, fielding, base running, and hitting and so I just need a few pointers in how to get started
Good stuff. I think as you’re explaining the technique, go through the entire mechanics so the athlete can see in action then break it down. Lots of visual learners but definitely good stuff
Amazing video! Im teaching my 7 year old mechanics right now and that forhead on the wall drill totally helps! Matt is right its all about them feelign it not just seeing!
So funny- my sons coach today just went over how to prevent lunging forward and staying balanced on the back leg and keeping the head down. Great video. 👍
That third one is going to be great!!! I've got be new players this spring and could use all 3 of these. I'm going to use these and maximize their potential
Hey, great stuff like always, just one thing in the last last drill, Freddie Freeman talks about that in a video --no bending your body to much over the plate because all you can do sometime is pull off and out of the hitting zone,so I tell the kids to get in the back hip and how to do it without bending to much over the plate and staying there through out the swing.
I've watched all of Matt's videos with my 14U daughter. The way he breaks down the swing, and how he teaches the approach to the ball/through the ball is so on point. I was shocked this level of coaching was right here in Mass when I found his site. A pro's pro!!!
Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and defeated death and rose from it three days later spread the gospel I am not forcing you but I don’t want you guys to go to hell please do this

Matt is always so precise in his drills, I love it.

Great drills and explanation.. really helps understand a proper swing technique
Great stuff… I highly believe in drills to simplify and break down a process in steps. You do a great job! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
THANK YOU!!!!
Will start using a boxing bag to focus on mechanics! Amazing tip!!
That boxing bag analogy is gold
So good I hit line drives
Mat is my coach😊
Great video thx for the content 👍
Excellent content bro. Im a travel ball coach and would like to see a discussion about how to hit less grounders and more line drives.

Didn't realize how so many things that apply to golf also apply to baseball until now
My daughter's load leg knee hurts, due to an injury few years back, how can she load with minimal pain
Why I can’t get over the fear of blocking the ball when I’m catching Behind the plate
That intro 😅
