Question? Would you recommend a 1145 front mount or 1445. I am just wondering what would would be better? Parts availability also mowing 5/7 acres. Thanks.

I think I would lean towards a 1445, but it would all come down to the machine itself based on the maintenance and/or hours. If I found a nice well maintained low hour F1145 I would take that over a 2-3,000 hrs 1445. Since these are commercial units sometimes the care they receive is top notch other times it "how much can we get for as little input as possible". Any potential unit needs to be looked over thoroughly.

Hi I’ve just bought one of these 2010 model 2000 hours is the forward pedal meant to be really hard to press and keep down or should they be nice and loose at the minute it’s like holding a clutch pedal down? If meant to be loose what should I do to loosen it off thanks

Sold the 455 back in early/mid-June and was picked up almost a month ago now. Great machine but I need better/newer units. In no particular order I am shopping for either an X595, X748, 1445, 1545, 1565, or 1600 Series II WAM.... One of those will most likely be the next non-collection machine that comes into the Deere herd. Just takes time for me to find one I like and I think the price is acceptable for what it is.
