I actually really like mowing at dusk because it's not so hot. lots of times I will even go out and mow before I go to bed which is actually really fun
You and me both are shocked that only the blade bent!! I expected the deck to be bent or the spindle to be cracked or busted..... I looked at the Milwaukee, hard, and if I had a decent local source I probably would have gone with Milwaukee.
Have you ever replaced the belt on this deck? I've been to 3 Deere dealers and none of them can find the correct part number. They don't get any results from the system when they enter the product printed on the deck: TC1472x070148. The closest belt I have gotten is 3 inches shorter than the original and can't fit even when the tension pulley is detached and abutting the drive pulley. I replaced a spindle and pulley and they were able to match those parts no problem, but the belt and anti-scalp wheels are different from the 72" decks in their system.
@@superloopy24v thanks for the help I ended up figuring it out was just a pain because wasn't sure if I was loosing or tighting, my rattle gun isn't the strongest, I ended up undoing them by hand 👌
@@Sloppyjoe7390 That's okay, figured you might have done it by now but the comment may help someone else in the future because finding the workshop manual for free online wasn't possible so I bought it. We have 1570's and 1580's at work with the same style of cutting decks and I always do them by hand because the threads get damaged in both the hub and on the boltby over impacting the bolt using the gun by some of our staff.

The dewalt seems to work well. I’ve got the Milwaukee impacts and love them. I’m surprised the spindle housing didn’t crack with that rock.

Whoa... that was quite the rock that took out a blade and a spindle!

Hey mate I'm looking for some advice. I forgot which way the blade bolt turns to remove it can you help me out? Can't really find anything online
None of the blade mounting bolts are left hand thread so it's lefty loosey and 90ft/lbs to tighten it up after, (righty tighty).

Whoops. someone didn't fill in the SPC sheet.....
Haha! Yes, when I took the blade back to the dealer they just kind of stared and blinked in amazement.
Link to the dewalt please!
