    dude, this is cool, i could totally see using this technique with a heightfield terrain to generate sweet little winding mountain pathways

      Thats a really cool idea. I like that. May be a little difficult to control and art direct but it's a cool idea for sure.

      @@InsideTheMindSpace i did something similar one time making a catwalk system in unreal/houdini engine from a maze generator i got off orbolt. But that was flat, so it made it a little bit easier, but then i used the same system to make a moving platform generator, and that had a 3D path.
      i think with this, it might work pretty easily as long as the mountains weren't too steep just rolling hills, otherwise there would prolly be a lot of edge cases to deal with where the path would be too steep or cut the mountain.
      Could just cherry pick nice bits by hand and project them at first on a flat terrain and then slowly bring the hills up to see how high or steep they could get before causing issues.
