Hey guys ! I will tell you my story but don't be judgemental please ! I'm 24 yo a college student and your typical girl next door "the shy introvert focused on her studies" type and there is my teacher 34 yo who is very sweet and ethical and good looking (almost a whole package) guy who started to give me very much attention and care that I have never had before from any guy .. ever ! When I'm in the classroom he tries to stare gently and alot especially when I'm not looking back and smiles alot at me and preens aloooot while also looking and smilling at me and he even copies some of my gestures sometimes and he starts to fidget alot . He let me get away with many unallowed things at class like using my phone and talking to my friends , when the class was almost over and I couldn't wait for longer I asked him if I can go out and he said so gently and sweetly "okay go ahead" instead of being rude saying "no we are almost done ,wait" ,I stayed for quite a while outside to get some fresh air then returned back and when found out that he waited for ME to continue the last bit of the lesson even though he was pressed with time. Girls in my classroom find him very attractive physically and they try to attract his attention doing many things like wearing alot of makeup and twirling their hair and wearing red and sitting in the front rows more than in other classes their and they smile/laugh and compliment him alot ect but he doesn't and didn't give them much attention he looks at them very casually and indifferenly unlike me , he stared at me deeply and warmly ! Once time I tried to sit behind some girls in the middle rows to hide from him and I saw him looking for me and when he saw where i'm sitting he grabbed a chair and sat in front of it to keep facing me , and in the same day and time he had an erection all girls saw it including me which made turn red with embarrassement ! To be honest I also find him attractive and cool BUT not because of his LOOKS or STATUS like the other girls who are all just 17/18/19 yo , I like him for who he is ( a kind , ethical, confident guy) and because he is very similar to me on maaaany ways (same interests and same background). I think he probably thinks that I'm similar to him too and this is why he treats me so specially. I also think he is afraid of approaching me directly and make the first official move like asking me for a date because he is a teacher and I'm a student after all and our relationship won't be accepted by many or maybe he just isn't sure if I like him back since I never tried to flirt or seduce him , I acted casually but nicely to him all the time ! What do this I should do ?
I work with a guy that likes me. He does a few of these things and gets jealous if I even have a friendly exchange with the mail carrier. However, he does not want a relationship...so...next. I just moved out from the home I shared with my husband because things were not working out. Predators prey on all types of women and girls, but more often than not, it will be the more innocent, naive, trusting girl that gets taken advantage of. I was preyed upon as a child on two separate occasions by two separate men. I was not a promiscuous 10 year old or 17 year old. I hadn’t kissed a boy consensually until I was almost 20. My experience is far from unique.

I generally agree with most of your points, but to say that promiscuity attracts dangerous,predatory men is very wrong and very misleading. Predators prey on all types of women and girls, but more often than not, it will be the more innocent, naive, trusting girl that gets taken advantage of. I was preyed upon as a child on two separate occasions by two separate men. I was not a promiscuous 10 year old or 17 year old. I hadn’t kissed a boy consensually until I was almost 20. My experience is far from unique.

Fantastic video!! This is a tricky subject though bc, in my experience, the one man this would apply to was VERY aware of his feelings and controlling them. He had been so hurt in the past that he was determined not to go down that road again. So I had to pay close attention but make it look not so obvious lol. Great subject to touch base on Kev! Because the ways of men and women are such a paradox, it can be frustrating. My only advice is for the ladies to pay close attention but continue living their lives as such - if a man has chosen you, he'll continue to show it and as he slowly displays his intentions, hopefully the ladies will be willing to receive and return. I went out with a narcissist, I wasn't even attracted to the guy but he treated me so well at the beginning, helped me look for a job and a new phone, always picked me up from work when I finished late, would call me everyday , he really did do the most for me but man it didn't last long, soon after he started treating me like shit. Take you to see your ill mother (my mom has stage 4 cervical cancer, and she's homebound, and my boyfriend and I are in the middle of making plans for him to take me to see her, and he will be meeting her for the first time.) That's a real dude. A dude who doesn't care about you would say, "Get a ladder and change the bulb" or "take a taxi over there".
All of this just happened to me. I was oblivious until we went out one evening and the guy looked really uncomfortable. I asked what's wrong, he says nothing. I look around the room, a bunch of guys staring at me. I said omg how long has this been going on? He said "long the fuck enough! Can we go now?"😂 I said "that's weird, isn't It! (I'm really not used to people acting like that about me. I'd dressed nicely for this guy. Guess it worked) He said "it's not weird. You're beautiful. But can we go now?" He had given all these clues like obsessed over my radiators, forcing me on outings like a sudden emergency (out of hand soap!! You must come with me to choose a fragrance!) and hiding me from his nosy mother.

These are signs. Not EVERY one applies to EVERY man. Some men do a few of these things. Others mainly one. Very few do them ALL. I've dated various guys and I've noticed these signs. Ok so I know all that, but I have trust issues and blah blah blah...but I guess my question is, how should I act I the beginning? We’d talk for about a week or two then fall off for months in these two years) so in the two weeks we were seriously talking he told me that he wanted to be in a relationship but I told him I want to move slow. He said ok. But I spazzed out on him cuz we made plans and he would never call to let me know he was ready so we never ended up spending time together. One time idk what happened if it was me or him so I let that one slide, but the next time he didn’t call to let me know he was ready, he said it was because he finished work late, and he should’ve texted me but that was after I spazzed out on him.
I felt like I did too much but at the same time I felt disrespected because he didn’t extend the courtesy of letting me know he was still at work.
