This video literally came at the perfect time! For everyone else out there, I also highly suggest thinking of things that YOU like (no matter the "aesthetic") and then making that your own "aesthetic". Social media creates an aesthetic...why can't we just make our own?

I felt like a minimalist(I don't overdo with my colour(neutrals) or style. Ive started ordering fits based on that. For the first time,I tried yellow pants and blue shirt,I loved it. I'm just gonna give it time to see if I really like it. Not gonna restrict myself

Ditch the aesthetic is great advice. My personal style is such a mishmash of different things. I just add whatever I like to my outfits. For ages I've been trying to define style. Now I just say I'm a hippie because that encompasses so many different looks and is as much about attitude and freedom of expression as anything else.

Fantastic tips Sakaela 👏🏾👏🏾... stopping myself from mimicking people's styles who have the opposite body type as myself has been the biggest hurdle for me to overcome developing my personal style...but I am getting there. Thanks so much for these tips. I feel like I’ve been putting myself in a box for a long time, buying and wearing clothes that are like ”aesthetic”. Like you said I felt like I have been missing out on so much things and limiting myself, thinking I couldn’t look good in this or that. I’ve been struggling with self love and confidence issues till now. But I now know what perspective I’ll have when shopping for my wardrobe. Thank you so much❤❤
