ETC: Invocation of Frost, Corrupt Elementalist, Gorloc Ravager
I had Kronx in before Ravager and I thought that was useful, but having more consistency with the Murlocs felt better. You can go Ice Fishing over Gorloc if you want but I like that Gorloc curves from ETC and gets more Murlocs. Boompistoly Bully seems like a great addition for ETC and even the main deck if you're running into as much Shudder as I was. I liked Invocation a lot but Corrupt Elementalist is the only one I wouldn't consider cutting.

@@MartianBuu It does seem intentional, since different colored Piranhas trigger the paladin questline, last I checked.

@@MartianBuu It is intentional. Each Piranha Swarmer variant has an unique card ID, so they're treated as different entities.

Scargill could read "Your murlocs costs (2) less but not less than (1)". Or even (3) less. Honestly, I just think that the "Not less than (1)" rule (written, or not) would solve a lot of problems the game has with mana cheat...
you don't know how many times I've thought of this to myself, furgl + toxifin is a cool combo but playing scargil, into clownfish, into furgl, into clownfish, into toxifin and mutanis on turn 5 or 6 is insane. If they made it (3) less but not less than 1 then clownfish would be useless but atleast scargill wouldn't be a dead card
Scargill is not enough of a problem to need a nerf
It’s only a problem because of Clownfish and Gorloc.
@@zedoplantao to be fair shaman is the highest winrate class in wild by a mile, and it's likely due to the murlocs and even shaman. There's not a single control shaman deck that doesn't run every single netdeck murloc combo. Maybe give clownfish the no less than (1) rule
Scargill is not the focus here. The real problems are the 2k armor Druid and dew process Druid
Been climbing with the Evolve Shaman you played a bit ago and have been pleasantly surprised. I've been wondering lately if any of the Galakronds are still Wild-viable and this deck looks gas. Thanks for giving cool lists to get back into playing Wild on- I've been really enjoying watching you play.

Auras for fixed costs overwrite other modifiers. If I recall correctly, Aviana or Scargill will ignore both an enemy Boompistol Bully battlecry and your own Mechwarper aura effect. Fixed cost auras are the highest priority cost modifiers.

Quick question, why are we running Brukan of the Elements? Is it just a plan B incase we dont draw galakrond or to tide us over until we do?
Galakrond is an element of the deck not the actual focus, which is why the package is so light. Brukan is just a nutty card that should get played in all slower Shaman decks, playing it before or after Galakrond are both fine.

I could, it’s just not necessary. If I was in the mood for infinite Shudderwock I would just build for infinite Shudderwock instead of Galakrond.
Etc is good in some standard decks but no good standard decks run etc

Galakrond likely enough to be invoked early that you want to pay 6 mana to tutor it and it’s not reliable enough to be invoked enough to want to play it before Kronx for the Kronx effect. It’s just too clunky.
I did have it in the ETC for a while and liked it, Gorloc is just better though :/

Dungeoneer was good when lists only had 2 devolve and an ice fishing, 2 mana 2/3 draw a spell is not worth a slot.
I think making scargil a 3 mana 3/3 "your murlocks cost 1 less" or keep the stats and cost and make him "your next murlock costs 1" and Flurgl 4 mana would be reasonable.

I do have to wonder why no corrupt the waters. More draw for ravager, double macaws, two mutanus chomps, two cards from your etc pool, more galakron elementals double full heal of Reno. I mean, I like a good basic totem as much as the next guy. It just seems like a good inclusion to me.
As good as restoring yourself to full hp twice is, -1 card in the opening hand is a cost.
Maybe, though? I haven't played hearthstone in like, either 3 or 4 years now, I have no idea what im talking about other than guessing
Its true that the totem hero power is pretty bad in this deck, but I dont hate not having a hero power in some matchups enough to lose a card in my opening hand every game.
The quest is fun and youll likely see me play a deck built around it again eventually, but Shudder Shaman does not complete it fast enough for it to be good.
@@MartianBuu I am not going to question the top 100 wild player. However I have to ask what makes the card to slow. I can see it not being as useful in a conventional sudderwock deck, where infinite shudderwock loop shenanigans is the win condition. But the deck in the above video isn’t really that, at least to my eyes. You also clearly played multiple games that went on long enough to play six battlecry minions.
Is the tempo and or value of wild really so high that you can’t afford to the hand space and one mana of a quest unless it’s explicitly winning you the game?
@@mlp_firewind8129 Corrupt the Waters has always been a card that seems like it would be perfect for battlecry-heavy decks in wild, but at the end of the day, it doesn't do anything crazy for decks that aren't just specifically building around abusing double battlecries... and those decks just die because value is a thing of the past for most classes in the format and the double battlecries rarely do more for your tempo than you would have by just playing the same deck without the quest
plus, since there's a Galakrond here, this deck in particular is already planning on replacing the hero power with something better
