I've sorted it. Give Patches "Quickdraw: gain Charge". That way we don't have to cry about drawing Patches. He just gets to go face immediately instead if you draw him.

corpses are tracked for all classes now, but they only show up if you have a corpse card in your hand
One of the minions I evolved into is a DK card that cares about corpses. A recent update made it so all heroes have hidden corpses that only show if they become relevant. Im surprised it works for the field too, I figured it would just be in hand.
@@MartianBuu Doesn't have to be a card that cares about corpses specifically. Just any death knight card. You got the 3/2 beast that buffs a minion in your hand.

You had the corps counter in the game against dh for one turn while there was a dk minion on your board, is it normal?
Yeah they just added it. While you have a DK card it shows your corpses.

They could give Patches "battlecry: gain charge" for the old voiceline to come back. It'd feel less bad to draw him, but it's too powerful a change.
They can't because of shudderwock... Think about to that infinite loop combo, would be so insane if it could also gain charge

They think the card is fine: it's a card that you don't need to drawn anymore. But idk, I always start with it in my opening hand xD and in that case it's completely garbage
I know I’m late but having specific named cards in effects actually solves most if not all interactions. Patches can just have “Battlecry: give Patches Charge”
