I can’t express enough how much fun it is watching you go through the stages in all your projects. The soil he brought in for your driveway is the soil I garden in.🥴🥴🥴
Hi Laura and Aaron! WOW, you do have a lot going on. I can only imagine how exciting and fun it is for you to see the progress being made. The beautiful mulberry tree does look so much better with the concrete removed. It should be so much happier now. It's nice you have Chris and Paul to help with the projects. Also nice of Aaron to let others drive his tractor. LOL! Thank you for always sharing the updates on everything going on!
So much going on! Cannot wait until spring when things really start happening!! Plus the new addition to the family. It is so much fun to watch your property and your lives develop ❤️
I love watching transformations of any kind, especially building/landscaping projects. It might look bleak and bare now but even a year from now, it's going to look so great.
Yea my only thoughts was it wont be that way next year. They are taking so much of the fence out. Which I'm sure Aaron will make it all look great in the end.
I love your channel Laura, and I love to see you and your Mum having such fun together. It makes me miss my Mama. I was glad to see you wearing gloves😊. It’s lovely to see you working with your bare hands in the soil, it gives you buzzy energy from the earth. But take good care of your hands won’t you, ‘cause you’ll still be working them hard when you’re 90 and beyond. Weeding and gripping all these years eventually gave me trigger fingers on both hands, and knuckles that won’t bend fully anymore. I still work them hard, but good gloves definitely help a lot👍
In a year of uncertainty, canceled tours and trips, long-lasting fair weather, and beautiful pregnancy, the opportunity to address the infrastructure of your new property seems like it couldn’t come at a better time. Blessings abound!!
Dear sweet Laura.Just as I was thinking about what might have been living in that pile and got trapped, you reassured me you checked it.Love that you are so mindful and caring.Just adore you and your family
Laura’s smile driving the tractor, Aaron’s goofiness throwing the rock, Paul’s lumberjack strength...so sweet to follow the progress of this amazing property.
Young, strong men are amazing!! They can do work like no-one else. All these changes are making everything come together. It's gonna be awesome. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Loving the drone shots!! The Christmas lights look wonderful!! I'm enjoying watching all the progress. I can't explain just how fun and exciting it is to watch your videos each morning with my coffee. Such great inspiration to start my busy day. Thank you guys for everything you give us all year!!
😯😯😯AWESOME STUFF HAPPENING!!! It's so great watching your journey, thank you so much for sharing it! Laura, you were so adorable when you said," but I wanna drive the tractor " and at ~ 8 months pregnant jumping up into the JD, YOU GO GIRL!!!! YUP, thats the soil I deal with, all those rocks!! Anyway its looking good 👍 It must be so wonderful seeing your dreams come true! God bless you all ❤
So fun seeing you wear the pink JD gloves - thanks!! I'm like you: "Oh but I really wanted to drive the tractor. See I even wore my JD gloves. Ha! Ha!" Love the drone shots and also riding along with you on the new road; really helped me visualize where you said everything is going to be on the land. :D Merry Christmas, Everyone!
We have a gigantic burn pile. We have had so much rain it is now part of our pond! I bet Benjamin loves all the heavy equipment. It looks like the mulberry tree itself is in the way.
It's so nice to see that concrete go.. Every time I saw it I was thinking this is so NOT Laura's style and that is one beautiful tree over there. I have been following your channel for a while now. I have my own very tiny little UA-cam channel about houseplants and gardening and I have to say, respect for everything you are doing. Even one video a week is a lot for me so I have no idea how you manage all of this. Keep up the good work because your channel rocks! Big compliments all the way from The Netherlands.
Understandably these kinds of projects are far and in between for various reasons... but these are my favorite videos of yours! Pleasing to watch large changes to infrastructure 😍
The first few minutes of this were the most interesting to me - with the camera/drone work and perspectives showing what dirt movers do, how they build a road, etc. Not something most people get to see. Thanks for showing that part of the project! This is so much fun!! :: watching this all come together, each step of the way.
The moment driving in the Gator pointing out where the cut flower garden would be, etc. I could finally picture it all. Can’t wait to see it all come together!
Thank you, for checking for momma and babies. :) PS. You guys are doing a phenomenal job with your youtube channel. Thank you for doing it...I've learned soooo much!
Totally random side note. I bought a Garden Answer hoodie from you guys to give some extra support to your channel. I want to thank you for being a woman of class, for making quality videos and showcasing your beautiful life. You're a wonderful teacher, wife, mother and daughter. I have seen other gardening channels that have scantily clad women holding cucumbers suggestively trying to get more views and it sickens me. Thank you thank you thank you for being an upstanding human being!
I kept saying "use the bucket front" to get the concrete out. I'm glad you finally listened! lol! Benjamine must be in 7th Heaven with all the equipment around to watch!
I LOVE seeing these progress updates! You guys move fast! You’ll definitely never run out of content with all the changes you guys have done! 😉 thank you for sharing ☺️
Thank you for relieving my mind about critters possibly being in the burn pile, you all think of everything and are so responsible. Take care and thanks for sharing your life with us.
😍 Wow! I know you guys still have to get rid of the concrete you removed, but that made a huge difference to that space! 🤩 It looks so much softer now. 🥰
Wow! A lot of big jobs going on at once. By mid spring it’s going to be a whole new place on the new property. Can’t wait! So much beauty we won’t be able to stand it.
I’m remain so impressed by all the Infrastructure you have managed to complete this years. You got a late start but you are having a very strong finish. Curling up with your new baby daughter all winter -- precious.
I am just enthralled by this work, watching what it is and what it's going to be! Love it! Like to see things coming together, step by step. Thanks so much.
Loving the “vlog” style videos of what you guys have going on around your property. I know you are nearing the end of your pregnancy and must be exhausted! Thanks for sharing your life with us...and even at a slower pace you get so much done! Truly impressive - sending love from zone 7b Virginia ❤️
You guys are such hard working couple and absolutely deserve everything you got!!!! You inspire me with every video, such a joy to see the transformation!!! Blessings to you beautiful mama and your family!!!!
Absolutely love your videos. I start my day watching and getting inspired. I just started my garden two years ago and can’t tell you how much information and encouragement you have provided. I know the feeling of getting a big project underway, so exciting and rewarding. Congratulations Laura for knowing your limits while pregnant but still being able to do the things you can. The John Deere gloves were great. With everything you have going, it has inspired me to keep going in my own garden projects. Last year by this time, I was so burned out I just took the months of November thru February off. This year I keep seeing little project that will make a big difference next spring and are easier now than in the growing season. Thank you both for sharing your lives and teaching us novices about gardening.
Your music choices are SO flipping good!!! Laura you have such a pretty smile. SO SO SO glad you got rid of that concrete ring. I too think that someone poured concrete and put lots of dirt around the tree. The tree looks to be too old and too big otherwise. GREAT JOB everyone.
Sooo satisfying to see that concrete border coming out! Yayyy! Breathe free beautiful mulberry tree. Plus new roadways shaping up, and power lines disappearing - what wonders happening at once. As always, thank you for sharing the fascinating process and your amazing vision!
When chores becomes fun. This is definitely something I would enjoy doing and just sitting back and watching it. It would be so much fun to drive that tractor.😊😊👏🏼👏🏼
Well Laura and Aaron.. this video was so much fun to watch. Aaron's scene with that sledge hammer really cracked me up.. So funny. Great to see the humor coming through at these kinds of. Projects. Good guys.👍👍. Am so looking forward to seeing all those plans you have coming to life. I'm as excited as you are.😊 There's so much to look forward to in the next few weeks and months. God bless you All and take care.
Aaron quoting Napoleon Dynamite literally made my whole month!!! Usually I’m the one quoting random movies that no one appreciates, so way to go for making me almost spit out my coffee first thing this morning with that one!!!😍😍🤣🤣🤣
So much has been accomplished structurally this year for you folks. Everything looks great, I love the lane of trees and grass. Simple pleasures. Looking forward to seeing what next year will bring!
I have always pictured the “formal garden area” as a kids area. It’s got those arches that remind me of going to an amusement park and it’s right by the barn so easy to store kid stuff. I just see a sand box with a big play structure and a giant chalkboard and hopscotch and all the fun stuff. Maybe some big tractor tires to climb on. A outdoor playhouse. A mini street to drive the battery cars on. Just a free for all zone for the kids to make memories and be creative.
Really cool watching all the progress on the new driveway. I bet Benjamin liked that! Wow so much work going on. 😂Aaron, men are always little boys at heart! Laura, I giggled when you sounded so sad at not getting the John Deere out 😂 glad you finally did. Every woman needs to drive the Deere when they have the gloves on!
Morning Laura and Aaron! Whoa major work done throughout your property! What a blessing to get it all ready before you have your wee girl. And to look forward for Spring, I’m as enthused as you are!! Have a great rest of your day! 💜
I loved the footage of the road grading. You guys made it look like an artist at work. My grandkids will love this. They're very into the Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site books.
I’m in awe of your editing ability on your property! I’m rethinking our overgrown and unbalanced front garden and hopefully have great results, like you do. Thanks for the inspiration and showing the step by step instead of just magically showing the end result. South Jersey is in a freeze and maybe a White Christmas too!
Many people don't realize that landscapes have to be re-done or at least refreshed periodically. Some trees are long-lived but many trees and most shrubs have a life span beyond which they just don't look good. They're either overgrown or have been sheared too much and get leggy or have dead interiors. They need to come out and start fresh. Good luck on your project.
This is so much fun to watch! As an RN and mom I need to tell Paul he needs to wear eye protection while he's breaking out the concrete. A cousin of mine lost sight in one eye as a result of concrete work.
1st - Laura looked so sad/disappointed when Arron said she really didn't need to use the tractor 🚜 2nd - I say relocate the larger of the two 1/2 circle concrete and add some plank seating on each end and turn it into a seesaw for Benjamin - lol Thanks for sharing and posting. Always Keeping the Faith 🙏❤🌼❤🙏
I live in a town called Rockville and it is aptly named. Our area is full of glacial till and when I hit a rock while planting I never know if it is something that can be removed or just the 'tip of the iceberg' scenario! And this may be weird but I get great satisfaction just watching you guys dig holes without any frustrating obstructions *sigh*!
That's a burly old tree - all of those warty looking bumps have very interesting grain under the bark. My husband is a woodturner and I make lamps, so if that tree ever has to be taken out, I'll get in touch to see if you want us to make you a bowl or a lamp. We've never worked with mulberry, but generally even if the wood isn't good for turning, it can still be made into a gorgeous lamp.
Same here! But I'm having to teach myself how to edit, etc. I jist keep telling myself, I'm where she was 6-8 years ago.. she didn't post this much back then... "you can't compare your beginning, to someone else's middle!" (I heard Sean cannell say that- but idl where the quote is from originally, or if he came up with it!)
@@ElderandOakFarm give yourself a break. When they started, Aaron was never on film. He did all the camera/editing/production work. Now they both have help, which is why/how they're able to produce so much content.
how fun is this!! did you hear me dare Aaron to take the gator up the ramp on the equipment trailer??? 😂 i think i'm as excited as y'all are to see these things getting done.. it's like suddenly!! you're making huge advances everywhere! the studio, the garage door, the road, the pile burned, the lines buried... wow! and i was right there with you - i'd love to drive the tractor.. but we didn't get to see the footage of you nearly tipping it over??? (glad nothing bad happened).... hooray for big projects getting done!! :)
You guys have such vision. 👏🏻 I just know it will all come together and be beautiful. 👍🏻 It always is...!!!! Everybody working together to complete the tasks at hand.🤝 Good job! Sending blessings, good energy, and love your way...!!!! 🙏🏻🙌🏻❤ And yes..., the mulberry tree will definitely be much happier when the project is finished.😸
❤ As an animal lover, I watched the first couple of minutes with a sick feeling. Then you said how you checked the pile very carefully before burning and I felt so much better. Thank you! Regarding the rocks, that's not quite what I mean when I say I have rocks, lol. I am on the side of a hill. There is more rock than soil. Some I have had to dig out are 10x larger than the one Aaron found. 🤣🤣🤣
Wow!!!! The transformation that has happened this year - exciting! We had our power lines buried several years ago when we resided our house & put an addition onto our home. Love the mobile tour & both of you explaining the process! Love those John Deere gloves!!!! I need to get a pair since our farm equipment is John Deere! I am excited to watch the transformation & your ideas come to life!! 😍😃🚜🚜🌳🪝
Felt like I was riding in the "BIG" machine with Chad ---- how exciting! LOL when you (Laura) disclosed you just wanted to drive the tractor --- that was so funny! All styled out in your PINK John Deere gloves.
Get a Do Not Enter sign for the new drive (tell your Garbage Driver he's the only one who can enter) & adding containers past the Mulberry Tree will attract the eye to drive that way (so will an ⬆ sign) The lights look great so far Aaron!! Looking forward to the drone footage.
So exciting! I love the drone view of the property❤️ It’s going to be amazing! Thank you for taking us along on your journey! God Bless Sherry Knoxville
Suggestion for the new road: put up a Do Not Enter sign on both side of the drive to keep people going left. On the opposite side of that road put a One Way sign. That will will help in keeping drivers going in the right direction.
So, fanning your bonfire with a leafblower....what a good idea. Removing the concrete ring around the Mulberry tree was a wise move. Even in this early stage you can see the difference.
Your videos have become my morning routine with two cups of coffee before getting ready for work. I enjoy watching you both as a couple too. You guys are so nice together.
I love the little parts in the videos where you guys just kick back and have a little fun - like Aaron throwing the rocks.
I can’t express enough how much fun it is watching you go through the stages in all your projects. The soil he brought in for your driveway is the soil I garden in.🥴🥴🥴
Same here! Plus, I’ve found old discarded bricks and asphalt from the original construction.

Notice how Paul so skillfully used the sledge hammer. "Paul, so wise to let the tool do the work so skillfully. Way to go, Paul."

@@ElderandOakFarm “The beginning is half the whole.” Plato 💗
I cracked up when I saw Aaron using the leaf blower on the fire! I thought my hubby was the only nut that did that! LOL
That's smart. I've seen several UA-camrs do that.
We all love Aaron, Benjamin and laura
Great job Aaron with the drone
how fun is this!! did you hear me dare Aaron to take the gator up the ramp on the equipment trailer??? 😂 i think i'm as excited as y'all are to see these things getting done.. it's like suddenly!! you're making huge advances everywhere! the studio, the garage door, the road, the pile burned, the lines buried... wow! and i was right there with you - i'd love to drive the tractor.. but we didn't get to see the footage of you nearly tipping it over??? (glad nothing bad happened).... hooray for big projects getting done!! :)
I love how Aaron always does movie lines!! LOL.. he and I definitely mesh that way.. Napoleon Dynamite. Classic!
Get a Do Not Enter sign for the new drive (tell your Garbage Driver he's the only one who can enter) & adding containers past the Mulberry Tree will attract the eye to drive that way (so will an ⬆ sign)
The lights look great so far Aaron!! Looking forward to the drone footage.
So exciting! I love the drone view of the property❤️ It’s going to be amazing! Thank you for taking us along on your journey!
God Bless

Benjamin must have been in heaven with all the tractors!
Shuffling, moving and grooving through the projects!
God bless this work and all involved and all watching. Exciting to see dreams in action.
What a chore, those guys worked hard and it already looks better. Very interesting video.
I see the green coming in from the newly planted grass, so exciting!
What a Bon Fire with the Christmas lights on the background, love the smell of burning dry hay or dry friut branches
It’s just so exciting to watch “our” property change! 😉
So exciting to see so much progress. I finally figured out the layout of your property. Love those drone shots.
