I’ve lived in the south all my life; I’ve never eaten biscuits and gravy. Biscuits with butter, honey or jam/preserves are delicious.

You are correct and not complaining about marking trails properly. I've been a member of Rausch Creek trail riders before the name change, about 24 years now, and our trails used to be blaze marks and difficult to follow on a good day. Important to learn things without using the paint, we used to be able to ride at night, and I miss that.

You can bring some seasoning and throw it into the pot as well not just salt and pepper. When I back back I bring along extra seasoning to make it taste better

Could the private property signs just be to warn hikers to stay on the trail? Some of us will see something of interest just off the trail and want to investigate. 🙄 I know a certain Wandering Woodsman that is the same.... 😊

I love that brand of freeze dried . Also I just pour the water in the bag and let it cook in the bag and then I eat it out of the bag . :) try it that way
