Lovely day in a lovely, but confusing, forest. Thank you hiking this trail.
Hiking in someones backyard doesn't quit do it for me. I need a challenge using map and compass, w/ no house in sight for miles.
This was a great trail! Love all the deer! Thanks!
Looks like the rich people make alternate routes around their properties. Stay well and be safe.
I lived near a section of the horseshoe trail yeas ago and hiked some of the Chester and Berks sections. Loved your videos. Thanks
If you want to see deer that you can actually video there is a trail in Wyomissing behind the Wawa at Museum Rd and Lancaster Ave. It edges against The Highlands. It is a paved trail, not like the ones you normally hike. There are usually pretty many people too. But the deer are so used to seeing people that you can get pretty close to them before they run away.
Really enjoy your videos, Cliff. 😊
Fantastic video thanks Cliff. Really enjoyed that hike, lovely to be amongst trees. Thanks for the share. Please stay safe and take care
On Ohio, we follow the blue blazes: they mark the Buckeye Trail, which makes a loop around the whole state. Quite a bit of it is on the road, sadly. They are working on trying to route it off road, which will be wonderful. Enjoyed the challenging trail with you today! Sometimes it's not the terrain that's challenging-route finding can be tough too!
There are some videos showing what that Madame Sherris castle, and her history. Love your videos, be safe.
Thaks for showing this trail. Must show Naomi one time.
Oh wow, that road sign said Chautauqua Trail, and I live in Chautauqua County in NY! That's so cool. Great hike! 🐿🌳🌿
Hi Cliff, a nice trail apart from the road work but even then it wasn't overly bad, I did notice however that even though you were on the edge of the suburbs there was no trash in the woods, at least none that I saw. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
You should check out the north country trail goes from New york to north Dakota the trail through pa is very cool goes through alot of history check it out my friend
Those fig bars are a favorite of mine! I drooled! Also "blue blazes" in the South means Hell. So it was funny that you hated walking that part. 🤣
That had to have been a bummer for you 😎. Not to find what you expected. 💕
Thanks for the hike Cliff, It's just as well they reroute you/me/us. I feel uncomfortable when you have to pass by "close" to obvious private property and I see a garage door, etc.
Woodsman, love the adventures on the trail. You might be well served if you had a dog companion to share the traveling path🐕.
I don’t mind some Road walks except…when nasty dogs 🐕 come charging at you 😱
….or very territorial roosters!😬😖😲
Would you ever do camping...at Whitehall New York..Big Foot County... Just do a hike into the deep woods...stay 2 night's..
I would if you buy the beer.
Love the fall but then I hate the winter I'm in PA so it sucks for that
Oh good , let’s see who’s brave enough to go after the channel stickers , lol , creepy old shank 💕💕🍄🌷🌷🌷🍒
Nice video
Hey Cliff … love watching your videos , keep up the good work. Not sure if you are aware but this last video was very blurry at certain points . Maybe its an exposure issue or something else .
Kind of sad that the trail has so much suburban build up so close! Does that take anything away from the hike for you?
Not really, I enjoy the varied scenery.
