please provide the reference of Prophet Abraham's son Isaac because in the Muslim version it was Prophet Ishmael.

In my script I presented the Biblical tradition of the "sacrifice" involving Isaac (Genesis 22) because that story is part of the narrative traditions (both Jewish and Christian) concerning Jerusalem, the subject of the film. The Islamic tradition involving Ishmael is not connected with Jerusalem, but with Mecca. It is worth noting, however, that there is no direct mention in the Quran of Ishmael being the son involved. The connection with Ishmael is the result of subsequent Islamic interpretation of the Quranic passage.
Moreover, I would also like to draw your attention to the fact that I do not take issue with the Islamic tradition. I simply stated in the narration that it is Abraham's (Ibrahim's) absolute faith in God that has served as a powerful example for all three religions.

Please help me find the reference in The Koran of Ishmael. Google says it is in Surah 37. The copy of the Koran I have is not fivided into surahs but Sections. Section 37 dies not mention Ishmael. I am lost.

Abraham had two sons. Ishmael was the son of Abraham and Hagar, an Egyptian woman. Isaac was the son of Abraham and Sarah, who was barren and prayed to God for a son. Sarah and Abraham conceived Isaac in their old age. This is Genesis, Chapter 21.

i appreciate the narration , im just not happy with how they show the prophet Muhammed ( peace be apon him) in a picture. That shouldn't be Done.

Hi, I sincerely appreciate your sensitivity regarding images of Muhammed and I would never think to make a picture of him myself. There was certainly, for my part, no offense intended. However, there has been divided opinion about what is permissible in this regard among Muslims themselves over time. There are in fact countless images showing the Prophet that were made by Muslims over the centuries. Sometimes, as in the ones I selected , his facial features are not distinctly shown. But in others they are very clearly shown. I decided that if many historical Muslim cultures around the world considered it acceptable to depict the Prophet, then I would go by their decision that it was allowed as long as it was done respectfully. However, as I said, I did decide to occupy the middle ground and avoid images showing his face.
