Wow I am absolutely blown away at your presentation. There are no words. I am blown away to find out the Minoans were in Egypt. I am currently living in Egypt but would never be allowed access to some of the things you’ve shown here. When then man in the museum clearly did not want to acknowledge what he was seeing on those headstone depictions. He was really blind or too afraid to acknowledge what was clearly staring him in the face. What a fantastic presentation and am so happy I found this today. Thank you so much

They were in part chosen to make his presence known over time, to record and keep his commandments alive for the world, to demonstrate his power and works before man, and to bring forth the birth and presence of Jesus Christ here on Earth. They are a people documented throughout the Holy Scriptures which continue forward through today, tomorrow, and into our future. When a person studies scripture, they notice God's Special Possession are human beings just like the rest of the world. Were it not for forgiveness of sin from God through Jesus Christ, no man could be in union with our Heavenly Father due to sin. They are in a sense, from the perspective of mankind, the "Mother" of Christ. It is a position deserving of honor and respect, and a figurative position as well as a historical or literal one.
As a believer , Im really fascinated by the biblical facts and this documentary was amazing!
Bible is nothing but a copies of older stories from other books and civilisations, much older all put together and altered to fit the story, there is not much "facts" there

Regarding the last question: if Moses did follow that route and told the farao what would happen if they weren’t allowed to leave, then somebody who knew about the upcoming eruption on Santorini must have told him.

This was called Exodus Decoded, a feature-length special episode of Simka's half hour show The Naked Archaeologist, when it first aired on History Channel. It's a particularly good program with a complete theory that makes quite a bit of sense of relics and artwork that otherwise make no sense.

An excellent production with mind-blowing evidence. I had first watched "The Exodus Decoded" on TV during Easter Week about 13 years ago and was blown away. Regrettably they featured it too late at night for many people to watch. I later ordered the DVD online and gave a copy to my church. I've probably watched the documentary at least 6 times and it never ceases to intrigue me. Since it came out, it has become a known fact that the Santorini volcanic eruption was the cause of the plagues and ultimately, the parting of the Red Sea (or whatever sea it was). God works in mysterious ways! He uses people, places and events to fulfill His purpose in ways beyond our human imagination...

Immanuel Velikovsky I seem to remember, invoked near collisions between Earth/Venus/Mars to explain the natural upheavals that took place at the time of the Exodus. His works have been derided for years, but I believe that in due course he will be found to have been correct in more ways than he was wrong. "Worlds In Collision" is always worth a re-read.

Indeed. I don't know how I didn't come across Simca jacobovici's work before. Im looking into the series right now and see how reliable of a source he was. Lots of deceptions going around these days, we must ask God for discernment before jumping to conclusions.

When this came out in 1980/82 or there about, she contacted the department of antiquities and went there and saw the ossuaries herself. She began her own research and believes they are authentic.

Absolutely the most thought provoking video I have seen in years. I had already wondered if a tsunami could have been the reason the sea parted then returned. But all the theories advanced seem very well documented, except nothing much was said about why the slaves did not die and were 'passed over'... that question could be explained by rooftop gathering, either awake and watching for the night or sleeping, possibly? It was hinted at by saying lesser children of the wealthy, i.e. Pharoah, slept that way.
They were told to put the blood of the lamb in their door posts and the upper part of their door lintels the angel of death passed over them

In the documentary they said that the Israelites were having the Passover Feast on the rooftops when the carbon dioxide gas was released. They weren’t in the lower floors. The Bible refers to the blood of the lamb on the door.

PS- Going way back to the 60's I remember that a small group of students from Hofstra University tried to build the ark from directions given in the bible.
They had to give it up I heard because of electricity issues. It would've been dangerous to continue so the story goes.

Moses believed in the Hebrew God, not ur arab god, and in fact, was given the gospel. Ur profit denied the gospel.

My grade 10 history teacher explained a theory of the 10 plagues being caused by a volcano and earthquake way back in 1974! He presented it as a theory, to get us thinking about not taking things at face value, and searching for evidence.

I read The Search For The Lost Ark of The Covenant which I have a hunch is a great follow up to this documentary. It lags a bit in places but all in all a good read.
"You can't use a modern-day map".True. I'd like to see more details of the ancient maps and roads that people used to travel then. I love this documentary, but respectfully disagree on the location of the parting of the seas. There are coral-encrusted remnants of many many Egyptian chariots in pieces all over the place, at the location he dismisses as having found no evidence. Totally untrue. There exists there, at that crossing, which matches the biblical description of the steep canyon walls they were trapped in for many miles on their way to the sea, where they were then trapped, strangely there is a land bridge across the Red Sea from precisely that point and no other. It is smooth, would have been traversable on foot, and the Bible actually says more than just that the waters were parted. It states that God raised the land and made a bridge, and then parted the water. Divers there have found countless pieces of Egyptian chariots scattered all the way across that bridge. They are from the correct time period. It's clear that is where they crossed.
Write to the production and challenge it if you really are that deep about the evidence. It would make for a very interesting debate methinks.
I have known about the Hyksos pharaohs for some time. It is fascinating how they rose to power then suddenly lost it.
However, I was told for years that it was Rameses II who was the pharaoh who confronted Moses.
That's because this guy rounds up to the nearest 2500 years. lol

We still remember it as it is described in the bible a blessed box containing the ten commandments the actual tablets written by God that's powerful stuff I don't think it gets any more powerful

I graduated from Axum University in 2016 (G.C.). I know very well that Axum is a beautiful city.
An immense kingdom previously had its capital in historic Aksum in northern Ethiopia. Its historic cathedral was lastly restored in 1665 on the location of two earlier ecclesiastical structures. A number of monarchs whose Ethiopian Orthodox beliefs extended widely have been crowned on stone thrones.
The biggest Christian kingdom outside of the Roman Empire, Aksum is also known as Ethiopian Rome and serves as the capital of that ancient nation. A monk is rumored to guard the Ark of the Covenant, Ethiopia's real shrine, in the little chapel beside the cathedral.
Tables of the Ten Commandments that God sent to Moses are said to be contained in it. There are the remnants of a quite small complex on the western edge of Dongur today Known as the Palace of the Queen of Sheba in popular culture.

The arrogant idea that because people lived thousands of years ago they were all a bunch of backward idiots beggars belief. I wish to see a few billions of modern earthians descend to that time and place and expire in less than 24 hours with what they know today which won't we worth shit n that environment. Your point about red not being merely a colour but being blood is a valid point. My one irritation with the whole thing is that, you are either going to prove that the 10 plagues were divine or that they were caused by Santorini. In which case then you have to prove that God caused Santorini to happen. I think that reality was far more complex than we yet have enough brains and knowledge to understand. But we got an interesting alternative take which still leaves a lot of unexplained matters.

This has far too many holes in the explanation of the plagues being attributed to a volcanic eruption. (1)All of Egypt's water turned to blood, not turned red. It is an insult to imply that the people who lived on the banks of the Nile did not know the difference between silt, brown water, and blood. And why would it suddenly turn only when Moses took action? (2) Why is it that the 'eruption' of flies, lice, frogs, and locusts only affected the Egyptians crops, flocks and people, and not the Israelis who were right there among them? (3)How come the sky turned black only over Egypt? (4) The explanation of the hail is quite ridiculous, but not as ridiculous as (5) the explanation of the death of the first born. Every first born in Egypt died. That includes young and old. Are we to believe that EVERY first born was sleeping near the floor? (6) How is it that there is no mention of such a spectacular volcanic event in the story of the exodus? All other major events such as the great flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the daytime tornado and night time firenado, great famines, etc., was mentioned but not a catastrophic volcanic eruption! (7) Did the pillar of gas fire and smoke move with the Israelis? Because the the ones that guided them did move ahead of them and not in a far distance from them. (8)Did the Egyptian chariots get stuck in the 'Reed Sea" and did they drown in the reeds? (9) How on earth could at least a half a million people cross the sea with their loads, quicker than an army of soldiers in chariots and on foot just in time to escape the rushing water that just happened to come at the exact time that Egyptians were there? (10) Is it that we are expected to believe that all of the plagues took place in one day and that the Israelis were freed on that same day, and crossed the desert on that same day and crossed the Red Sea on that same day? Impossible. Over a period over several days, maybe even weeks from the 'eruption' the tsunami would have already passed before the crossing of the Red Sea. Why must we always try to belittle the miracles of God by simple calling them acts of nature?
Ever since watching The Ten Commandments movie I have wondered about the first born thing. Wouldn’t Pharaoh himself been a firstborn? I don’t know. As far as the Nile turned to blood, the red color could have been the iron. As a woman back in the day
I used to think menstrual blood had a metallic smell. The ancient Egyptians had many gods; I would imagine they would attribute this disaster to a god. We Abrahamic religions acknowledge the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is in our faith story. God can use nature for His mighty purpose. That’s what I think and believe.
I watch this wonderful guy all the time. I cannot spell his last name. This was the very best material that he has ever put out. The facts were impressive the locations only furthered his explanation and the ending was just awesome because that was what the Ark of the. Covenant actually look? Hooray hurray. for the Exodus. Wow! Amazing! I am only halfway through, but what about the Ark of the Covenant that was discovered in Jacob's grotto years ago? Christ was crucified directly above it and His blood dripped down through the rocks to the mercy seat on the Ark. I forgot the name of the man who discovered it hidden deep in the cave. He was the same man who discovered the remains of the real arc of Noah high up in the mountains of Arararat years ago.
