ON THE MUSICAL EPISODE ! if i remember correctly, shonda rhimes always wanted to do one, and callie's actor, sara ramirez, ESPECIALLY wanted to. sara was brought onto grey's after shonda saw them perform on stage so they have that experience. i'm not sure Why they did it with the storyline of "callie's life is in danger and so is her baby's" but doing it for a callie episode makes sense knowing all that.
This episode made me laugh from start to finish which was not its intention. I knew Sara Ramirez was on Broadway and is very well known and respected for it. Callie totally could have had an episode to sing but I agree not this one. Maybe one where Cali is hoped up on pain killers and is having hallucinations or a karaoke at the bar moment.

Last one: This current season has me screaming at the TV. I hate how the residents get treated. This is a teaching hospital and the attendees don’t teach them anything, expect them to just know everything and leave them unattended. I hate that they yell at residents for making huge mistakes that wouldn’t have happened if they supervised them and prevented the mistakes to happen in the first place. When it comes to the residents unintentionally killing patients, some only happened because their attendee did not enter the room or even tried being in the room just leaving this patient to die. Of course, the resident will try to save the patient. Yes, residents need to be held accountable, but the attendees need to hold themselves accountable too. Stop yelling at them and actually teach them. God!
Girl, I started watching Grey's Anatomy back in 2005! I've rewatched the first 5-6 seasons like 8 times? It's my comfort show, I discovered so many bands from seasons 1-2 soundtracks: Tegan and Sara are still one of my fav groups ever. My spirit animal is Cristina Yang ok. I've seen the whole damn thing til this day. Another season another drama I'll eat it up again and again.
@@lindseystein9676 Yes!!! I really liked it, I knew a little bit about their upbringing but watching their story being told through a show it's pretty cool.
The way Izzie, Meredith and Geroge treated Callie in the beginning definetly gave rascist. Izzie always gave me those vibes based on how she treated Callie and Cristina. Also very weird when Charles was an ass to her before she got fired, and when she came back she gave him like a cheeky smile..? Like why we cool with him, and not Callie for instance? She definetly gave rascist white woman.

i think the denny and izzie plot gained power over me when in that actors on actors interview between ellen and katherine, kat talked about going through the memory of losing her brother, on how she talked to her mom about the memories on the hospital and how on set she went constatly to that memory. so when i think on that plot and i remember the ¨what about me?¨ monologue i know now what was katherine thinking

I loved the Denny storyline the first time I watched it up UNTIL they started making endless excuses to keep Izzy on as a doctor. I think the reason people like it so much is because Izzy was a character so many of us could transplant ourselves and our empathy and reservations onto that the rollercoaster of seeing her fall in love, however doomed, and see her be happy and fight so hard (with the help of her poor friends lol) to save her manz
Girl I gotta say this was such a fun video. Like I really felt like I came over to hang and we spent and 1 or 2 dishing out our takes on the show over take out and wine. Such a vibe and also your opinions were all valid 😅 haha

I am loving this format of video, and I love how long it is, I would love to see more shows covered like this, even shows I’ve never seen, I think you did a really good job of explaining characters and storylines so that even if someone hadn’t seen greys they’d still be able to watch and enjo
i will forever be mad about the fact that Christina didn't win the award bc of the sponsorship or whatever just for Meredith and Bailey to win later on like wth
Izzie (Katherine Heighl): the rumor is she was supposed to be killed off, but Katherine didn't return to GA like she was supposed to (but it's just a rumor). She was given time off because she had adopted a baby & wanted to spend time with the baby. Shonda doesn't like her (that's putting mildly) Burke (Isaiah Washington): He was fired because of the slur. When he first said on set, ABC really wanted to fire him, but Shonda fought & won. He then repeated the slur after they won a Golden Globe. Shonda didn't win that one. Also, I think the relationship would have turned like with Owen. Burke was traditional. He wanted the wife & kids. When we see him in season 10, his wife used to work with him until they had kids & then she became a stay at home mom. Lexie (Chyler Leigh): she asked to leave the show because of her family and other issues. Mark (Eric Dane): Shonda had to trim the fat (budget). He didn't want to leave . Shonda debated between killing him off or having him move to Los Angeles with Addison. She chose to kill him off because she couldn't see him leaving Sofia behind (it wasn't about Lexie leaving). Edited because I was missing words
Ugh, I was going to edit my comment to Include Callie, but the it's so long and I'm on my phone. Callie (Sara Ramirez): GA did write off Callie that way. I mean they didn't intend it as a write off. Sara Ramirez decided to leave the show after they filmed the last episode. They announced they weren't returning after the episode aired. It seemed like they were debating returning for season 13 but they decided to leave the show.

Maybe one where Cali is hoped up on pain killers and is having hallucinations or a karaoke at the bar moment.
i have watched season 1-16 at least three times and yet i have NEVER watched the musical episode 😭
Oh you should! Its very important to the story, and a cool display of all their g@@amandamaher7060
i am and always will be an addie montgomery stan, no one can convince me otherwise
REALL My mom was about to name me after her 😭
Yes I love her bad!
ADDISON MONTGOMERY THE WOMAN EVER
She did nothing wrong!!!
ur comment on meredith is so real. her relationship w derek is truly the least interesting about her and i wish they focused more on literally every other aspect of her.
as someone who stopped grey's anatomy after season 6, this video was very much necessary. thanks trin for your service 🥰
an hour and a half of trin just fixed every problem i’ve ever had. (i’ve never watch greys anatomy)
Also when Callie literally is forced to chop Arizona's leg to SAVE her life she NEVER hears the end of it but when Arizona almost kills her and the baby Callie brings it up like what once idkidk
i did think that's realistic though - for some people, they really would rather DIE than lose a limb. like it's a really visceral reaction.
not me chop that sucker off if it means i live but lol. it's one of those things that ppl feel strongly about.
the best character redemption arc in tv history was alex and then they RUINED it with leaving jo for izzy like BE FOR REAL
also so glad im not the only one on the derek hate train like he was pissing me AWF for his last few seasons, like when he died, was i upset? uhh no
i think the ending will be zola being an intern and after her first shift she visits mer who’s in a home with alzheimer’s 🤷🏻
ok but that's so amazing I literally have no words rn
That would be so sad😢
Are you trying to kill me? I've never equally loved and hated something so much before 😂😂
that's so full circle and i would honestly eat it up
oemg i’m literally shivering
This video better blow up (Like Dylan in the hospital hallway) and make you reach new heights and have your career in the air forever (unlike Lexie). It warms my heart (Denny couldn’t relate) that you finally made a video about Grey’s Anatomy instead of stopping in ur tracks and ignoring it (Like Derek with the semi).
Words can't describe how much I loved reading this comment (also rip Lexie, my favorite character 🙏 😭)
I love this comment!
@@MadisonDT21 Lexie is my favorite character too😔
@@NickolasSowder I know it's sad to see her go
Denny's storyline was hard carried by K.Heigl's acting and nothing else and i will die on that hill
if Maggie and Owen have no haters, I'm dead
Trin saying April and Jackson should be tougher for like 10 minutes, when they actually are together right now!
me, who has never seen a single episode of Grey’s Anatomy every 10 seconds: period!!
same here, i'll be watching this blind
Lol, you're so real for that
“He did not let her Bejeweled… He did not let her Bejeweled.” ‼️‼️LITERALLY‼️‼️
How did everyone just forget about the fact that Owen basically stabbed and tortured a bunch of poor pigs?
He did not torture them though, they were old and about to be out down when he put them under anesthesia while they were happy and ‘healthy’. THEN he stabbed them in order for doctors to fix their knife-inflicted injuries and learn… to then euthanize them, all while anesthetized😂
@@Olivia_Neumann That's still torture to stab them and then make doctors keep them alive only to then kill them.
@@monaeckle that can be you and Izzie’s definition of torture. Under anesthesia, the pigs don’t feel pain.
@@Olivia_Neumann You don't know what they felt and how afraid they were
Omg yes!! George gives the worst “nice guy” vibes. I also didn’t care for him either way 😂
nearly 90 minutes of content?? mother is feeding us today and i am so grateful 🙏
i already knew George was gonna die, but the shock i felt when Meredith realized it was him… to this day i’ve never felt the same shock by a plot twist
'sperm fermented eggs' is something i'm going to start using regularly with my pregnant friends
When you said “best character of the show” I knew it would be Cristina Yang bc we all know and deserve no more, no less and honestly I stopped watching once she left but I will rewatch the seasons she’s there FOR HER.
Omg finally another Lexie grey stan!!!! I would do anything for that girl, although I wish she had more - I’m kind of glad she left the time she did bc we all know the writing fell off afterrr
Title: “I watched every season”
“I didn’t watch every season, just 4 or 5 after Derick died”.
Last one:
This current season has me screaming at the TV.
God!
It’s literally the appendectomy thing again 😂 Jules is going to try and take her own tonsils out or smth and they’ll rehash the same storyline 😂😂😂
Tegan and Sara are so good. Have you seen the show they made on amazon?
@@lindseystein9676 Yes!!! I really liked it, I knew a little bit about their upbringing but watching their story being told through a show it's pretty cool.
Damn unc
Girl I’ve been waiting for someone to cover the show in its entirety. Thank god it’s you!!!
If Owen Hunt has no haters, I am dead.
Im so sat for this video to point where I am sitting at earth’s core
JAHAHAHAHAHA
the amount of seratonin that entered my brain when i saw this is insane. God bless you for making this.
NO LITERALLY in early show i couldnt tell what they were trying to do with callie like did they want us to think she was weird??? because i just felt bad for her!! they were so rude and she ended up being nice to all of them anyway just so that george would be happy
one episode of this show becomes such a slippery slope! It’s so bingeable
Trin pls I need a criminal minds watch…. I need to see the dr Spencer Reid thirst
I will never forget watching the episode where we find out Alex left for IZZIE OF ALL PEOPLE. I was in my dorm, all excited to see how they were gonna write him out and I screamed so loudly at my TV that my friend who lived next door came to see what what wrong
NOT FERMENTED EGGS 😂
It’s the scrubs I feel underdressed
Thank you for mentioning that Meredith becomes much more likeable and interesting after Derek died. I know it is a controversial opinion but his death gave the show an immense creative boost and for a few seasons the show was really great.
okay already OBSESSED with this video but i'm confused if the sponsor is audible 1984 or fable app
go off trin if you were allowed two in one video!!
bothf
@@LovellTrin that’s amazing omg congrats !!! much deserved 🫶🫶🫶
Trin's takes are always spot on! I'm glad I'm not the only one that's here for the George slander haha
i think the denny and izzie plot gained power over me when in that actors on actors interview between ellen and katherine, kat talked about going through the memory of losing her brother, on how she talked to her mom about the memories on the hospital and how on set she went constatly to that memory. so when i think on that plot and i remember the ¨what about me?¨ monologue i know now what was katherine thinking
i feel like the adoption was in jeopardy bcs she committed misconduct in the workplace, and you only wanna give kids to people with perfect records and a clean life, not someone prone to breaking rules or whatever
Yeah and bc family/parental kidnapping is one of the most common forms of kidnapping so…did not bode well for a stable home lol
if cristina, alex, callie, mark, lexie and bailey have no fans i'm dead. also, i'm somewhat of an arizona hater but i too was on arizona's side during the custody battle. that was fucked up
i normally don't watch things everyone likes (exp. breaking bad, friends etc) but i started greys anatomy for funs last week and now i'm at season 2 halfway through like this show has got me hooked and its interesting every episode !! also the cast is really good !! your video surprised me cause i thought i was late but turns out never too late
update :it's been over 2 months and i'm at season 9 😭
I loved the Denny storyline the first time I watched it up UNTIL they started making endless excuses to keep Izzy on as a doctor. I think the reason people like it so much is because Izzy was a character so many of us could transplant ourselves and our empathy and reservations onto that the rollercoaster of seeing her fall in love, however doomed, and see her be happy and fight so hard (with the help of her poor friends lol) to save her manz
Also bestie the fact that I got no ads on this 90 min vid probably bc you didn’t bleep words is fucking crazy the Disney beast made this show lol
TRIN DO MORE OF THESE! I felt like we were chatting it up about grey's anatomy, it's definitely what I needed
Girl I gotta say this was such a fun video. Like I really felt like I came over to hang and we spent and 1 or 2 dishing out our takes on the show over take out and wine. Such a vibe and also your opinions were all valid 😅 haha
literally just finished binge watching the show last week u read my mind
This was so fucking good!!! I am loving this format of video, and I love how long it is, I would love to see more shows covered like this, even shows I’ve never seen, I think you did a really good job of explaining characters and storylines so that even if someone hadn’t seen greys they’d still be able to watch and enjo
in fact we find out that april and jackson ended up together in boston
mad respect for not even giving owen a chapter, that man is garbage
i will forever be mad about the fact that Christina didn't win the award bc of the sponsorship or whatever just for Meredith and Bailey to win later on like wth
Izzie (Katherine Heighl): the rumor is she was supposed to be killed off, but Katherine didn't return to GA like she was supposed to (but it's just a rumor). She was given time off because she had adopted a baby & wanted to spend time with the baby. Shonda doesn't like her (that's putting mildly)
Burke (Isaiah Washington): He was fired because of the slur.
It seemed like they were debating returning for season 13 but they decided to leave the show.
the owen slander is perfect thank you. i feel seen.
I LOVE THE NEW BACKGROUND
Unpopular Opinion: Addison and Cristina were far more interesting and compelling characters than Meredith.
Yes yes yes 👏🏼

Umm.. this is my new favorite UA-cam video, I literally was just watching grey’s. I’ve watched it thousands of times.
Justice for Mark Sloan, hes really our bb 🥰
he is so babygirl coded its insane, he was the third wife in calzona tbh
You are 1000000% valid for hating George, Derek, and especially Hunt. I hated Hunt so much, I stopped watching because I couldn't stand looking at him anymore.
apparently shonda killed derek bc the actor cheated on his wife and wouldn’t tell her and so the vibes were tense on set
I thought it was because Patrick Dempsey was a jerk on set
As someone who recently fully watched greys anotomy over about a year I love this
Lexie grey was the people’s princess
this is why you tweeted about Lexie and mark 😭
i literally just finished my millionth rewatch of greys, this is perfect timing!
Grey's anatomy had such an impact on me and others. It contributed so much for us to choose to go to medical school and become doctors. Crazy to think about.
i had this on in the background while i was working and knew when you were talking about owen without even looking at the screen💀
Tha fact that you didn’t mention the “PICK ME! CHOOSE ME! LOVE ME!” Scene 😢
I always get excited when I see a guest star from Gilmore girls like Mrs. Kim and Richard 😭
OWEN HUNT IS MY MORTAL ENEMY.
an hour and a half of grey's anatomy content? Sign me up!! Definitely would've loved to see you talk about the current season/newer characters!! Maybe in a later video?
also i wish the topic of jo and her birth mom was mentioned because it was just so sad but seeing how jo becomes who she is even with all the terrible things that have happened to her is really admirable.
i’ve never watched a single grey’s anatomy episode but i’m still seated
19:35 that is the best meredith impression i’ve ever seen i’m cryin
It’s funny, the things you said about Meredith not being allowed to be happy is why Ellen Pompeo left the show lol
Exactly, like no matter how many times I rewatch the show I just can’t find it in me to love George 😭 like he had some good moments around being a really good doctor like Izzie, but after he has sex with Meredith and then acts the way he acts ruins all of it. I didn’t care that he died 😭
Lemme tell you the decuntfication of Callie was my villain origin story 😩
