keeping those livies alive is a mission haha far out the west beach looked mint calm as. didn't even looked like the west anymore! the livebait cam footage was pretty cool too. so epic how a kingfish was after that live kahawai
@@jonnywaselectric Keep at it. Ive pulled two Kingis close to a meter and multiple rat kingis on them in my first season using them with live baits. Starting to become more popular over here in NZ too. Lately been adding a small ball sinker to slider arm, helps to get dead baits out a lot faster. Sharks are problematic though.
Big livies will swim them selves out eventually but smaller ones need to be worked. Yes livies off the beach. Much easier to get one out where you want it than with balloons. Check out ua-cam.com/video/faX-efdrQfE/v-deo.html
almost got that strike footage. awesome bro
Excellent video, thank you!
Thanks Leslie

Was very flat that day but a big northeaster was making the beach life difficult. It was a live mackie that kingi had a go at.
Really cool idea of getting these fish on tape in their element !^.^
👍lots of fun trying too.
Cheers for having a crack mate, enjoyed the video, had to subscribe.
cheers mate, returned the favor. get that cam back out there as soon as the shark numbers dwindle a bit...
@@DarkmoonAngler I'm all rigged up for sliding now, I'm over in Australia it's not massive here but it is certainly growing the last few years

Nice closing scene with the yellow tail
Cheers mate... was good to finish the vid with a half decent king after all the missed chances.
do the livies swim out or do you have to work them out? also can i do livies from the beach?

@@DarkmoonAngler youre a champ bro. thanks for your reply.. that gets a sub from me..
what sort of camera are you using brand name etc
A cheap sacrificial action cam for the slider. a brand that i wouldn't recommend. All else is filmed on a single gopro6.
