- In this video I'll be testing the Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus FDM 3D Printer. This printer is very similar to the Neptune 3 Pro but with a much larger build volume. The Neptune 3 plus build volume comes in at 320 x 320 x 400mm which is about 100mm bigger than the pro. It has a 49 point auto leveling system, magnetic build plate, large touch screen and more. Does the nozzle have to be touching the piece of paper or how does it work?
Nice video, very informative....I'm looking to purchase my first 3d printer, and I have heard a lot of good things on the elegoo neptune series. Noob question...do you need to level it for every print? Also, does it have wifi, or do I just plug my laptop into it? I guess just wanting to know how to upload models to the printer....thanks!
No you don’t need to level it each time. I only do if I start to see the first layer looking goofy which is rare. I also always just plug the sd card into the machine and print that way cause it’s the easiest for me to transfer from my computer
