First just wanna say I love this series! I look forward to it all week. I mentioned using faeline stomp to proc Ancient Teachings on the last video, but I wanted to mention standing on the stomp is really important as it makes your punch give 2 stacks of the buff that makes blackout kick hit additional times, making stacking it to 3 easy before your next rising sun kick goes up, and increasing dmg thus increasing healing. Also using your vivify cleave to heal. Making sure you have out as many renewing mists out as possible and using the free vivify basically on CD will pump up your throughput. I can’t wait for next episode!

Well, you were definetly correct in that I found you pronunciations of "incomporial" funny, tho kinda sad we only saw one dungeon where you acually had to deal with it, tho good luck with affliction! Also, awsome video as always.
I'm glad my bad English was humorous for you :D. Yeah I wanted to do more but I struggled so much and couldn't handle it. I have too much to correct in my own gameplay unfortunately. Will Episode 3 be any better? We'll have to find out next Friday ;)

So for Rainsong trinket, it's pretty rare I think.. It took my Pally 36 runs to get it, not only that but I was actually going as Prot with Holy loot spec and also didn't see the trinket drop for any of the healers running with me, and haven't seen any other drop since... I saw the Drake mount drop (sadly not for me) before I saw the trinket.
Damn, I hope my Vaults are kind to me then...I want that stupid trinket so bad!
Dude, first time healing keys AND doing it in melee range is hard keep up the good work! (Main Disc Priest and trying Holy Pally alt... healing while in melee is a different beast).
Chosen by the community, I wanted to play Disc Priest but now I'm actually playing I wish I was on the Resto Shaman :D
@@Dillisan Resto Shaman is goated this season, all the healers on my raid team fought to main it!
@@Thoreeker It's the one healer I felt "okay" with in normal dungeons and has great utility. I also knew they'd be amazing for BH this season :D
Just a quick note on last boss in Vortex Pinacle - If you're about to wipe, just drag him outside the to reset. Chances are you get 1-2 less deaths and can ress people faster than running

About the comp question for this season, in most dungeon double ranged and one melee is the best combo, regardless of the healer being melee or ranged. There's so many spell to avoid in melee range or risky situations being melee that in certain keys is very nice to have double ranged keeping uptime on mobs while the melee dances and cries xD
As mistweaver though, it can sometimes be difficult with ranged who stand way out because your Ancient Teachings and Enveloping Breaths don't always reach them. I kind of like just 1 ranged.
Thanks for your input guys. I am currently on the fence about both and trying both comps, I much prefer more melee but can also get crowded at times :D
Just catching up on this awesome series and god damn... seeing that mage poly the Incorporeal mob you had already CC'd on last boss hurt my soul. I hate this affix so much as a pugger.

You seem to have taken mistweaver up pretty well considering it’s one of the harder healers, but I wanted to leave a tip I give for all beginner healers just in general:
Use your big cool-downs! Even if you don’t think you’ll need it, just press the button. If a dungeon is 30 mins long, that’s 10 uses! Eventually you’ll get a better feel for how and when it’s right to use them, but don’t be afraid to press your big buttons, it’s what they’re there for
Tips much appreciated, this is a mistake I noticed personally and hopefully I fix for Episode 3 :)

fun series. +3 keys seem that is a bit overkill. maybe you can increase keys by 1 until you are only +1 them. so instead of going form 6 to 9 back to six m go back form 9 to 8 and try there
When your confidence is low and you're underperforming, some things have to give. It's a decision I made and I'm glad I did cause I struggled with the most basic things. I hope you watch this Fridays episode though :)
I am very familiar with the fact that charge on warrior puts you in the place you'll die on the first boss of VP, always having to backpeddle on that one!
SUPER annoying. It was the same for the last boss in SBG, couldn't charge to the adds to break the wall as it very often puts you inside and you get the nasty debuff. Grr
@@Dillisan Definitely learnt not to charge the adds on SBG quickly... 😂
As we say in my usual group, if you fail to deal with incorporeals, they will uninstall spells from your action bars.

On the second boss in Vortex, as a DH or Evoker you can double jump over the expanding circle.
I didn't actually know this until this week and I main a DH. I know, I know...
the 5 Heroic Dungeons for Loot weekly is AWESOME and the TW one wasnt bad either, got 2 415 pieces that week, which was very nice.
ROFLMAO i never saw anyone die on the bridge of HoI, didnt even know that was possible. as for the bridge incident at HoV, Odin should have guard rails on his fancy bridge.

Survival is actually really good this season. They are kinda back to their s3/s4 shadowlands form, not quite as straight up busted though. Also pretty sure the hunter got hit by the tank mechanic on the final boss of Halls. It can happen when the tank doesn't stay in melee range.
The did get hit by the Tank buster, I was just making fun :D. I would like to play Surv at some point, it looks fun :)
@@Dillisan Some of the most fun I've ever had playing the game was playing Surv in M+ at the end of Shadowlands. It's not exactly like that now, but it's still really fun.

Heads up for the niffen weekly, pick it up and join a raid group for researchers event every hour. The tier 4 12/12 is 1000rep for loam on first clear.

Very true, I often forget in moments like these that I can use it on other players.
I know you said you haven’t implemented our help from last video. But some other tips. Use you cooldowns as much as possible. Use ChiJi, use cacopn, use your free vivify, it’s really important as a healer to keep your out put up. And another thing is you just have to trust in your offensive healing. You have a ton of utility and your healing comes from kicking things just trust it’s going to work
That is actually my biggest struggle so far I think, trusting my offensive abilities. I don't use Chi-Ji nowhere near enough, same for Cocoon. Appreciate the tips, keep them coming
@@Dillisan it took me a while to learn to heal. those were the two biggest tips that helped me the most. using my CDs more often relieved alot of stress while healing. and wathcing Megasett taught me alot. she was the one that basically said you have to trust the offense is going to work or youll go insane trying to heal. Good lukc and ill be watching next episode!
@@TheUnderJaker I have been binging Megs videos, she's great and I mention her in E3. I didn't realise there was so much about Chi-Ji, it's insane. I thought I understood the Vivify cleave but I think I got it wrong, I'm researching further over the weekend :)
@@Dillisan yea she was the number 1 ranked MW last season id say she is pretty good. youll get it, it takes time. Enveloping mist is actually a very powerful skill to and is instant cast if you channel soothing mist. so you can quick channel soothing to insta cast an eveloping. Sheiluns gift is also a powerful CD you should use as much as possible. Yes and ChiJi isn just a normal CD it requires some set up, i should have said that.

So last time I played was shadowlands so everything’s changed a lot but the only reason I would think you build a comp around you is because monks had the 5% extra phy damage debuff they applied to all targets so you would be more phy damage heavy… but looking at current raider io and the top mist weaver monks comp is a Druid shadow priest and dh as dps so.. really just pick meta dps like everyone else does or people who over score and gear the content but I think you are like actually wanting to be fair and doing this to grow and not be carried so keep doing what your doing awesome content !!!
There really is no meta at my level, only those pushing the highest keys worry about min-maxing :). I just thought in terms of having too many melee, if I took two melee dps there would be three of us and encounters might get crowded. Something to consider perhaps, I don't know :D
I know you’re still moving up on the gearing process but I really do feel like the weekly quest and even time walking just aren’t great uses of time.
Timewalking now you can at least upgrade the item to heroic levels, but in the time it takes to do them you could have done 4 m+ or more.
Also have you considered trying to armor stack somewhat?
They are getting less relevant but I still have gear around 400 so the potential 415 would still be an upgrade. I also run them for practice cause I don't get to play all week.
Never considered an armour stack, don't feel comfortable putting it together either. In an organised group I would be fine with it but not in a pug environment.
Is that a weakaura for the m+ timer? If so, could you link it? The one I use doesn't show the timing for 1, 2 or 3 chests, and I love that!

Edit* Netharians Lair......I'm still having nightmares about a +20 we tried last week on Tyrannical......2hrs 12m to finish and all I got in the vault was a 3 ilvl upgrade to the item I got from the vault the previous week.

I'm pretty sure the hunter actually got targeted by the knockback the boss does. It lines up with the dbm/bigwigs alert on screen and it looks like the boss turned towards him. I was running it last night on my warrior and the boss slapped me with it despite not having aggro and the tank being in melee range.

Great series as usual, Dh can jump over wave with double jump at least. Or style on it with VR. Also still disagree with you on VP it’s fun on DH tough but fun and fel blade doesn’t take you under boss unless he brings nado’s in just retried it yesterday. Also no mover is a must in VP with netherwalk In higher keys imo at least. Still love the vids.
Also wanted to see if at the start of the next expac or dungeon you’d do this with Dh would be informative to new Dh players and at the start of an expac many things are brand new to everyone. Anyways keep up the good work thanks for the content.
Fel blade always brings me under the boss, perhaps it doesn't happen all the time but it does for me. I tried no-mover but it's such a horrible dps loss it's not worth it overall.
I don't consider myself a very good DH which is why I don't put guides out on the class, my channel is more M+ focused. I main DH for now but could also change cause I'm honestly struggling with Momentum, I can't perform on it very well.
@@Dillisan Yeah I can see Dmg does go down a bit like 1.3%, and like 10% from Spread Eagle. But it's so much easier to dps and keep dps up in no mover. To each their own tho.

Don't know about warlock gate working on Altairus, likely won't, it's not a 'teleport' like the other abilities.
Nah the Warlock gate won't work cause you go through the line of the circle, their teleport will though.

i dont think the hunter disengaged in the first dungeon, but rather got hit by the tank hit. Looked like the tank dodged a bubble and went to far from the boss, this makes the boss hit the nearest enemy and not the tank
yes! the tank went to far from the boss so the boss smacked the hunter in the face with the tank hit :D
You might be correct there, abilities seem to line up. I honestly thought they disengaged at the time. I prefer my version :D

Do you play enough Keys per Week to get 3 Item Choices for the Monk?
That's the goal for Episode 3 and beyond, hopefully I can reach that but I'm not fussed if I'm unable to. I only get to play on Wednesdays cause of everything else that I have going on so time is limited for this challenge.
imo world content is fair game for other specs cause that doesnt really matter
I stopped with pretty much all world content, I just cba :D. I might go grab the Onyx Annulet though, but will remain MW
Not trying to bring negativity to your channel and maybe someone already told you but the tornado knock up mechanic is literally meant for the expanding circle mechanic

i really really dislike the amount of gear you get when you only do m+.
my friends and i only do m+ and our gear is still lackluster to the brim.
Compared to what some players get, this is nothing...I have been getting gear but it's nothing special and mostly the wrong stats
in case you want to use it in future and avoid pronouncing "incorporeal" again - i've heard a lot of people referring to them as "the ghosts" or, my personal favourite, "hey guys, it's the boys"

Why do you hate vortex pinnacle so much? The new dungeon rotation is the reason i havent played the new expansion ... theyre all wank....the only dungeon of this rotation i do like is vortex pinnacle 😮 🤣🤣
