The simple things of life keep us focused on what is truly important: life, in all its forms, love, mercy, justice, relationships. “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Cor.13;13) Bravo to the producers and to the exceptionally fine cast.
how I'd love to hear all the music from this show played live, it's got such absolutely beautiful and moving score, you feel every birth, death and new love in your soul
The series gave me mixed feelings after watching them. Heart-broken, upset, happy, joyous, content, and more. The series portrait our similar life experiences in different settings.

J'adore le générique de présentation car la musique est vraiment plaisante hélas trop brève sur les photos en noir et blanc avec ce petit enfant qui fait ses premiers pas. Tout est parfait. Voir ces femmes aider à donner la vie cela nous change des séries policières et des scènes de crimes ! Merci les Britanniques.

The best BBC show to hit our screens for the last 40 years I love it as it is so entertaining and well acted and I love Helen George she makes the series as for my husband he watches it too and loves it so much he went out and bought all 8 seasons on DVD and cd albums and the books for me to read I want to be watching this series for the next 30 years so I hope they keep it going just like they have with Coronation Street.

Biking and Summer is coming are very similar, Summer is coming is higher in pitch and slower. I like that all the soundtracks just seem familiar and none of them so different from the rest. Christmas is also the same melody
Sister Julienne is my fav. Her peaceful and ever calm demeanor is soothing. Her expressive face can make you laugh or cry. Of course you are right about Trixie.. it wouldn't be Nonatus House with her cheer!!
Does anyone know where the find that sad piano song they play? It's called Where Rose Lies, but all I can find is the violin version, not the piano version with the same melody that they play at several instances in the series. They play it when Chummy is in the hospital.
I love this show besides it being depressing and exactly the same for 10 years. Predictable. The only thing that ever changes is the cast. I’m surprised it lasted this long but it’s only because nothing else this good is around. Rotating nurses and nuns. Why is Trixie even still a character? She fizzled 7 years ago. They had a lot of great cast members come and go which ruined the show. I’ve listened to 10 years of the old nun speak like she’s on stage doing Macbeth. One can only stand the same crap over and over.

This score reminds me so much of when I lived in England at the end of the 1950’s. I was an elementary school kid, and life was wonderful.

It's one of the shows I watch with my wife, just watched the last episode of series 9, I like it because I was born in the 60s.
I love this guy he is so beautiful I just close my eyes and there we are together but he doesn't know how I feel.
