These medieval music is so relaxing that it makes my anxious soul calm & relaxed. I felt like I was going back in time into the medieval era. I can imagine seeing myself standing before my highness singing to them while my majesty is dining, and while singing & staring at him eating, my mouth went dry, and suddenly, I started to rap and every medieval eyes was on me with confusions not knowing I brought modern rap song back to ancient time. The majesty almost had me stoned to death, and then a gate opened up, and I dive in, and voila am back to modern 2024 safely....wheeew that was closed almost got stoned by the Romans 😬🤣

I know I'll cry after listening to this playlist, but I keep coming back to it because the music is so incredibly beautiful. I'm fine, I want to live and I'm glad that I live, but I still feel so sad every time I realize that my peers think medieval music is terrible. I am sad that I cannot live in such a fairy tale that I see while listening to all these songs, but I reassure myself that soon I will become freer and will be able to devote my life to history and art!

I'm starting my masters in a month in a university that started in the early 1200s and I'm already so excited to be in a place that has such heavy and present medieval history. They often put on festivals or performances that display medieval customs or events. I feel so alive and connected with this music :)

Our landgrave sent my other sons to fight some fellows in Augsburg who were trying to read the Bible in German. Took my daughters to listen to a traveling bard who laid down some of these jams at the alehouse. Six days later we all passed by way of the pox. Our bishop outlawed cats to stop the affliction from spreading further.
