Well the planes flies as good as she looks!
Cool with the editing as not much sense in wasting folks time watching an indiscernable speck in the sky. Plenty of channels with this type footage out there already. Thanks.
Thanks for that
Great to see a 64mm with lights and retracts ! I bet its a bullet on 6S....Great video
She is quick!
Incredible price on this well equipped and rare 6s 64mm EDF. Glad to see more 6s 64mm's being offered.
i am enjoying it so far!!!!
What a fantastic plane well done.😁👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Fantastic looking jet, a great maiden flight, well flown and nice landings...jeff.
Many thanks!
Thank you , great report and demo flight ,nice aircraft.6s would make it a pocket rocket,or extreme machine for sure.
Love your videos.
🇬🇧 Jeff.
Glad you enjoyed it
A fantastic looking and flying EDF jet! The clear coat of minwax is a nice touch with that type of paint scheme.
As far as the editing with the GoPro….i like it. When the plane is too far to see, it makes it hard to judge how it handles in the air. Of course, if you’re commenting on the characteristics of the plane while it’s too far to see on camera, I’d rather hear what you have to say. Just my opinion.
Thanks for the info! My most received complaint from viewers is they cant see it when it is out there , I understand but flying in too close is not always an option with fast movers when lining up for a landinding. That is why I love it when my wife films it.
if you hated the decals on this you’d sure hate the decals on the baltic bees livery, it was super see through on the underside of the fuselage and the wings the top of both decals are okay but the bottom of mine looks horrendous im sure it won’t be noticeable in the air but up close she’s full looking forsure, i had a bad time with the main wing screws they didn’t line up at all and i just forced them into a different area i’m sure and just torqued them down super hard more than usual i could feel it going into the plastic i think but it was so tedious that i’m dreading taking it back apart again and having to do that for security but we shall see
Yeah I had a hard time with the wing bolts also. But was rewarded with a good flying edf.
Hmm im not sure if i want a small jet. I went through a phase of loving 64mm jets on 5s. Problem is they fly too fast for their small size and disappear fast. I really with this was a 90mm. However I think this 64mm is the complete package in its class. Not wanting for anything. L15, Sabre & Rafale joint 2nd. Futura & Marlin joint 3rd.
Well it has a lot of features for the price for sure.
A fantastic value for all you get. Flies great, too. Wonder about a 40amp ESC on 6s over time.
Really should be a 70A IMO
All depends on the motor size , it's just a 64mm edf, 40amp is more then enough
@markmcc21 No it shouldn't, it's probably an outrunner motor which uses very low amp draw. 70amp would had unwanted weight when it's not needed
@Mikeylikesit1968 u do u and i do me 👍🏾 it is an outrunner and only a low 2300kv so maybe 40A is just sufficient. But after playing with loads of 64mm on 4s,5s and 6s I'm going to bet this motor develops 55-60A on full thrust. First thing I'd be upgrading is the ESC which is an extra 10g or so. Playing around in the bust capacity of an ESC isn't the way I do things.
@@M4rkmcc21 wrong , you don't know much about motors and escs
Hi, Thanks for the review! Do you have any flaps to Elevator compensation on the L-39? If you do, what percentage? Thanks.
Yes I do and the video showing that is uploading now. The 2nd ever flight.
Nice flying FG! Mine came yesterday in the Baltic Bees livery. The model appears to be a fantastic value for the money. Your plane getting 3.5min of flight using 50% of a 2700ma battery is amazing. The outrunner motor does present problems for adding an afterburner though. I can’t wait for my birthday to get here so I can enjoy mine. Could you tell us what receiver you’re using? Take care…😊
Thanks and enjoy it. I am using a Spektrum AR631.
Will this run on a 3300mah lipo? Or is that too large?
No up to a 4000 should fit.
Hello what esc comes stock with / Programming card?
Please let me know ,we enjoy the videos
I am sorry I do not know of any ESC being sold that come with programing cards. Thanks for watching.
Looks like this plane is now on my "want" list. Is this a new manufacturer to r/c? Also, is your runway Geotex?
For $199 it is a good deal. And yes it is geo tec.
Does it have reverse thrust
No I wish!
How do you like it compared to freeings 80mm?
This is just as easy to to fly and runs on a much more inexpensive 6s lipo. However it does not have the big presence in the air as the the FW one. But that is for obvious reasons. But for $199 you can not beat it.
@@FatGuyFliesRC i see i already have a 70mm viper so maybe i should just take the leap to 80mm and bigger jets :) tnx !
Hello is it possible 6s 4000
mah lipo or only max 3300 mah
Possibly but pay attention to the CG . i am afraid it would make her fly piggish.
@@FatGuyFliesRC thank you very much Couldn't decide in which capacity to use it
