  • DMV NJ has no online ticketing system. According to officials, NJ residents are lining up unnecessarily since they refuse to leave once they have a ticket issued. patch.com/new-jersey/baskingr.... What they dont say is that they only give out tickets at the dmv office starting 845am everyday. They also limit the number of tickets that can go in the office everyday to less than 200 (around 165 at Wallingford dmv). At 3:45am on September 4, 2020 there were already 70 people in line at Lodi DMV and this is nothing compared to Wallingford (163 people at 4am normally). To be served at DMV, the lack of an online ticket system requires people to line up to get a ticket at 845am. If you line up at 8am, you will most certainly not be able to get a ticket to get served. Apparently despite having one of the highest tax rates in the US, NJ can't even afford an online ticket system and there are no plans to put one in place. Update: 186 in line at 6:16am
