I think #6 would be “Don’t despair.”
And sobremesa is one of my favorite words because I love the concept!
Hey :) Yep, "don't despair" is an excellent literal translation. Bit of an oversight on my part, to be honest! Thanks for watching + bienvenida al canal 😃
La sola palabra que sabía era ocupada lol 😂. Yo necesito practicar mas.
No te desanimes, ¡era bastante difícil! 🤗
@@spanishunraveled gracias por las palabras de aliento
Great stuff guys! Even though my ego must come to terms with knowing less vocabulary than I thought. I was skeptical of a vocabulary video, but I learned a lot from it, so thanks so much!!!
Hey :) Don't worry, it was a VERY difficult test! We tried to make it as interesting as possible, so I'm glad you enjoyed it 🤗
Es genial!! Muchas gracias, amigos, ustedes son los mejores!!
Tú eres el mejor por siempre vernos, muchas gracias 😊
I am an American and I lived in Mexico for almost two years. I would translate desfachatez as gall, nerve or temerity as well.
Soy estadounidense y vivi Mexico por casi dos anos. Traduciria la desfachatez como gall, nerve o termerity tambien.
Yep, those are all good translations! Thanks for watching 😊
Veo el rey y la reina !!!!!
Jajajaja
Ok, I knew 2 outright, and worked out 2 or 3 more with logic and context. And I learned some new ones! I was just needing #12 a few days ago :-). The whole video was worth that one !
Haha, I can't remember what 12 was... will have to check in a minute! 4-5 is v.good, by the way. It was a VERY hard test :)
@@spanishunraveled Yeah, I didn't want to give #12 away in the comments 🙂.
@@Rev14v7 Thanks! Just checked + I LOVE number 12; it's a great word. If you want to say 'thingamajig' specifically, you can also use 'chunche' in some countries. 'El deste' is also very common in Mexico.
@@spanishunraveled Ooh! Nice. Thanks for those!
Great video!
Yay! So glad you enjoyed it 😊
Отлично
Спасибо :)
@@spanishunraveled Если бы, у меня жена была испанка, то учил бы язык круглые сутки. А так, только часа 3-4 в день. Рад вас видеть, хороший формат.
Solo got one right :( Que lastima!
Hey Michael! Don't worry, it was a VERY hard test 🤗
Between two and six .... that's very generous of you *welp*
It was a VERY difficult test; between 2 and 6 is honestly pretty good 🤗
Las palabras que sabia: ocupado, desesperarse, chapuzon, desfachate, nomofobico
Hola Nathan :) Pues, muy bien, fue una prueba bastante difícil, la verdad.
Finalmente salió arreglada y bien peinada!
Un reto: que Ruperto hablé en castellano y la antiguamente despeinada inglés.
Hola hola 😊 Jajaja, pues siempre trato de peinarme... que bueno que se notó esta vez ;)
My score was: 8. Yay! Not. 😞🫤🤦♀️
Tengo una pregunta: dormilón, is that the same word in feminine and masculine? Soy una dormilón! 🥰
Hey :) 8 is REALLY good... it was a super difficult test!
No, you'd have to say "Soy una dormilona." :)
@@spanishunraveled ok. That's what I thought. Merci!
