That's what Igor Krutoi does. Already "Ascolta la voce," "Lybov pohazhaya na son," and even more so, "Ogni pietra" were composed in a way that nobody else would be able to sing them, only Dimash, of whom Igor Krutoi recently said: "No one is as great as Dimash."

@@arwengarraway9143, Hello Arwen. Even if I have copied Maestro Krutoi's words by hand on a slip of paper, I however have not marked the date or the place. Krutoi has expressed similar assessments at least three times, in slightly different phrases.

Я бы назвала то, что я испытываю, когда слушаю это произведение «Аромат души». Это очень сложные чувства и их сложно объяснить, но все эти переживания и ощущения делают меня ещё более живой и дают новые душевные ресурсы.
Светлана Егорова довольно сложное произведения для простых россиян, так как очень низкий все-таки уровень музыкального образования . Но слушая Димаша получаешь образования ниже и осознание того, что музыка это очень большой пласт наших эмоций, чувств!!! И это прекрасно, что не все приняли вначале это произведение. Может даже кто-нибудь и не будет больше его слушать. Но кто-нибудь будет тянутся понять и осознавать именно сложные произведения, так как хорошая музыка она не всегда простая и легкая, как море. Спасибо тебе.

And Igor had already retired, but then he witnessed Dimash singing "The Sinful Passion", in the "New Wave" in Sochi, August 2018, and immediately saw in Dimash a great talent, and their collaboration began, producing first "The Love of Tired Swans," and subsequently a masterpiece after a masterpiece.

Oh he’s incredibly awesome on the operatic scale and nobody that I’m aware of at his age can compete with that. I completely agree with you💯💯 that chorus part at the very beginning was my favorite part of the whole show and it was absolutely beautiful❤️❤️ that soprano reaching part towards the end was outstanding!! Общий, краткий перевод для русскоязычных! Я не очень сильна в английском и если, что не так, простите!!!
Она говорит про шикарный баритон Димаша, про его богатые низы. И он поет их очень расслабленно. Он очень сфокусирован, его вокал очень чистый. И он хорошо звучит внизу, хотя мы все знаем , что он может петь очень высоко. Она удивляется , ставит на паузу, как он может брать такие высокие ноты после низких( это в финальном припеве). И в конце она говорит, что в восторге, что это очень интересное выступление, про женщину в чёрном.....засомневалась насчет живого исполнения.... Говорит про баритон, про тенор, про контроль, про микстовый голос. Она в восторге!!! Замечает, что это очень драмматическая песня, ей нравится классическое исполнение Димаша!!!! Как то так, дорогие!!!!!

I'm more blown away each time I see this. How he goes from top to bottom so quickly is crazy! Usually when a person does that, they need to start kind of softly on the next note. But his voice came back so strong in his lower register… I mean…
Rosannasfriend I totally agree but I am fond of his baritone sound and that soprano more than his tenor sound. The baritone and soprano are beautiful but when he stays in that tenor range so long, I’m like ehhh.. but I like the versatility and how he changes his notes.

Krutoy and the lyricist (Lilia Vinogradova, the Russian poet and songwriter who also wrote the words for Ogni Pietra) seem to be creating for Dimash a spiritual journey of sorts. The backdrop for much of the performance is an illumination by Bartolomeo Di Fruosino done for Book 1 (The Inferno) of Dante's Divine Comedy.
Thank you for your valuable information concerning the backdrop illumination; it was obvious that it was from "Inferno", but I couldn't pinpoint the artist. I personally do not believe in any infernos or hells, but that's an irrelevant piece of information.

I think you're right. There is a direct comparison here between Dimash and the Passion of Christ. If one recognizes the symbolism in this performance, it's obvious. All geniuses suffer in their own way, and one hopes that they come out on the other side- as. the lyrics say, "For. you, it's more beautiful than ever.,"

As for Dimash songs that might be interesting for a Voice Teacher and haven't been analyzed yet - definitely it's "Sinful Passion" (crazy-fast yodel-like register switches and 23 seconds riffs & run), "Hello" (cool arabic melismas and insane breath control). Also "Daybreak" (Bastau version) and "Unforgettable day" (Gakku version is a must for the highest Dimash whistle note ever!)
I love the soprano runs in the Gakku performance. Daidedau is also beautiful.
Look for Dr. Marc Reynolds, He gave a high quaity reaction, to Sinful Passion, Daybreak, and Unforgettable Day and other Dimash Songs. His lattest, has been "Swan Goose, the duett of Tengri and Dimash"

WOW!! Krutoy and Dimash are introducing historical ART ( The Back ground is from Bartolomeo di Fruozino )and philosophy to a whole audience that most have never been in contact with it! Yo adoro esa canción, es espectacular el orden , la pureza , el manejo , la magia de su voz , no es de este mundo . Pensé que era el único que estaba admirado de este cantante , mezcla de tonos , vibratos , la esencia de la música, es como algo divino , todas sus composiciones son geniales.
The backdrop shows Bartolomeo Di Fruosino's Inferno, dark and hellish. I assume the little girl in white represents the light and the good. After she came, Dimash's tone became angelic. The hellish backdrop came down, and an angel appeared. In the last 20 seconds, an angel descended once more to show that the good wins. ❤

I think this song is autobiographical. All geniuses struggle with their own internal demons, they're driven by their passion for their art, whatever it happens to be. I listened to this song without watching the video, and there's this odd back-and-forth creaking noise as the little girl sings. I think that symbolizes Dimash (wearing white, which is the color of innocence) struggling with the dark side of perfecting his artistry- some geniuses end up like Van Gogh, some like Michaelangelo.
It's also steeped in religious imagery, from the backdrop; to the bells; to the choir and their language- Italian- and the word translated as "torture" is actually "croce" which means "cross"; to the very choice of the title, "Passione". It's not a very big leap from there to the Passion of Christ. Both Jesus and Dimash triumph in the end.
It's an absolutely spectacular piece.
