This video was extremely helpful! I’ll be purchasing the comb for sure. Thank you!
I'm so glad! Thank you for watching!
Oh I used to have a blue English Angora named Earl Grey... such a love! Thanks for the memories 🙏💜
What a cute name!!
@@TailSpinFarm Thank you... its one of my favorite teas and it just fit him... such a love 🙏💜
I actually bought those shears because you recommended and they work well for me too. Thanks . I do have a question, do you sharpen them (the shears)?
Awesome! I'm so glad they work for you too. I do have the little fiskars sharpener, but have only had to use it randomly. They seem to stay sharp pretty well.
Our satin angoras are not fans of combing yet. I hope it is because they are still young - 5 months.
I like to call it de-sheding since the fur will fall off just like a dog or cat. Plucking sounds more painful - like plucking eyebrows.
It does take them some time to get used to. Yes, the word choices are tough for this. It makes people really mad:)
@@TailSpinFarm it makes people mad? I always plucked the fur when I could. Its just like pulling dead fur out when an animal blows their coat... My Siberian cats even like it... more hands on attention...
People have real big feelings about getting fiber from rabbits😁 in other countries they literally tie the bunny down and rip the fur out. I'm trying to educate people on how it is gently done.
I would love to have a couple angora rabbits when I retire. I was wondering if some people find they are allergic to them?
They are known as being hypoallergenic, but with that being said I did have a friend who turned red the minute she picked mine up. Maybe head to a fiber or rabbit show and see how you do?
@@TailSpinFarm thanks for the answer! i have had a hypoallergenic (short hair) rabbit a couple years ago and had no problems, so that could be a good sign! Maybe your friend is allergic to hay?
My guess is you'll be okay then. That could have been!
