I was down there in Mississippi for awhile & caught a lot of crayfish outta the ditches. It was before I started hunting point's though so I Never noticed any. I'm Sure I walked over many Nice point's ! Thanks for sharing
I'm all the way up North in Wisconsin now. Terrible creek walkin but I've hot one he'll of a collection I've found in field's & along the lake's. There's a material called Hixtonite that's Only found in one spot in Wisconsin. It's called the Silver mound. It's In Hixton Wisconsin. I believe there's info on it on the internet. About 50 today & everything's Melting so it's almost time for me to be hunting AgAiN. GooD luck out there ! Peace
+Rocky Top Relics There's no telling what you will find walking the tombigbee drainage system.,and let me tell you.,it consists of a whole lotta drainage ditches over several counties....I love trying to find the ones that are not being hunted...You just never know...Good luck friend

Ditch after ditch after ditch! Outstanding PickWick... and of a large size you often find. Really big points. Good show of it all!

Wow! Some smokers. At one minute in on the very left it looks like a broken base of the worlds LARGEST arrowhead!😂 good thing they aren't that big or we could only get two at a time.
Theditchwalker I have some arrowheads that I would like to show you and a good looking tommyhawlk found them all in one spot and I found one in a piece of wood that was a part of a wagon how can I send them to you
You guys are very very fortunate for being in an area thats been so blessed for artifacts.
We are.!....The points and erosion is plentiful here on Northern Mississippi...an average of 52 inches of rain a year.

Hip or chest waders....I prefer chest waders during the winter when water is higher

They have been named over the years by different people collaborating together and after towns and counties around the type sites
