- Arrowhead hunting Mississippi....It's been slow the past few weeks, but we made up some ground today with a Killer Benton that measures in at 4 9/16 and a 3 1/4 Lost Lake drill....thanks for watching
You guys have a great eye for spotting relics. That's the key. One of my older brothers is like that, as was my dad. They could spot things that 99% of people would walk right past. It's a talent.
We have nothing like the wonderful finds you show us here in the UK but thanks to you and others who take the time to film and put on UA-cam we are able to learn about how the ancient people used what they could find. I am in awe of their skills and I love watching you find the artifacts. Thank you so much, I have always loved history and mostly what items were used and what they were made of. Take care, good luck 🍀 and happy hunting Mary-Ellen UK
+M Johnson Well said Mary Ellen...I'm glad you enjoy and learn from my vids..It is gratifying to know that I bring enjoyment to people like yourself ...Thanks for your comment ..it means a lot to me...cheers from America
Awesome possum, pumpkin pie... Like much your channel. Stay awesome.
Thanks I appreciate the comment Doug
About the only channel I go back and watch all the videos over again. That Buffalo River chert Benton is so fine!
I appreciate it bro....thanks for commenting
Once again you two have reached beyond awesomeness with a great day of successful hunting the past !CONGRATS ON THAT SMOKN BENTON AND LOST LAKE DRILL !!!!!
+flintman Thanks man...Some great stuff coming out for us lately....Good luck out there
man,I am in seventh heaven following you down these creeks. This is my hobby of hobbies ,a killerJasper !!
Great hunt guys. Congratulations! Makes me want to get in a creek.
+Heartbreaker Relics Thanks Spike....Good luck to ya'll
Very cool, your channel really sheds light on just how much history we ignore and walk on every day without giving it any thought
Very good point....relatively few people know what can be found by walking streambeds and looking down...the land was inhabited 10,000 plus years and they lost or left behind a lot of things. Thanks for your comment
Yes sir! That's exactly why you keep going back! It always surprises me when someone pulls a drill out of a creek and it's not busted up. Good luck on the next excursion, looking forward to more of your vids.👍
+Smoke eater Thanks my friend.,we are blessed with some of the best hunting grounds in the country as far as condition goes...these sandy and soft clay bottoms are very gentle on the artifacts....I've pulled many pieces out that people questioned their authenticity lol...Thanks for your views and comments man
Yeah no doubt that the soft creek bottom helps out a lot. That's one of the things I love about your vids, you guys pull out some real dime pieces! You gave me more confidence in the creek hunting and I actually finally found a couple not that long ago, they weren't perfect but my first two creek finds so I was stoked.👍
Great finds boys. Keep up the good work. I always look forward to your videos. I haven't had much luck creek walking so I love to see how its is supposed to be done.
+Tomahawk Joe Thanks man...we will certainly do our best...we have found that smaller tributaries running into a small bottom with higher land near are great spots for Archaic period relics...
Great arrow heads finds well done
Beautiful just beautiful. Boys I bet y’all can not wait for deer season to end again.
Lost Lake drill was one fine consolation prize for your buddy, two fine artifacts for both of ya, killer day!
+greatbasinman sure was....surprised the heck outta me when he found that...for a day that started out so bad ..,it turned out sweet..:)....Thanks and good luck
What a dandy of a blade, great drill fine day. Just started watching THE DUTCH WALKER I'll go walkin any ditch with you if you took me to those honey holes. Hunted down in Nevada once my friend who never been before found 3 4in blades perfect. Like to go back some day but I'd come hunt down your way too after watching you in that ditch. Great videos Hooked line and sinker.
I used to hunt in TX and Ms I have the fever again watching this!!!!
This is a timeless video of what I'm sure is a really great memory for you. I never get tired of reliving it with you man. Fkn the kill!
Wow that Benton is a screamer. Congrats on that pull!
Appreciate it
These artifacts are interesting, because they have not been touched by people for thousands of years. The last person to touch them may have been the person who crafted them.
You are absolutely rite!
That's EXACTLY the way I see it!!!
That's one of my favourite parts of it!
@@BM205 These people had to fashion what they needed. No Lowe's, or Walmart. If they needed a knife, they chipped one out of rock. Amazing people.
Real survivors. They are how we got here.
@@arklat I'd love to go back and see how when and why the old ones before us used the artifacts we find and see some of the (organic material) artifacts that were forever lost to time.So much knowledge could be learned.
Awesome video. Thanks. I never had a chance to do arrowheads hunting but would love to. Wish i have my own creek. Watching your video gave me serious arrowheads fever.
They're out there waiting... best of luck to you
Heck yeah man! You fellas don't screw around! Always killer pieces being found! Those are some fantastic points!! Love that Benton! That is a dream find! Congrats and good luck!
+Rocky Top Relics Thanks RockyTop...Sure was glad to get back on a big one...:)I actually went up the wrong feeder.,I was headed to a different feeder and went up this one by mistake...funny how things happen sometimes....As always.,thanks for your views and comments..Good luck
Those are absolutely sick - dang! would have been a lifetime find for me. Congrats and thanks for the video!
You maybe should think about getting some merchandise that says "maybe we'll get back to ya" on it. Have an amazing original channel here and I know an emerging catchphrase when I see one.
Ya had a real good day in the creek . That is an awesome Benton , large and great condition ! That red jasper point is a fine ,point too. The Lost Lake drill is a killer find !! Thanks for the hunt shares and cleanup look . GL & HH to y'all ---Butch
+qcypointhunter Been to 2 creeks before that and nothing doing....You just never know what's gonna happen the next creek you get into after a rain here...Always a pleasure Butch...Good luck back to ya friend
Comeing from you... and I have NOT even progressed two seconds into the footage of this video... I know you find rich pieces in your land! After reading the description (which I always do first) I knew you must have been blessed again. Now... I always like those strong points such as Shannon's find at :40. CLASSIC is right! What a strong Benton find! Just as strong is finding/seeing it after 4-5 thousand years(?) where it has been sleeping day after day!!! Thank you for making the effort to film the time!
+Indian Trace Appreciate it Trace.....Was a good feeling when I walked up on that big boy...:)..Best of luck my friend
Indeed!! We both play our part... live strong and keep moving forward!
Man, you find some crazy interesting pieces constantly! I used to find Mi Wok heads and beads growing up in Nor Cal, but nothing like these. Bravo, keep em commin!

+HeadHunters Heard that...be careful and the best of luck to you
Awesome finds, guys! Congrats and thanks for sharing the hunt.
+creekdalton Thanks Creek....A slow day turned out real well for us...always a pleasure...Best of luck
That Benton knife is awesome. Can you imagine what it looked like with a bone or wood handle hafted to it? I was also surprised to see snow on the creek banks. Didn't know ya got snow that stayed on the ground in Mississippi. Great vid as usual.
+Steve Row Thanks Steve...I have often imagined that...There's no snow.,that is Sand.,but yeah.,we do get a little snow that sticks from time to time here in North Mississippi...thanks for your comments
Two thumbs-up for those beauties! Tnx 4 sharing.
+David Straub Thanks David....Always a pleasure my friend
Very nice!
Appreciate it
That's about as awesome a day as you can ever dream of!!!
Darn what some nice finds! The first point, with the snapped base, appears to be a Late Archaic Barbed Var. Unknown Point.
wicked finds, fellas. just awesome. niiiice job!!
+Chris Bennett Thanks Chris
Congrat's on a fine point and finds , thanks for Sharing the hunt
+Bob Hendricks Thanks Bob..always a pleasure ..Good luck
That's more than a good Benton, more like fantastic Benton- Congrats!
+WestCentMopoints Thanks man...Good luck to ya
Geez... The Benton Blaster will be hard to beat.... With a sogger drill added to the stack... It would take us several hunts to end up with 7-13/16" worth of artifacts.! Well done...!
+SenecaRelics Aahaha..yes it will... been a few years since a big ole Benton...Some good stuff coming out for us this season...Appreciate it and the best of luck to you two
.
(Biker's) chi moom
Pretty haul. I'm glad you don't show us all the chips and scrapers - it makes other videos dull.
I'm pretty picky about what I film....I once sifted out 8 points without turning the camera on and thought " dang.,I should've filmed that" ...they were all tools and crude points.
You find some of the most beautiful looking points how to anybody on UA-cam...
I appreciate it Shawn....been hunting over 30 years and found my groove in creeks and feeders.
Holy Crap at the Smokers !! Congrats Guys ! Good Luck Next Time !

Thanks
Coolest creek finds I ever saw
Thank you....been doing it a long time
I’m listening to your accent, and have to ask what state it is they your are in ? Nice finds by the way ...
Mississippi
Theditchwalker oh very interesting. I’m from
Southern Ontario Canada , within 20 miles north of Niagara Falls Canada. My finds aren’t as impressive, but what you’ll see in my videos is a good reflection of what we find up here....
I'm not a hundred present sure but you might want to review your video. The location where you found that Benton. Right next to it looked like a little jasper arrowhead. Maybe a round base point. Anyways great find. Be safe.
+Field Stomper I don't have to review it.,I know exactly what your talking about....it's a little piece of rusted up barb wire...it caught my eye too lol....Thanks for your comment and Good luck to you
Did they use those really big heads on arrows or spears
Just started watching these videos, do you sell them or do they end up in a museum .in uk most finds have to be registered and can be bought by museums or dealers .fery interesting to watch 👍
That 2nd one could be from an atlatle dart. It seems about the right size. If so, it could be very old indeed.
+Kieran Moore that is a sharpened down Lost Lake knife from the early archaic period...thanks fot your comment
Not to be a downer, but did anyone else notice that pulling the Benton didn't stir up any dirt? The others I understand, cuz they were in flowing water, so you might not see it, but the big one was in a still pool. Just thought that was wierd.
Michael Jennings it's all real... trust me
Theditchwalker Fair enough. Thanks for the reply. Keep hunting.
Are you from Mississippi? If so I am to and a good spot to go is the back waters of grenada while the spillway is drained.
Amazing finds! Congrats! Should I walk all streams around here? I didn't know if it would matter if a stream is natural or man made but I would love to find more points. I feel I may have been looking in the wrong places.
+Fred Ferguson Appreciate it Fred....Yes.,you should walk all the streams you can....I prefer streams that run out of higher ground into bottom land...there will usually be artifacts coming out somewhere within the elevation change...Keep in mind there does not have to be a visual site against the creek for it to produce artifacts....Many early to middle archaic sites are flat or have been silted in and are not visible......You never know where or when artifacts will enter the stream....Thanks for your comment and the best of luck to you
+Theditchwalker Thank you for the advice. I'll be walking all streams for sure!
My pleasure man...Good luck
Houston Mississippi is a nice place to hunt
