To Editor: @ 3:20 where you put up the code for HelloFresh, there is a "NEW TEXT LAYER" tag in the middle of the screen. You might want to correct that before too long. Probably the graphic designer in me, that had to give you a heads up. Have a great rest of your day!

Molly just so you know the links haven’t been showing up when you point to the screen and say “click here to watch..”, also at the end the “coming up in the next video” portion appears twice, not just the caption but the whole filmed part. I’m not criticizing I just thought you may want to let your editor know!

Ben was meant to be your perfect guide; really he had some big paws to fill from Gallop and Gypsy, * and he was a brilliant, ready to go emotional support dog, for everything over the past year. Twice blessed.
He got to live his dream and purpose- to guide gracefully and with purpose, for someone who loved him. Now he gets to see you again?!
Closure can be the greatest gift of all to allow the heart-room for your new guide dog. Ben is the bestest boy, and has millions of people who are sending love and support, hoping that his recovery will be pain-free and that he will be a happy boy again soon. 💜

Thanks for taking us along on parts of your journey, Molly. It's always fascinating to see and hear how different schools do things. Coming from The Seeing Eye® where most classes are 20 to 24 students per month with four to five instructors and a class supervisor, most other schools' classes seem teeny to me. I've briefly thought about attending a school like Guide Dog Foundation here in the States--they and SE are the only two schools I know of that grant unconditional ownership upon graduation--but they don't train German Shepherds anymore. Too bad Mira doesn't take adult clients from the States; I'd love to try out a Labrenese. If Mira did and if they gave unconditional ownership, I definitely would go there. I love learning new ways of doing things, not because they are better but because they are different.
I feel you on the emotions; when I got my second dog, I also came a week after class started, but it was because I had to complete my college exams. So my beginning went like this:
I arrived at SE with my first dog, dropped off my things in my room, briefly said goodbye to her, handed her over to an instructor assistant, ate dinner, went on a Juno walk, got dog number two, went on first walk with Candie, and that was the end of a first long day.
Five days later, I had a dog switch and the process with that dog started all over again. On top of that, I was studying for one final exam that the prof did not allow be taken early. Talk about STRESS! Not at all recommended. As you said, getting a guide dog is overwhelming and stressful enough.
I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. Here's hoping that now in real time, you are settled and doing well with your new partner.

Oh wow, what an adventure. It's good to know that everything ended up well, and you have a new guide dog, but mannnn what a ride. Will be sure to keep tissues handy when watching this series.

I know all about the bag situation. My sister was there a few weeks ago. They got home in Australia, and her bags hadn’t left Montreal. Got them a week later.

I just flew back into Montreal...it was still super crazy. Bags everywhere, 7 flights on one conveyor. So crowded I couldn't even see the conveyor belt for the first 30 minutes. Waited like 2 hours for my bag.

Ohh my goodness gracious Molky I'm already crying my eyes out and I've only seen the "next video" part. Of course to be honest I started when you said you'd be seeing him that 1st night. Emotional to say the least. Things happen for reasons we have no idea why. Only hindsight allows us to view the connections and paths we took with understanding.

I'm glad you're in a smaller group this time more one-on-one and I'm glad that two people that are in the class with you know who you are that makes it pretty special Molly you are a staple in the guide or service dog community and a lot of people with disabilities look up to you for inspiration and you do a very good job teaching the world about being blind and how to act around a blind person I hope you have fun with the task of getting a new dog hopefully this dog will last for a long while as your guide dog we are all here and support you and most everything you do just enjoy your time there with all the good food and Company of everyone don't feel like you have to record everything for us I want you to just enjoy your time

My cat died recently and as a disabled adult, she was my sweet fuzzy baby. This is either bringing back all the feels, or it is having me process the feels. And I called her my fuzzy lil bumblebee because she was a calico who looked like a fat little bee when she was curled up asleep.

Ugh my heart goes out to you. Ive had dogs my whole life and I couldn’t image losing them and my mobility along with it. Hoping for healing and love with this new dog ❤️ and hopes for Ben to have a blessed life whatever he does and whenever he goes!
Note: Not sure if you’re aware but there is a “new text layer” error at the beginning and double footage at the end for the coming up section. Maybe it can be fixed/edited?

That WAS YOUR SPOT! Doesn’t matter how big or how small the class, that spot was for you. Glad you finally got your luggage, what a nightmare for so many people. Please tell me what an O and M instructor is. I’m going to have to steel myself for the next video. I cry when I have to take out the garbage so this next one will be a whole box episode. Sending you Canadian strength and patience as you navigate the ups and down of life. Stay safe.

@Dan Sgambelluri thank you very much. I am a paediatric RN and am familiar with occupational therapy but this is it on a completely different level. I had no idea. Do O&M professionals work with organizations to provide easier access for people with vision limitations or is that something completely different. I am also a flight attendant and always want my customers with different needs to be able to enjoy flying as much as I do.
