Amazing job you took something that no one would even want put your hard work and time into it and turned out something anyone would want the comment from the U.K. doesn’t get it our markets are different and you made this car mint. I bought a Volvo here in Canada for $1100 did minimal work and detail to it and sold in one day for $5000
Thank you for opening my eyes about the easiest way to clean up "those areas" that are a bit tougher to get done easily and I can't understand why I didn't think of this before.... The Magic Eraser idea. I use it often on many different cleaning adventures but never thought about them for the vehicle cleaning for some stupid reason! Nicely done work here. New subscriber.
Amazing flip!!!!! Definitely made your money's worth on this one and not too much labour time on this one too! Love how that magic eraser cleans up 🔥🔥🔥🔥
These cars were a big deal when they came out. I'm so happy to see one preserved and cleaned up like this. My grandmother had an identical S80 2.9 with the same paint, wheels, and interior, so I have a special fondness for this one!
BUYERS BEWARE! So, you bought a car in that kind of shape and expect me to believe the owner took care of it mechanically. Cleaned it up, so it appears it had been taken care of - sold it for a profit. How many problems did your pass on to the new owners?
Cars in the UK generally seem to depreceate rather quickly. Buy one brand new and 5 years later send it off to the local scrapyard running or not for about 500£ on a good day.
For the Next One.... there's a Rust oleum for carpets... I use It a lot of time when you cant clean It...just Paint It. And its not important a perfect match as long as you get close to the colour and make you forget about how It was..
It's a shame you did a semi-decent job with the car. Just brushing over the most visible spots. It is unprofessional, borderline con job. Oh, and the music sucks
This is a car detail channel masquerading as a car flipping channel. If all you do is clean out a car and turn it around, that’s not really “flipping”. Other channel highlight repairs to not only the interior/exterior but also to the engine/drivetrain.
Are you at least going through and changing fluids and filters? I watch other flip channels and they address the whole car with repairs. I’m not trying to be negative, you clearly work hard doing what you’re doing. I just think a flip involves more than just detailing. Don’t let me give you heartburn over it. I’m just a zero on the internet commenting on a guys video who has done a lot of work, both on the car and on the video editing.
Good job))) But I'm agree with other people who left comments with a question-who bought this car for that price? I mean do they make any analysis of market prices before make a deal?
As prices of new cars go up and the crazy prices to keep those computerized cars going, there is more and more of the general public going back to older cars and they are driving the prices up especially for clean cars even if they are show aging and wear and tear, at least it was clean and a good runner. tax season is almost here and they tend to shoot their whole wad on something like this. i find it is easier to flip and clean cars like this then the newer stuff. same goes for farm tractors, no one wants the expensive new ones that need to have software updates all the time so those old 60's and 70's tractors you can fix out in the field are bringing record prices when they are clean looking.
We are also in a record breaking era of car repos and some people are having a hard time to getting financing for a newer car off the lot after they have a repo or 2 on their record so they tend to look at older cars too forcing prices to go up. older cars are getting harder to find. i am in wi. so i have the rust issue to contend with too here.
Vid +10 Like the way you explained and braked down Music -1 I prefer some soft background music, if I wanna "hard bass" I would listening Sven Whatt My personal opinion...
Don't you feel bad asking so much money for a turd in a candy wrap? Did you service the engine? Paid any attention to breaks, suspension etc? Or did you just make it shine and sell it to an ignorant buyer? Who thinks he buys a well maintained car, because well, it looks beautiful doesn't it?
All European cars don't hold value. Doesn't necessarily take away much in for reliability. The only Volvo to stay away from was the automatic T6 which most if not all were autos in the US. I have a V70R and it's got 200k on it. Runs and drives great. Dad has a V70XC with 340k.
Lol it’s the first time I hear someone say that S80‘s are shit. My dad had two of them with around 300.000km and they worked fine. Only reason he had two ist that some idiot crashed into them
@@OnShouldersOfGiants comparing any other P80 and P2 chassis (and yes those are chassis codes not model numbers) Volvo to an S80 is moot. The S80 is it's own pile of crap.

For example, are you negotiable when it comes to car flipping.
12:00 can confirm…..they are sold out 😢
Awesome, I owned this car until last year. It was a great car. Thank you for the memories
Glad you enjoyed it!
wait really? you got a very clean car and that's great

Those cars were awesome back in the days. The little wipers on the headlights was so luxurious.

Hey wow amazing job 😊 awesome video Volvo is reliable car
Awsome work! from an abanoned looking car to a 50k mile
looking one!
Thanks!
Really enjoyed this vid, quick, detailed with some advise thrown in, flipped & sold, nice one!
Eres genial hermano! Saludos desde Argentina
For the pressure washer, what PSI, tip, and distance do you maintain? I’ve been nervous to use mine on an aging maaco repaint.
Love this series

Very nice job done. I like car detailing. Good luck in future work
These 1999-2005 Volvo's are the best around.
Wow; a great job. I love that S-80 generation or model: elegant and safe; it is not, but looks like a limo! ❤
Great work! Will the blue stain eventually show back up?
Not if the carpet is dyed. For now the floor mat stays and keeps the blue color covered.
Great work!. Maybe softer music choice next time to go with the satisfying cleaning. Love the video
Very impressive video
Thank you very much
You welcome my good friend
Volvo engineers are insane as well, Honda-like transverse engine with in-line 6, and long stroke.
My problem is when a car looks to good after i fix it up i tend to keep it😅
very weird and annoying music choice but very nice video
honestly flipping cars doesnt work in the uk unless youre a dealer and have 3 months warranty. people dont want to hand over any money, not even 1000

nice job, good timeprice.
Back when a volvo was a Volvo…
Who payed that 😮 you can buy one of these cars in good condition for £800 in the U.K.
Man thats a steal! Here in the US the prices are absolutely insane for everything.
@@StaufferGarage That's $1,061.40 USD.
Vehicles are cheaper in INDIA and UK because of the driving sides. Even sports cars are cheaper in UK and INDIA
yep youd find one in shite condition for 600-800 and a mint one for a grand. trying to flip older cars like this in the uk just doesnt work

What APC do you like or use?
I need to do this
Push on the bottom of the rear seat to release the seat.
Pulling at it the way you did ruins the seat frame.
Why wouldn't you replace the shifter and emergency brake boot? The car looks great other than those two areas.
is there a limit to how many cars you can buy or sell? thinking of tax stuff
Varies per state. In Texas where i am selling more than 5 cars a month means you're classified as a dealer. Comes with more rules and regulations.
@@Masterplan15 I thought it was 5 cars a *year*

How are you able to have a lot of car titles in your name and sell cars as your primary job because in Texas you are limited to selling 4 cars a year

Why don't you use your steam cleaner 🤔 for dirty door panels n plastic panels? Other detailers uses it
Becoz that's only to robb some money from legally 🙂

Well, they admitted it had an electrical issue they completely ignored (cars don't just blow fuses because they're bored and looking for attention).
Scam video. Not a single thing shown about flipping cars. Just pure washing and detailing speed up. Huge bust.
Missed too much of the video because of loud crap music. Voice over parts of it. Voice over all of it and leave off the music.

He’s flipping it not doing a full restoration.
The "background music": Why not tape some soothing stuff at a low music instead of the xxxxx you added? Even at near min volume it is irritating
