Amazing job by PlayMechanix on this pin. I had a chance to play this at MGC and it was amazing. There was always a line for PF machines there that weekend and so many people were having a blast on it. The quality of construction felt amazing, very heavy duty, the callouts are outstanding (great job David on the sound design), LOVE LOVE LOVE the retro vibe - it fits the theme perfectly. Can't wait to have a Pulp Fiction pin sitting right next to my Foo Fighters Pro.
@@cleanandlevel yeah, fair enough. It really straddles the 87-92ish timeframe in feel. The 4 separate player scores on the backbox are def a pre-90s thing. 1990 brought Whirlwind and Funhouse which started the move toward the condensed backboard display that could be utilized to display text messages during gameplay. I'm looking forward to play it!
I got one play at TPF and I was there for 4 days. The lines were just too long to be bothered waiting 30 minutes a play. Got to watch Steve and Jack play this game among others. I watched it get played quite a bit and based on my one play it's a great game.
Meanwhile, 79 minutes in, I'm riveted. Excited to play on Friday at PinFest in Allentown, PA. I hope Q3 is real thing and my LE pre-order gets fulfilled this year.
Now, don't get me wrong. I love everything about this game. But something here hurts my brain. I've listened to hours of podcasts and interviews about why it is the way it is, but some things just don't mesh in my head. I know Tarantino wanted something very specific in mind and I'd love to see Mark's original design (scrapped ideas) re-themed when PlayMechanix has another go at a game. I know it was supposed to be "era" specific and be "one level" but I always feel like I'm looking at a mish-mash of oddball ideas. Modern light show/flow/play/flippers, etc.. art & design from early 90s Williams, layout from early 90s Data East or some Bally/Will.. the entire backbox is just bizarre *overall*. Again, I know they had their hands tied and I'm not knocking what they pulled off here, but I can't wait to see what they do without a license or without someone forcing them into a creative corner.
Chicago Gaming has figured it out! I can't be the only pinhead that gets so overwhelmed by most machines in today's market. I'd love to see more machines that feel like a modern take on the 70s & 80s
The entire walken soliloquy is used in the "Gold Watch" roll scene mode. Unfortunately, nobody got there. There is a lot of Butch & Fabienne clips in the final stage of Pawn Shop which nobody finished. PLAY BETTER!
@@davidthiel5186 I listened to about 40 minutes so far and believe there are probably another 200 callouts I haven't heard ! Great work to all that worked on this Game !!!!
Machine looks awesome, was there any mention of when Cgc were planning on re running their earlier machines? I’m after a Mmr & I know they had mentioned 2023, but i’m guessing timeframe has moved
Looks pretty fun and it IS a beautiful pin and light show. Only thing I noticed so far is that the audio clips aren’t as heavy-hitting from the film as I’d hoped for. Obviously more get revealed, but after 10 minutes in, I could barely identify the Pulp Fiction vibe. Still looks fun and challenging great stream JD and congratulations CGC and play mechanics
I would only want the LE version due to the topper. I tried to get one but never could find one. I was wondering how i could find out without having to pay a scalper? when are they going to make more than 1000 LE's for the whole world? And.... is anything being done to control the scalping issue so normal people can purchase at msrp?
@@nicebelair not really because I’m a grown adult who understands economics, supply and demand. Not some whiny kid asking a invisible person who doesn’t exist to control scalping. Don’t hate the player hate the game (:
Hi Jack, can you please do a Cactus Canyon remake and tear the crap out of it? I own this game and and I would love to see HOW ITS DONE as per your insane skills. Thanks man.
Grunt Style brand clothing is not "fascist - far right" lmao. They're a company that funds veteran assistance programs (food banks, ptsd help, etc). If you think feeding homeless veterans is "fascist - far right" then I don't know what to tell you 🤡

Woah totally didn’t expect it to have old school alphanumeric displays, a definite refreshing change from the large LCDs most games have today.
This is the pinball I want! No fucking displays and movies. Just pure gameplay!) Mr Richie - you are my hero!
Being a fan of system 11, honestly not sure why this isn't done more often. I love lcds but I also love just numeric, too!
Great sound package, this pin kinda reminds me of Lethal weapon 3 table which is a good pin also.

Great looking pinball! Great stream. Thanks for posting Jack.
The 90's vibe is very refreshing. Looks like one that you can get into nice and easy without being bombarded by crazy rulesets.

Played several times at TPF. Great theme, great game! Excellent integration of ruleset and "era" of game. Outlanes are tough.

Based on this, it maybe one of those occasions i like the pinball machine more than the property is themed after
Another pinball to crave for ! I would love to find one to play with !

Love the different stages in the multiballs
Will there be Christopher Walken and bruce Willis call outs worked into future code ?

Why does the guy playing have some weird ass fascists - far right clothing on?
Doesn't Tarantino have several movies about killing people like that?

You mean Mark F'n Ritchie?
You're a damn fool.
