I think I watched this but never commented and ending up rewatching and still love hearing your story so much of how you went full time :) I am paying my bills reselling but not putting as much away for savings and retirement like you mentioned but I have improved soo much in my year reselling my year is coming up on June 4th. The rental income is probably amazing, my mom and her sisters own a building in NYC and do the same thing. Luckily for them they inherited it from their parents and my uncle does all of the work in the buildings because he has those skills already! I told Frankie I would love for him to build us a treehouse and turn it into an air b & b and I would take care of the other work involved. I would so love to do that.
Also the mom thing yes I talk about this all the time, I am also doing this for some day when I have kids so I can stay home with them. I think a lot of reselling full time is also looking at other reasons besides monetary that you are doing this for. I am also at the point where I am feeling 30 coming but not ready yet with my business and want to be there first before kids. I appreciated your honesty with that :)
I totally agree with the offers to likers. If they are a seller on posh, they expect the lower offer. I also feel that people almost want something for free. I had a pair of jeans listed for 25 and had someone offer 4. Like seriously! I have only been doing posh for 2 months and I have a business background, I am already thinking of moving to different platforms. I get the teaching! I come from being in HR field and have recently moved into a new field just for the challenge. Best of luck to you!!!!
Yes, I also experienced the same feelings, I ask my self for too much...and its just so overwhelming ...but I have been trying to work on that by just doing as much as I can and I dont finish my to do list I will continue it the next day! Best of luck to u all with sales!
Hi--just seeing this and have a question about bundles. I don't encourage them because I've seen that if I'm willing to wait it out, I can sell each item for much more. It seems like buyers are pretty much expecting a buy one, get one free offer. What am I missing?
I’m a teacher too and I couldn’t agree more with you about everything you said! Especially how similar teaching and reselling are; in both there is a never ending list of to do’s
Thanks for the great video! I'm also a teacher currently, but looking to take Poshmark full time next year. I'm so excited to hear that was your journey/experience as well, as I've been on the fence about it for a few years. I definitely needed this inspiration! :) I subscribed right away. Thanks again!
Thank you for this video! 🥰I just started Poshmark and intend to make it my full-time, I was teaching but when I moved to another city I found it super difficult to find a teaching position. This information helps so much! ☺
Hello, I am a new subscriber. I have a couple of questions that I do not believe were previously asked. Do you wash clothing before listing? How do you determine retail prices for Poshmark? When modeling clothes, do you use a self-timer? How long have you been selling on Poshmark (part-time included)? What advice would you give a new reseller? Thanks (:
Congrats on your one year anniversary and thank you for taking the time to answer questions. I always love watching reseller q & as. My question is: Did you go to PoshFest last year and if you did, what was your experience? Are you planning to go to Poshfest this year? Do you know 18andthrift on Instagram? He's also a thrifter from the Minneapolis area.
Thanks for watching! Yes, I did go to PoshFest 2018. I had a great experience...I went in knowing no one, and left with so many new friends, connections, and inspiration. I am also attending this year. And yes, I do know Nick "18andthrift". 🤗
Thanks for the inspo! Such good results

OMG, as I continued watching, I get the commission based income, just so you know after 2 years history, they will consider you for loans!
Hi, I’m watching this in September 2020 and wondering where you are? I miss your videos so much
From Seattle. First month on poshmark already sold 13 items. Thanks for the content.

Cant wait to see how you keep your inventory:)
I haven’t even finished watching but you are so right on target! Thanks for the info.
How do you send a offer to all your buyers. Bobcat

Does doing youtube bring more traffic to your closet?

Thanks for sharing your experience! This was a great video.
Thanks for watching! 🤗🥰🙏
Thanks so much for the great info! Hopefully I can get up to 1000 items as well!
Can you explain looking up “comps”?

Yes please, how do you store.
I'm happy for you because I don't know how anyone can live off of Poshmark money paying bills and rent/mortgage.
It definitely takes hard work and dedication. Thanks for watching!
Do you dropship your items or do you just buy all of your inventory?
As far as I know, drop shipping doesn't work well for Poshmark sellers. I purchase and store all items. 🤗
Do you need to pay income tax🙄
I’m a teacher too and I couldn’t agree more with you about everything you said! Especially how similar teaching and reselling are; in both there is a never ending list of to do’s

Is the number they show as listings both sold and active or just active? sorry if this is answered later in video I just started watching it
The number of listing shown on Poshmark is someone's total sold and active listings combined. 🤗
Congrats on your one year! 🙌
Awww, thanks so much!
Omg. I’m in the twin cities area too! 😱
how much is the minimum amount to be considered full time?
Hi, everyone has a different idea of "fulltime", but personally, reselling is my job. Selling on Poshmark is currently my main source of income. 🤗
Thanks for the great video! I'm also a teacher currently, but looking to take Poshmark full time next year. Q and A with your husband maybe? Ppl can ask u CPA questions on IG? Nothing heavy just basic questions resellers would have?
Yes, we are actually planning something very basic around taxes. 🤗
@@millyandmonica5723 yay that will be great!
Follow me in Poshmark @alemartinez238 💕

Thanks for all your questions and for subscribing! I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to save your questions for a follow up video. 🤗
New subbie just found your channel great info thanks for sharing and being so detailed

Great video, thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
Great video! I was a teacher and decided to stay home with my special needs child. I love the freedom of reselling.
How wonderful - I'm so glad to hear reselling allows you the freedom to best support your family! Thanks for watching 🤗
That is exactly why i sell on Poshmark, to be home with my special needs daughter.
