Great footage as usual! A very enthusiastic team with the way they were tossing everything into the back, and 2:27 says it all lol It is nice to hear that unique crunching sound of electronic waste; don't collect it anymore in my region. That is one painfully slow packer too, thanks for the fast-forwarded action. Also I read that you are going through some health problems mate, hope you get through whatever is going on...
well dam that was just a big pile of old ass sofas and tvs. that truck most def did the job but its quiet as a mouse. most of those trucks especially the older ones grawl very loud when packing a load in
holy shit thats alot of garbage...our city would make you pay extra for it...they give you two big wheeled containers and anything that you cant fit in them you have to call and have them come out and pick up another time
The metal base in the couch at the end could have been recycled as well as the old TVs. What a waste. Looks like middle of the blade has seen better days as it's bent.
Steve 17123124 everyone sells their recycling, mostly the plastic, to Asia because it is cheaper including the US, UK, Australia, Germany, France and all other western countries. Recycling, specifically plastic recycling, is a big lie, the truth is that more than half is burned or „recycled“ by Asian countries, but honestly who know how they recycle the plastic, they probably dump that stuff in the ocean. And cj donnelly has a point, recycling wasn‘t as big of a thing as it is now.
@@laurin4339 China stopped buying trash in 2016 - 2017 because they struggle with their plastic waste so the exports have also been banned in some countries like for example indonesia returned many containers with waste and so did malaysia and the phillipines where those countries use to be america's dump site but now they banned it so the trash shipping has been stopped
@@laurin4339 in the balkans the recycling is contaminated so it is collected by the same truck with general waste because people there throw 💩 inside the recycling bins and the recycleables end up either in landfills either in uncontolled dumpsites or burned outside which is very bad
Another GREAT video to feed my bizarre obsession! THANK YOU!

Where I live in New York e-waste is also recycled in the Sanitation Department
I feel old.... I remember the day when we'd take everything to the town dump and smash it to pieces. That was almost 20 years ago now.

There was no ham radio in this stuff, I think you saw an old TV chassis. Trust me, anything of value was either stripped or sold.
@packrat79 Excellent work! God bless and best wishes
