I already loved 1989 because it showed us what kind of great songwriter Taylor Swift actually is but Ryan Adams putting his own little spin on her songs made me appreciate her even more. It just showcases her talent even more. That's real music. Knowing when someone is talented and coming from two different backgrounds and acknowledging it.
Congratulations on another great project, Ryan.

No matter who covers Taylor Swift's Style, it would always sound the same, that vibe, that feeling of loving someone knowing you are not ment to be but there is something to your relationship that feels right at the moment kind of thing.
While I prefer Taylor Swifts version of these songs I'm really glad he's done these. It gives people who don't listen to Swift a chance to realise how brilliant of a songwriter she is.
Whether or not you like her, listen to her music or avoid her completely, you cannot deny she's got talent

James C, I'm not being antagonistic. it's very common practice in the music industry to market artists as self-sufficient songwriters when in reality most of them only contribute slightly. My comment was not saying she does not have talent. But someone calling her a brilliant song writer is actually laughable especially considering these songs are simple, catchy pop tunes. assuming she actually wrote all of these songs, calling them brilliant shows very little objective recognition of what lyrics with poetic substance actually looks like. Swift's songs can definitely be enjoyed. I like a few. But let's get real here too.
@@franciscopartida4167 we know it's a common practice in pop music industry to get many writers but Taylor built her career since her country days creating and co-creating her songs, she never once released a song that she isn't credited as a writer. She even wrote a whole album by herself (see: Speak Now).

these taylor swift cover songs have been playing at my work and i'm just now checking in on who sings them because i was telling myself it sounded so much like Bono, i was starting to think Bono did these covers. this guy sounds SO much like Bono it's scaring me.

I never knew I needed another 1989 but Ryan Adams just slays what I felt was my all time favorite album. Ryan's cover showcases the alternative in complete style (pun intended).

I'm loving this version so much....it is the TSwift song that I have ever purchased....and he took it to another level. I'm getting a serious 'Waterboys' vibe...like 'Whole of The Moon'....just amazing. He's serious business and couldn't be more real.
Great artists don't always make good original stuff, but they also make something that had been created by someone else look or sound as good as the original. AWESOME!

I'm from Indonesia and somehow this one sounded like the old-band music and honestly it was beyond amazing! I thought Ryan would be bringing the funky guitar sound to his cover of style but i think this one better without it.
