I enjoyed the video but I still like how the old modified videos more with seeing you asking questions and getting more in depth on the vehicle. Plus I miss the intro tune
I miss everything about the old videos. Trip videos were much better. Now it feels like a quick video to get onto the next video.
Really missing the old style production of this channel that drew me in many many years ago. I understand that from a growth perspective that having more formatted videos with higher production quality may be the way forward but the content is losing a bit of its rawness and the authentic feel that was appealing in the first place. The old style feels more relatable rather then then new format which feels like you’re watching a ‘ show ‘
You can never please everyone lmao
@@No_step_on_snake seems i'm not the only one... but thanks for your intelligent input 👌
I absolutely love the current production and could not fault it.
I agree, couldn’t have said it any better👍🏼
Can not agree more!
Damn everything is so perfect and optimal. Nicely done
Matt and Holly are the best! They peaked my interest in car camping in 2020 during lockdown.
Best troopie fit out I’ve seen so far. Looks so spacious and so much light inside. Really well thought through and heaps of storage. KISS working well here.
Fantastic episode and what a great set up by Matt n Holly
We generally use them in the dark. Tends to be the best time to use lights 🤣
Probably the best troopy setup I’ve seen 👌
Right on! I know of these guys but they would be proud of the way you put that together.
Absolutely awesome troopy that is the envy of many. Very efficient and entertaining video, great job. 👍
I like the setup. The curve on the Rooftop is cool too! Certainly a few things I like about the overall build, but I can say that everyone has their own needs when it comes to setting a vehicle up!
Okay
What an awesome set up. Well done guys.
Setting up an overland is an art in itself. You have to build it to your spec somehow but at the same time can be easily understood or stetting an example that this is how it should be. Simple, clean yet still very equipped. Not like others with overly done crap, but they don't fully utilize all the gear.
nicely done. Love the music !
Best I've seen, lots of thought (and $$) gone in to this one. 👍
Nice couple and great set up. Steve 🇦🇺
Nice Ep Ronny. Follow OLT these guys have the best troopy build...in my opinion, they are definately a worthwhile subscription.
I enjoy watching, good on you mate.
Epic setup came what way this troopy is ready for eveything
Nice way to spend around $210k. The places they have been in it look amazing.
Seeeeehr geile Karre!!
...Greetings from Westy-Germany
Very good video!
Loved the visuals and how funny it is, plus it's packed with info. But, I'm thinking about building my own Troopy like the one in the video, and it's kinda tough to get the hang of what to do and how to do it from this video.
The problem is it moves too fast and covers stuff too quickly. Plus, the way some things are said (maybe because of the accent), it's hard to catch everything. I get the feeling that the video steers more towards making everything too cinematic and cool, missing a lot on the actual information. E.g., I totally missed what maps he's using on his Android Head Unit. What is it? The electrical setup, in a nutshell, all we could se were power outlets. How's the interior when they are setup to sleep? How do they set it up? Etc etc.
Not sure if that was the point of the video, but I'd really like a video that slows down a bit and gets into the nitty-gritty just a little bit more, you know? Just so that we could get the in's and out's of their setup, I am sure there is a lot of overland-proof ideas behind the scenes here. It'd be super helpful for folks like me who wanna build something cool.
Thanks a bunch!
Love from 🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
The structure of the video has changed a bit. Less of conversation and more like an interview and documentary. Just straight to the point. I suppose it's good to make it short and sharp because it's almost similar with other same vehicle but I do miss the people touch, the conversations, nice vehicle set up though, practicle and well thought
They have their own channel so they probably insisted that they were to 'feature' more than Ronny
G’day Ronny, a quick line with a question. Mate love your work and always have. Bloke would you throw a chainsaw in ? AND what would you suggest two stroke or an electrically powered it would be charged thru a pretty mature electrical system. When I say a mature system, you know plenty smoke and mirrors and the supporting gear and where their is smoke I hope absolutely nada combustion. Keep up the good work mate. You are gem china, Hooroo 😊 ☮️ 🪃🦘🌊 🏄♂️ 🤙 😵💫 🤩 ☮️ out !!!
Just a few dollar-bucks there
❤❤❤
Could they pls break down their costs. Sponsorship items, what they bought themselves. Also how much is it costing to tour per week? What should one budget? This all looks and is as expensive as hell
It’s pretty much all sponsored mate, a couple of years ago these pair could barely afford a Kings rooftop tent on their old Hilux, now they’re rocking a new Troopy with all the mod cons a build worth well over $200k.
Am I jealous? Yup!
Do a video on unsponsored touring on a budget. Maybe Ronnie has already? @@frantickle
Nice rig. You guys need to slow down a bit. One night everywhere you go sometimes isn't long enough. If you slow down, you take more in.
As much as I hear you on this, it really depends on where you are and what you have going on. Sometimes you may not have extra time to just stay in one spot for more than one night.
@@chrisfanchier2318spot on , do what you want how you want when you want, everyone is different
Question Ronny, Bit off topic but wondering how many KMs have you clocked up on your 79 series dual cab ?
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰
Hi Ronny,
Need Your Expert Opinion
Does a Troopy handle Huge Pot holes and corrugations at high speed better than a Hilux?
Here IN PNG (just north of Australia)
I have a dmax 2016 and Our highways are riddled with huge poth holes.
My Little dmax moves around way too much even in smaller bumps.
While a troppy can drive faster and clear these potholes.
I love the dmax. Its faster and so reliable. But in tough corrugations. I have to slow down more while the troopy just speeds through with minimal fuss.
Can you please send a link for the rear axle extended setup
I am interested in that too
Prefer the times when you use to interview, asking the questions....
What is the total cost?
The links at the end were both on the left? Maybe it's because I viewed video on my phone?
Anyone else just like then watch? I do because every video of Ronny's is always awesome.
That’s ridiculous. Be less fan boi.
that was an easy cut and paste.
Surprised you had to move after 3 or 4 days with all that power storage.
looks like she'd go alright
diff or gearbox ratio change to run the 35's?
RPM at 110kph?
the rear track and tune is something Toyota should have already done
20L/100km is horrendous
total build cost?
costs of individual mods?
My dream 4WD....
so sad we dont have it in Israel...
but Hamas does.
watever dude.. i dont care what they have.. i want 70 series but i canot by it.
& its sad...
1st one on. cheers Ronny.
Parents must be so proud
Can you do more canopy modifieds
What is the ball park figure all these mods and upgrades cost them?
Not alot if you are asking what it cost them🤣🤣🤣
touring full time on muddies and 35s..... thats not very smart haha. but its all for the gram!
Nice vehicle, although I'm a bit tired of Troop Carriers between Ronny, St Pierre White and Instagram.
Not sure if I love this style of Modified, doesn't have the same personal vibe, prefer the interview style - maybe there is a valid reason, like Ronny was suddenly unavailable or it's a condition of the guest.
Not a bad video, just my feedback 👍
Infinitie money glitch ??
Not all your big name gear was reliable "Brown Davis"
Pretty hard to get excited about yet another travelling UA-camr and their modded 70 series. Yawn.
Spot on
Don’t watch it and move on then.
agreed. 70 series have been done to death. time to show some different rigs
I'm just about to watch it, but before I do is it a couple of young pseudo hipsters by any chance?
@@michaelbaylis1631 check out some US channels. The 4WD scene is much more interesting over there, Toyota and Landcruiser obsession isn’t a thing.
Rhonny I am confused was this supposed to be yours or one of theirs ? Looks like you just edited into theirs and her voice !!
What you do for toilet?
It has a toilet
To be honest I actually prefer this type of shorter modified episodes.
The old version used to drag on for ages and had alot of slow bits that I would usually skip etc it's alot more to-the-point now and still gets the idea across, just quicker :)
Awesome build and gives them some exposure if they have their own channel 👍🏼 cheers
Amazing what you can do with a 1/4 million dollars these days ..
Just seems to be the absolute norm now 250k just rolls of the tongue
I am not really vibing this new modified format at all. They went from a 30-40 min deep dive walk around of a vehicle, to what is now a 10 min clip when you take all the B roll and fancy camera work out.
Please go back to the old style, I don't find the new ones worth watching now.
I love the higher quality of camera work but it seems to me more about that and less about the content now.
Still love Ronny, this is just my opinion
So this is basically reposting about 90% of their previous videos...
Gay...who cares.
