Oh my Cynthia. I hope your husband gets better soon. Now, that wig on you is spectacular. Yes, the color is interesting for sure but not too crazy. I would love it to be a few inches shorter for me but it certainly looks just fine on you.
Thank you so much! I agree that the length would suit me better just a couple inches shorter, but I managed to cut my Caliente so I think this would be relatively easy as well.
Yay! Thank you! Glad you found one you like! It is a really interesting color. ETA: Actually, I've decided she is going to a new home so she is for sale in the Community Section.
That looks great on you! If you're not used to the white it is a shock, but from an outsider I look at you and think it is gorgeous on you and it suits you. IMO very natural way to gray. I love Sandy Silver, I have 2 Rene of Paris Amaras in that color and love them.
Thanks so much, Lisa! It is a pretty color. I think the front on both sides could be braided and clipped back, lots of options with this style. Thank you for stopping by!
That is really cute and like the color for grey toned wig. I would be interested in how long this synthetic/HD blend lasts. I live in dry desert area and HF fibers don't last at all out here. Hate to say it, Bell Tress (which I love their soft fibers and awesome colors) wigs barely last two weeks with detangle spray after each wear, spray conditioner, etc. I have better luck with straight synthetic fiber wigs.
I lived in Colorado and Utah, so I know the dry air has an effect on a lot of things. Didn't wear wigs back then, though. I also prefer regular synthetic fibers, but thought I'd give these a chance. Where I live now is quite a bit "juicier" and Belle Tress fibers have lasted me a very long time, unlike Raquel Welch.
What?!!...clicking on this video l thought this was your gorgeous and stunning own natural hair! Awesome...awesome fantastic, whoha wow blows me away , its beautiful!!
I have a husband that has an aversion to gray hair. He can’t understand why women let their hair go gray. He thinks gray hair makes women look older, so I’ve never tried one. I think you look fabulous!
Husbands, sheesh! What I do love about this gray is that it is not rooted, cannot understand rooted grays. I always said that when my own hair went gray, I wanted to look like Barbara Stanwyck in The Big Valley old TV series. And the country feed co-op's manager is a sweet lady with hair just like this, naturally, with more white/silver in the front. I have always loved her hair. Thank you!
I want to add that if I had not experienced genetic hair loss and my hair turned gray, I would not color it, same as when I was younger. I'd rather be younger in my skin, makeup, clothes, whatever, than cover up the gray. I'm not ashamed of my age at all, earned every gray hair and wrinkle, LOL. This wig color is much like a woman I mentioned who manages our country feed co-op, whose natural hair is exactly like this. I always thought her hair was gorgeous and would often tell her so. Now, I can have April's hair, just not as long as hers. 😊
this looks exactly like my naturally greying hair, if only I had enough! I loved the color and, at the beginning of my wig journey, I was looking for a replica. Now I feel that one of the advantages of wearing wigs is being able to change color!
[I hope your husband feels better !] I absolutely love that on you and the color is fabulous, very natural. Looks like how someone would naturally grey. I love the low density on it. I am interested to see what you feel about this mix of fibers and how well they hold up. Overall -- Well done ! Thank you for a wonderful review.
Thank you, Sandy. I did some styling photos in the Community Section, however I decided not to keep this and she's boxed up for the new owner. I will say that the new fibers move very naturally, hence the name "Natural Movement" fibers. The density is on the lower side, probably just short of medium density overall. Thank you for watching and commenting! A sale video will be up today.
Thank you, Becky. The manager of my county co-op has hair like that naturally. I've always thought it was beautiful and told her so, but hers is natural, right down to the shock of white in front.
I hope you still see my question since your original post was a couple months ago.... I think she looks gorgeous on you! Sandy Silver has always been extremely close to my bio hair...so much so that I can wear my helper hair when I just don't feel like styling mine, and nobody knows the difference! I just got my Merrill in Sandy Silver, and I think her coloring is different this time. The front is much more white than silver. I held her up to my other pieces, and it's definitely whiter in the front. Sandy Silver is such a tough color to find in medium length pieces! I have a topper that I wear a lot from Godiva's secret wigs, and I love the topper, and always get compliments. I wasn't sure about the lack of permatease, but I like that part. GSWs have their own name, but I suspect are probably the same brands with their own tag. They have a Diana LF wig in Sandy Silver that is very similar and in one of the reviews a customer uploaded their picture. I thought maybe it was you. Is it? And if so, which one do you like better? I don't understand the numbers from other companies to find similar colors.... the back of my head just has grey sprinkled everywhere and I find other brands are too grey in the back for me. Can you suggest another brand with a color similar to Sandy Silver? Thanks!
No, it wasn't me. I don't buy Godiva's Secret. Yes, they are a "white labeler" brand, featuring many Noriko/Rene of Paris wigs. Could be it is the same as Merrill, sure. Have you tried Silverstone in Rene of Paris/Noriko? Silverstone in Tony of Beverly is exactly like a dark blonde turning gray with more white in the front. I have a video showing Norah by TOB in Silverstone, but it's less dramatic than Sandy Silver. I'm glad you like the low profile without permatease. That's why I tell those details so you can make decisions, but yet, there are those pesky variations we can't ever predict. You might check out Pearl Mist or Minx for nice grays in the Tony of Beverly brand. Not everyone carries the brand, but there are still some who do.
My natural hair colour sounds much the same as yours - pale blonde/grey mix on the top layer but dark ashy brown at the nape. I'm not sure what the next stage will be - probably more likely to go 'winter white' all over than any shade of grey I imagine.
Have you ever seen the Jon Renau color Martini (101F48T)? It's a nice silvery gray and dark blonde mix, no rooting. I have had it in the past and will probably get something else in that shade again soon. Noriko also has Silverstone and Moonstone, etc. They offer several gray or transition to gray alternatives.
I did post a picture of it in the video after I pushed aside the hair enough to see the camera in order to take the picture, at 3:27 mark. I explained that my video was sort of ruined by the situation in the house at the time.
This one is fairly intense. I prefer Tony of Beverly's Silverstone over any Adreran's brand like Noriko/Rene of Paris's Silverstone. and the Jon Renau Martini is a beautiful gray/dark blonde blend, a very soft, appealing color. I have not explored many grays because my bio hair is not that gray. The rooted grays make no sense to me unless you're wearing them as some sort of fashion statement. Women who are gray generally don't have black roots.
Sorry, gotta add another comment after reading through other earlier comments about gray.... Weirdly my husband LOVES the grays and that is why I went to them exclusively. He gave half-hearted "yea I like it" comments to every wig I got, until I got Amara in Sandy Silver (and also got it in Smoke Ivory, which he really loved). He compliments me much more often and seems genuine about it now. I have also gotten a lot more compliments at work since I started wearing grays. I was wearing Estetica Jett in gray in Lowes this past weekend, and I got the feeling a man and his wife were looking at me. In a little bit the women came down the aisle we were on and said, "I just have to come tell you, I'm a hairdresser and your hair is fantastic!" (I did tell her it was a wig) Just had to "defend" the gray ladies! Lol!!
Super excited about this! My husband loves gray. I’m also 67. Fit? Please tell me it runs small. I love everything about this. It’s stunning. This is my natural hair color and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for- if it would fit me. Jon renau petite fits me best. Thanks!❤
I can wear Jon Renau petite and this fits me as well as that, no baggy cap that I could discern. I'm petite avg myself when you consider my measurements (in the description box).
Wow, Cynthia, she is really dramatic! I would love to see what you end up doing with her as you style her. I'm sure you can fluff her up a bit. Love and blessings ♥️🙏
It is quite pretty. I noticed my husband's hair is about the same color, all silver at the front and sides, exactly the same color in back. But, his hair is still thick at 71, darn it!
Thank you! Helping others avoid buying mistakes and make better decisions is why I'm here. I'm surprised I haven't heard anyone mention how flat this is on top so I wanted to make sure I got that information out to you ladies.
Beverly, I'm just reviewing a wig so others can make their own informed choices. If you think it's messy and aging, then it's not for you and I've done my due diligence.
I think she is gorgeous on you as is!! I have avoided Noriko d/t too much volume. LOVE this.!
Thanks, Louanne. This is definitely not the same Noriko I used to know!
You look SO CLASSY in this style & color.
Thank you, Diane! I hope the dark blue shirt helped to showcase the color in the best light.
I really like it on you. My first reaction was NOT that it was flat on top, but that it looked soft and feminine and natural.
Thank you, Margaret!
Oh my Cynthia. I hope your husband gets better soon. Now, that wig on you is spectacular. Yes, the color is interesting for sure but not too crazy.

I'm sold. That colour and style is exactly what I'm looking for, and it looks very flattering on you!
Yay! Thank you! Glad you found one you like! It is a really interesting color. ETA: Actually, I've decided she is going to a new home so she is for sale in the Community Section.
You should keep this one. These dynamic colors are stunning on you!
You can use a little steam to contour the front to suit you better 😊
I may use steam, however, it is responding to manipulation with my hands and I think it will behave pretty well the more I do that. Thank you!
This is gorgeous on you…color and style! I also like this length on you, too.
Thank you, I just hope this helps other women make a decision about this wig, yea or nay. All perspectives should help, right?
That looks great on you! If you're not used to the white it is a shock, but from an outsider I look at you and think it is gorgeous on you and it suits you. IMO very natural way to gray. I love Sandy Silver, I have 2 Rene of Paris Amaras in that color and love them.
Thank you, Sharon! I think it's a striking and very pretty gray myself.
Wow! Super pretty color! Looks like what little bio hair I have left! I really like it on you!🩷🩷
Thanks so much, Lisa! It is a pretty color. I think the front on both sides could be braided and clipped back, lots of options with this style. Thank you for stopping by!
The density is very realistic. It’s a pretty style and the silver in front reminds me a little of minx by TOB.
Yes, it is a nice density. I agree about Minx! This color would look pretty on a pixie, I bet.
This one is soo natural looking I don't usually like gray but I actually like this colour the light colour around the face is very flattering 👍
No lie - this is a sexy look on you! The combo of the color and the direction of the flow you put into it, it all just WORKS!
Thank you! It really is a striking color and very lightweight to wear.
Oh, I love it! It looks Sassy! Now I will have to check this one out. Hope your hubby gets better soon.
Charmaine 💜
Thank you, Charmaine. Yes, she's a sassy girl!

I got a couple that I try to find a way to wear too. Frustrating when they won't cooperate, lol.
Yes, it can be a royal pain, but with this one, I think I can work it out.
I love it! It looks so natural
It really is a lovely gray, isn't it? Thank you, Wendy!
What?!!...clicking on this video l thought this was your gorgeous and stunning own natural hair!
Awesome...awesome fantastic, whoha wow blows me away , its beautiful!!

Gray hair does make mature women look older
My husband didn’t like gray for the longest. What changed his mind was seeing a picture of Cindy Joseph 😂
I want to add that if I had not experienced genetic hair loss and my hair turned gray, I would not color it, same as when I was younger. Maybe that's the reason women become almost addicted to buying wigs...all the choices they never had in the past.
@@frontporchwigchat6260 yes, I am very aware it could become an addiction and I'm so thankful for your videos on the subject.
[I hope your husband feels better !]

Thank you! Hope you love it if you decide to get one. It really is pretty.
I love this wig and color on you! You look gorgeous in this as is.
Thank you. It really is a striking color!
Cynthia: I love this on you! Could you do another video styling this one? Would love to see the way it moves. Thank you!

Merrill in Sandy Silver looks absolutely gorgeous on you.
Thank you, Becky. The manager of my county co-op has hair like that naturally. I've always thought it was beautiful and told her so, but hers is natural, right down to the shock of white in front.

This looks a lot like JR's Scarlett (except for no permatease). Or Julianne, only this isn't hand-tied. Looks stunning!

That is a shocker Noriko having low permatease
It is and this is flat as a pancake unless you work at it.
